I really enjoy coming to this coffee bean for some tea. The store is located right across the mall and I feel its location is also pretty convenient considering other local restaurants, especially the bakery right next door. They do have outdoor seating and even comfortable seats inside. It's a good place to relax or study. The staff here have always been polite & welcoming. I've never had an issue with any of my orders. The downside is that this coffee bean does not have a drive thru. It also is the only coffee bean in the antelope valley. For someone who has grown tired of Starbucks, it would be nice if we had more coffee beans around. Nonetheless it's still nice to have one at least. read more

I like the new drinks that rotate with Coffee Bean and their pebble ice is nice. Some issues that I have coming in this most recent time as someone who use to frequent both here and Starbucks daily: 1) the app needs work. It should be seamless and frictionless. I faced so many hurdles that I ended up just going in to pay and then I was stuck in a line. The Apple Pay should be quick and easy, no reloads no bs just fix it. 2) as mentioned above I was in a line. Every time I'm here though there's a line and never seems to be enough situational awareness to have 2 people on register as soon as 3 or more people are in line. It leads people to be frustrated especially AFTER a horrible app experience in which I could have skipped the line and wait had I been able to order the drink before leaving Lancaster and arriving to this store. 3 lastly, I ordered 2 drinks and then I said after paying can I get a large ice water. " oh that's going to be an extra charge for the cup".... Are you kidding me lol I could understand people just walking in wanting water but even with a purchase I need to pay for the cup. But I just have issues with nickel and diming customers anywhere. I'm glad to see Coffee Bean is still here because I know some locations have closed but there's just some things that need to be tidied up for me to continue to come here. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at this Coffee Bean location thanks to Noel and Mark. Noel has such an amazing energy and truly knows how to make customers feel welcome from the moment they walk in. His positive attitude and kindness genuinely made mine & my friend's day, you can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for everyone. Mark was also friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. On top of that, they made our drinks to perfection they were absolutely delicious and exactly how we wanted them. It's clear they take pride in both their customer service and the quality of what they serve. I'm a loyal--or at least I was a loyal--Silver Member, and the great service at my regular spot is the only reason I choose Coffee Bean over competitors. But this Palmdale location (Store #244, next to Nadia Cakes) completely failed on basic hospitality, and corporate has totally ghosted me. * The Incident: I bought a canned Spindrift and asked for a cup of ice to dilute it due to my age and immediate physical needs. * The Refusal: Staff flatly refused to give me a cup. I asked for any alternative that wouldn't incur a charge--even their small water cup--just to hold the ice. * No Empathy: The manager admitted he had the discretion to bypass the $0.25 cup fee, but intentionally chose not to help a paying customer. Zero empathy over a quarter. * The Automated Loop: When I complained, a customer service bot replied four separate times claiming they provide a "complimentary water cup." I kept responding that this cup was never offered to me, but I was just trapped in the same automated loop. * Total Silence: I finally tried to reach out to regional management directly to fix this, but I have been met with absolute silence. No response at all. No human accountability from the counter to the corporate office. Unacceptable. I guess Coffee Bean doesn't really need my business. read more

BOGO Deals & Ube Delights! I keep coming back to this location for their great deals ~ either BOGO or $3 handcrafted drinks. Totally worth it! My go-to orders are the Ice Blended Dark Chocolate and Hot Mocha. So far, they have been consistently good. Recently, I tried the Ice Blended Ube Coconut Affogato from their Ube Sensation series ~ loved it! The flavors blend really well. Just a heads up: when they are running promos, it gets busy. I've waited over 30 minutes for my order during peak times, and they are sometimes short-staffed. The café is on the smaller side but a decent place to work ~ there are plugs available for laptops and devices. Parking is usually not an issue, and I appreciate the gender-neutral restrooms, which are generally clean. read more

Ended up waiting 15 extra minutes for a drink that was already done. If either employee would've acknowledged me at any point this could've been avoided. The employees were rude and when I finally asked about mobile ordering, I was told to wait in the wrong place. Very disappointed because I was excited to come in and try this location. read more

I saw this place in passing and went in on a Saturday afternoon- midday. I did not expect to have such an awful experience. When i walked in, the line was already a little long which wasn't an issue but then after 10 mins in line, i noticed the guy at the counter taking orders seemed to be a little slow in his pace. When it was finally my turn to order; I ordered an horchata latte and a turkey pesto sandwich. The guy entered my order incorrectly multiple times. I corrected him 3 times. He kept putting in -matcha, i never ordered that, then he entered-protein latte- corrected him again. Not sure if he was new or just nervous but he kept apologizing and I was still very patient with him. I paid and proceeded to the waiting area. I got my sandwich first but my drink took forever!!! Not only did the barista who placed the drink on the counter did not call my name; But there was absolutely no label on the cup- Which caused a-lot of confusion while waiting. I kept checking to see if my order was ready but nobody said anything. I was standing there for 30 mins waiting...,until the same guy that i placed the order with called my name and said- "hey, not sure how long the drink has been sitting there but you can try it and let me know"... i was extremely irritated because it shows just plain incompetence. I grabbed the drink and left. When i got in the car; i tried the drink and it tasted like syrup water... extremely sugary, sweet garbage. This was a complete waste of time and money and they need to work on a better workflow. This place is chaotic. First and last time I will go here. read more

We stopped at The Coffee Bean in Palmdale because it was the nearest coffeehouse in the area. When we walked in, the place looked pretty dirty. The front door had fingerprints all over it and just didn't look well-kept. I walked up to the counter and asked the employee if they had sugar-free options. He said yes, so I ordered a sugar-free iced coffee. I haven't had regular sugar in a long time, and even a sip gives me an instant headache. When I took a drink, it was full of sugar. I went back to the counter, and all the employees just looked at me. I asked about it, and they said they don't actually have sugar-free drinks,only no sugar added. I explained that's not the same thing, and the employee should have mentioned that when I asked. The girl at the counter didn't seem to care much and kind of brushed it off. I had to ask for a refund, which they did give me. We had ordered three coffees -- $15 total -- and honestly, they were all bad. The drinks weren't good, the service was poor, and the place looked dirty overall. Definitely won't be coming back. They really need to work on their customer service and cleanliness. read more

My favorite is the ice blended drinks especially the white mocha version. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf have a great rewards program that is built into their app. However, the rewards program is a lot more complicated to understand than the simpler rewards program offered by Starbucks. The food & pastry option at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are leaps & bounds better than those found at Starbucks. I feel like I've entered a bakery when visiting The Coffee Bean. My wife especially enjoys the overnight oats. I believe The Coffee Beans pricing is easier on the wallet that is Starbucks and the quality is on par or better too. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has plenty of interior seating and some exterior seating. The coffee shop has an interior that is familiar over the decades, but has not been modernized or changed over time so it seems a bit dated now. The staff were really nice and offered good suggestions to me. If I wanted to hang out with friends at a coffee shop, I'd choose The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. read more

Although it is sort of off the beaten path, it is so worth the trip. They don't have a drive through or curbside pickup, which is sad, but once again it is worth the short walk. If you use the mobile app, it is ready when you are. The pastries are always great and fresh, and Baristas are eager to help and very presentable. I love coffee bean it's my go to and take everyone I can there already. The coffee is so delicious and I wish there were more locations. Today I spilled my coffee on my way out and I just thought oh well I'll just reorder but before I could decide the district manager came out and said they would remake my coffee.
