Great scheduling experience and a consistently good clean. My favorite cleaning service

I have been so happy since the team left today that I felt I just had to come onto the internet and give them a 5 star review, which I don't do very often. I have never in my life had a recurring cleaning service. I have done cleans for move out of apartments and so on, but never on a basis where I knew the service would come back. I've never been so excited for this addition to my life. I got a quote online from the cleaning authority as well as other cleaners in the area. They were the only ones that wanted a follow up phone call or facetime which I actually liked - I had questions about add on services for cleaning rooms in my finished basement. Doug, the owner, was excellent on the phone. He immediately sent me a reasonable quote and I signed up for the service. When I say this team was thorough, they were THOROUGH. They even had a manager come to the house and stop by and inspect the house. I saw her on her hands and knees move something that was under my cabinet to make sure the team got behind the stuff. WHAT?! I mean, come on. All evening I'm looking around and realizing the detail behind what they cleaned. They took the dog hair that get stuck to the bottom of the chairs in my kitchen. They cleaned the cracks in my shower drain! They dusted my light bulbs on my side tables. They do the tiny little things that you see in your house but ignore because you think "I am too busy to clean this." I keep getting excited realizing just how clean my house is. The feeling of knowing my house is this clean and will continue to be on a biweekly basis is such a weight off of my shoulders. Thank you! read more

We have been using the Cleaning Authority for about 1 year. We have really grown to appreciate the service and the excellent work they do. They are prompt, very conscientious and always eager to please. The place consistently is in better shape than before we started. The cleaning team is always looking for something to straighten up or clean up and they work completely independently and are extremely trustworthy. Be aware of this unprofessional company. I used their service for move in and move out clean. Three things that I'm really unsatisfactory about this company: 1. They would charge at least for 4 hours no matter what kind of the job it is. Even they claimed it would be prorated, they would still make the maids work at least lasting 2 hours for 2 people. They could make the cleaning job slowly to have the job of a 700sqft apartment cleaning also take 4 hours. 2. For both the move in and move out service, they were not coming on time as scheduled. For one service, they said they wanted to come 1 hour earlier as scheduled or they would need to pay the maids without them doing the work. So I tried my best to change my schedule to do them a favor. But I guessed they just took that for granted. For the other service, they came 3 hours late and didn't even make a phone call before that. 3. Their cleaning service is just so-so. They overlooked some cabinets and some refrigerator parts, which were still left dirty. And they claimed to hand clean the window but actually just vacuumed it. I tried to communicate with them about the issues and they seems don't care too much or show any signs to make it up. Definitely won't hire them in the future. read more

Just had our first clean and it was even better than we had expected! Coming home to a pristine apartment is a wonderful feeling especially after a long week of work. Doug has been super responsive as well and very personable. Looking forward to our biweekly cleans. read more

The Cleaning Authority is really great. The owner stays very involved to make sure that the end result is good. They come to my house on a regular basis and it's always very clean. The price is reasonable as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Started good and then they didn't clean well. I gave them a try again and the first team was great and only signed up if they gave us that team every time.... well that didn't happen. One team literally moved my living room furniture around and then the next time they came they were at my house for an hour and 10 minutes and didn't clean a bathroom and one of my bedrooms. Horrible job. I emailed the owner and I never received a response so customer service wasn't that great. read more

Doug couldn't have been friendlier or more professional when he came by to give the estimate. We have had bi-weekly service for 8 months now and all but one of the cleans have been impeccable. And the one that wasn't Doug sent out another team the very next day to fix. Highly recommend SCA! read more

I'm two cleanings in and signed up for biweekly. Douglas is on top of everything and the 2-person team are very nice. I've requested a couple of modifications and some logistical notes and all were received without any problem. I'm glad I reached out when i got the card in the mail. Giv'em a try! read more
