So at work a coworker told us how her and her daughter come here maybe twice a week and have and use rewards program so I decided to try. She hyped it up saying it's so good and the lines are just as long as a Starbucks day rush. So I get there there's a drive-through and there's only one car ahead of us. There is a gentleman outside taking orders with an iPad who is very helpful and takes recognition that we never been here before. He started asking us questions and telling us about the menu as I went online to look at a larger menu. His suggestions were kind of helpful and we are not prompted of the reward program. Ended up ordering a smoothie and a iced blended drink. The lemonade is what I got and it was very sour even though it was strawberry peach flavoring which was melting very fast because it was super sunny. I will give it a three out of five because it was refreshing but it just was not sweet. And the smoothie we also ordered the feedback on that was that also it was on the sour side but I did not taste it. I appreciate how pretty the designs are of the store , how clean it looks from the outside and how helpful the gentleman was.. I would say the best part was the muffin tops that we ordered. I got the lemon poppyseed which is normally sweet across-the-board and we also ordered the orange cranberry which was good but there are huge craisin pieces. When I first heard about Dutch Bros, I was a little sus about the brand and the concept. Keeping an open mind, I drove an hour and a half from Los Angeles to Lancaster to check it out. I'm not a coffee drinker per se, so I settled for a Lemonade/Shark Attack. It tastes like the old-school Freeze Pops. It's a little sweet, but after a while, I got used to the taste, and honestly, it was delicious. This was my first time there. It was not pleasant. After I made my order, I sat in line in back of another vehicle that was at the window for almost 10 minutes while they held a full-conversation with the guy in the drive-through window. By the time I got my cups, they were bath water warm and one of the lids was not put on properly. Coffee spilled all over. When I eventually cleaned up the mess and tasted both drinks, they were just underwhelming! What is the hype about?! Why did I get up out of my bed and drive past two quality mom and pop coffee places just to be met with poor customer service and mediocre product?! The whole visit was quite ragtag; the guy who finally brought my order to the car was okay, I guess...it just wasn't a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Hello I just wanted to make a comment about a situation I saw at this location around 9:30pm , I witnessed the sweetest people in the av get treated horribly by a group of nasty women and children ! I love this shop, I come almost every morning and I hope the management of this location take the employees side with this cause those people were so rude and difficult for absolutely no apparent reason, they had an employee starting at a screen ( having to help people on the side) all for a receipt and a name ? Not 100% sure what the situation was but I just know that the employee who helped them sounded like she just wanted to help and they just weren't satisfied enough. They started asking for people to be fired man! Purple hair employee had an attitude even before helping. She got angry because I didn't know my order even though I asked her for a second. Obviously she isn't fit to work retail if she doesn't expect a customer to need time or even have patience. She then proceeded to cry after helping us like it was our fault was complained to her manager for having attitude when in reality we were given attitude even before being asked what we wanted. They have teams taking order in the drive thru lines which gives you time to sign up for their app. I got a golden eagle and it was amazing. The cookie top treats are yummy as well. The orders for food or drinks are always correct and never watered down drinks are never drastically over packed with ice nor are the cup over flowing with whip cream if you order it and when they ask if you like room for cream & sugar they do not leave you with a whole half a cup for cream & sugar (I would be getting some pain with that much cream & sugar). They service is again awesome always and I mean always greet you with a smile and are welcoming you and it doesn't matter if it is as your driving up or at the window thank you for appreciating your customers . SLOW SLOW SLOW!! I just sat in the Dutch brothers queue line ... for 30 minutes. I mean, In the actual drive-thru line on the property of the business.... not stretched out beyond. If it weren't for the free drink, I would not have even come. Why does it take so long?? even when the baristas have taken the orders and payments from every single car in line? It also doesn't help to watch a barista deliver drinks to the car five spaces behind you. When the baristas are overly friendly, but not efficient, starting a convo with me at the window about what I'm doing the rest of the day (after giving a half hour of it away in their drive thru) no drink in hand, is just irritating. I've been here now 5 times since they have opened and I just want to say they have been AMAZING every single time. The wait is super long due to only one location being open as of now but the staff is super friendly. I waited in the drive thru for my drink but the staff worked diligently to keep the line moving. The only thing I would say is they didn't label the cups to let you know which drink was what so they replaced them and properly labeled them. They were going to try to differentiate our first drinks but even they couldn't tell which was what so they kindly replaced them. I do enjoy them more than Starbucks for sure. read more

Had the worst experience earlier today. Such a shame considering that my cocomo was made to perfection. But the environment there was too catty. I heard yelling coming from one of the employees, Rachel. You were to think I was sitting in a Jerry Springer audience with the way she was talking to some of the other employees. When I go to Dutch I want to enjoy my drink, not fear that it's gonna get thrown across the room before I even receive it. This is so unprofessional and I don't think this is the type of behavior you should be demonstrating in front of customers. I am not one to leave reviews, so this should give you an idea of how bad it was. Something needs to be done before we the customers become the punching bag! read more

If I can give a 0 star rating I would! I got about 10 drinks on September 1 around 9:39pm. The employee with purple hair was so rude and the manger needs to be changed asap! I was approached by the employee with purple hair to take my order but I asked for a second since I needed time to look at the menu. She then proceeded to make more drinks. Once I was ready I told her and she looked at her coworker, nodded her head and rolled her eyes saying "teenagers". I found that so rude and unprofessional! The fact that I hadn't order yet a was given attitude was unbelievable. After one of my friends was done with her order she proceeded to say "next time speak up because there is music playing" and my friend responded saying "ok". Once it was my turn I spoke up and she still told me to speak up about 4x even though I had raised my voice so she can hear me. I was done with my order and I politely asked for her name and she said "I'm not giving you my name" I then nicely said "okay there's no need for all the attitude you gave us" mind you I said it nice as possible. She then went on a break and went in the car with "another employee" according to the manger. After getting our drinks and walking to car the other employee speed off almost hitting one of my friends. We got home and tasted our drinks to find out they tasted like water! We went back and asked to speak to the manager to discuss what had happened previously and get our drinks remade. As we were speaking to the manager she took the employees side and made up excuses such as, "we are supposed to treat our employees like our customers so we tend to give them a lot of chances" and after telling her about the incident with the car she said "she always does that. It isn't the first time." The manger then told us that the employee with the purple hair had accused us of taking pictures of her! (There was no pictures taken what so ever). We asked the manager if she can speak with the employee and she said " she doesn't want to speak with me". You would think speaking to the manager you would come up with a resolution but she gave so many excuses and tried to cut around the situation to back up the employee. I hope this gets to the owner since we were told by the manger there's isn't anyone above her, they don't have a customer service number, and couldn't talk to the employee. read more
