What a great little coffee house! I've dropped in a few times when I've been in Stevens Point for work and I love this cafe. Whether you're taking coffee to go or staying for a while, it's a great experience. The baristas are friendly and helpful and the coffee is hot, fresh, and flavorful. I really enjoyed a recent visit when I was able to sit and have coffee and a muffin (blueberry, cranberry - yum!) in a mug. There's nothing like coffee in a 'real' cup! It was a quiet morning and I just did some people watching. Ask the barista for a password for free wifi. You'll enjoy your visit to this sweet place right in downtown Stevens Point. read more

This is a nice place. It's a coffee house atmosphere, good Bakery, excellent sandwiches, good service. The only thing is you need to have time - because it's also at a slower coffeehouse pace, especially if you're ordering a meal. But this is a place definitely worth eating. This is a GREAT coffee shop! I am a picky tea drinker and their tea choices are wonderful and delicious, highly recommend them! They have tasty light breakfast.and e've tried and love the scones, bagels, breakfast croissants oatmeal and their Monte Cristo panini. I'm only in Stevens Point one week a year but had found this place during a scavenger hunt! They are wonderful and reliable. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. The owner, Wendy, and her help are all delightful people and treat everyone like family. I highly recommend this place and will be back as often as I can! read more

I worked remotely during the day at Coffee Studio for a couple of days in a row (5-6 hours at a time) while in town for my brother's wedding. I always bought a $3 coffee when I walked in, though wouldn't buy more if I wasn't hungry. The last day I was there, the man who I presumed was the owner (tall, older gentleman, larger build) approached me at my table, extremely angry at the fact that I had been using one of tables so long. "This IS NOT your office!" were literally the first words out of his mouth. I was pretty taken aback. He had never previously spoken to me once, nor communicated in any direct way that he felt I wasn't purchasing enough to merit my stay (which I would have at least respected). It felt as though I was being treated like a dollar sign (or lack thereof) rather than a person. Because he wasn't in earlier that morning, and made assumptions rather than stopping to ask/talk kindly first, he also had failed to realize I had just earlier that day bought 5 Paninis from his staff and spent about $40 to feed four homeless drifters right outside his store. He generally just seems like an angry person, which I had noticed through a few other conversations with staff that week. If you're just in and out of the store to get a coffee or a meal, then you're probably fine, but I wouldn't ever spend any amount of time here again. read more

The Coffee Studio brews Collectivo Coffee. This is great, since I can usually only get Collectivo Coffee in Milwaukee. There are breakfast and lunch sandwiches here, but the coffee is best. Read the other reviews here. I heard from friends that the food is good here. I used to come here when previous owners were in this location. It was warm and friendly back then. Things haven't changed except for the interior design and possibly better coffee. The atmosphere here is sweet. The morning staff is alive and friendly. It looks like this is a local early morning gathering place for community organizing groups. Small committees have their early morning, small group meetings here. I will give The Coffee Studio four and one-half stars for cleanliness. I give them five-stars for excellent WiFi connection. read more

Had a panini and latte for lunch and both were fantastic! I usually don't get whipped cream on my lattes, but I was persuaded to try one of the homemade favors and I was not disappointed. I had the turkey spinach bacon ranch panini and it was awesome. The bacon was definitely not the cheap store bought stuff you normally get and there was a good amount of turkey in there. The latte was great. I've been to a couple of the other coffee shops in town and this one takes the lead, at least for lattes. I may have missed it, but the only thing that the other shops have that I didn't see here was a nice selection of desserts. read more

Been here a handful of times, as its the closest coffee shop to my office. I want to like this shop because of its convenient location and cozy environment, but every time I go to grab a cup of coffee here it's just "meh." I've tried a few different drinks here, and have been pretty underwhelmed by them all. I've noticed almost every espresso-made drink I've had here has that extremely sour taste from the tannic acid in the. I don't know if its a result of too course of a grind or over-extraction, but it's just not good. read more

First service from behind the counter was great. No complaint there, the cappuccino I had was very good. HOWEVER, I normally go to coffee shop to relax, read, talk work on computer. But while I was the the Owner out of all the people was on the phone upset and it really made the already small space even smaller and uncomfortable, I was also made to feel that I needed to drink my 16 OZ mug of cappuccino ASAP and leave as I was more of a nuisance then a paying customer. read more

Best chai tea around. We stopped by to get a quick coffee to go and the owner gave us a free sample of the chai tea, I never had such good chai before. I liked their chai tea so much that I got some at three other places in the last couple of months ( a place in Sturgeon Bay, Stevens Point, and Door County WI) yuck! What a mistake, from now on I only get my Chai from the Coffee Studio. It's not watered down or too sweet.....it's just right. Oh, and I should mention that I never feel rushed to order here, even if I'm not sure what I want. I think its a combination of the pleasant ambiance and friendly staff here that makes me feel more comfortable than I do at other coffee shops. Mind you, there are only four other coffee places in Stevens Point (Emy J's, Starbucks, Cafe 27, & the Supreme Bean in the hospital lobby if you would count that) but out of this group, the Coffee Studio is my favorite. read more

I contemplated rating them with one star, but decided to give it two due to the coffee and the ambiance. My husband and I both went there for lunch and were quite disappointed. The ambiance was nice and the coffee was good, but the sandwiches and soup we ordered were quite bland, the guy who was making and serving the food seemed really angry and inconvenienced by the customers (I'm not sure, but I think he may have been the owner? I'm not sure; he's a tall guys with light hair). The worst part was that after our food arrived, I saw the guy sneeze into his hands and then proceed to touch a sandwich without washing his hands. If the blandness of the sandwich was not enough to force me to stop eating it, that certainly grossed me out enough to just leave. I will never go back. read more
