He responded to my inquiry within a few hours unlike competitors who either didn't return calls or couldn't give a bid for over a week. They were on time, efficient and very professional. Arturo responded within 30 minutes for an estimate to remove a tree stump. Arrived as scheduled the following day and did a great job thoroughly grinding the stump using newer equipment. Pricing was quite reasonable. Polite and professional. Strongly recommended. After three days I'm still waiting for two other contractors to return my calls. read more

Gary; Got a quote I thought was fair. They came at 8 a.m. with 5 guys and in 11/2 hours had taken my Ash tree down and trimmed up my silver male. Cleaned everything up and ground out the stump and the stump root runner. Would call them again if I needed work done or would recommend them to a friend. read more

The first…read moretime a couple of years ago when I had a tree that was growing too close to the house and I couldn't get it down with out damaging either my property or the neighbors. He and his crew came in and did a fantastic job removing the tree and cleaning up afterward. Then just this last weekend amidst all the straight line winds and micro bursts that plagued Rockford last weekend I had a very large pine tree blow down on my garage. I called late on a Saturday leaving a message not expecting to hear from anyone until Monday. Tony called me back Saturday night to touch base. He came out on Sunday and gave me an estimate the same day. We had to wait to move a dumpster out of my driveway so his equipment could get in to do the job. As soon as it was moved he was there the next day with his crew. He gave me an estimate and went over what I wanted and what the estimate covered. He told me what additional he could do and how much extra it would cost if I wanted it. (IE Stump grinding vs bare minimal tree removal) They were fast. They were professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They did good work. I can't say enough good things about them. If you are need tree work done, whether it's removing a standing tree or one that fell; Soppa's tree service is the service to use.
