Finally a woman's boutique had returned to Red Bud, IL. Two hard working 20 something's started…read morethis business online about a year ago, and decided it was time to open a store front. They are two friends from high school who realized a need for women in a small town, or was it that they were from a small town. It started out online, selling a few dresses, some blouses and leggings. They listened to their customers and added scarfs, shoes, boot socks, headbands, hats, etc.... Once again customers asked if they had thought of opening a store front, that way one could try on the items and really do some browsing. I know I shop better in person then on line. On Saturday March 22, 2104 a grand opening was held. People were waiting in the parking lot and the store quickly filled up. Brown and pink bags were happily toted out of the store with some happy women. The owners were overwhelmed with the response. These two ladies are still working their full time jobs, so they are thinking the hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night from 5 to 8 pm and Saturday 8 to 2. They still have their website and are going to be adding more summer time apparel. Stop and shop if you are close to Red Bud.

I usually see a few couches, tables, chairs, bed frames... and since I'm always looking for wooden furniture to refinish- it's a gold mine! As for the clothing selection, it seems like an average thrift store type of selection. And the parking lot can be rather challenging. It's small, gravel, and on Saturdays can get tricky to park in it. But as I said - gold mine for fresh selections of furniture every few days and fun knick knacks. Plus the proceeds go to support Camp Wartburg (an awesome Christian Camp for kiddos). I love bringing my donations here too.

Someone in my household has skin sensitivities and we often order soap products from a company nearby who also produces all-natural soaps. Since we've found this place, I've been coming here to buy their soaps instead! My favorite is their lip products: the butterfly and honey kisses especially. They're petroleum-free and based on the listed ingredients, I would say they're also gluten-free. They also leave my lips feeling soft but not in a greasy kind of way. My lips have not been feeling chapped even in the crazy winter conditions since I switched to only using their lip balms. They carry other beauty products as well. I love the charcoal facial soap with tea tree oil. They always make my skin feel clean and since I have very oily skin, the charcoal actually has been helping. This shop really is wonderful. If you're into all-natural products, you need to check it out! I'm not into holistic stuff but I do tend to avoid using excessive chemicals in my body if I can help it.
