Christine Hill is AMAZING!…read more To be honest, I had no idea where Christine's process was going with my hair, even after we had a lengthy conversation about what I was looking for as a result. I even joked with her, "I'm not going to want to shave my head after this, am I ?". Yes, a joke but not having gone to a professional salon in several years...a joke not a joke? I'm 64 with a lot of grey that in the past, I cut/colored myself... Suffice it say, it was damaged, brassy, and had a hard demarkation from the grow out. I put blind faith in Christine today and once she was through, I almost couldn't believe it. Not only did she listen and pay attention to our initial conversation, it was Obvious that she absolutely knows what she is doing and has been in the industry long enough to show it. Christine is very personable, easy to talk with, and is a real person with nothing to prove. I can't say enough about Christine as a person, and the results of her work with my hair is just a snippet as to her overall talents. After explaining the stylist cut one side of my bangs and put 2ish foils in my hair at this point I asked to use the restroom because I felt unwell all of a sudden. I was only in there for about 5 minutes. Enough time to allow the unwell feeling to pass. When coming out of the restroom all the hair stylists were gathered at the front desk talking until they saw me and got very quiet. I felt intimidated and that it was very rude. Quite unprofessional if you ask me. At this point my hair stylist came up to me and said she wasn't going to be continuing with my appointment and that I still have to pay for the all services I scheduled for. Not even asking if I was okay or felt well enough to continue. No concern or compassion for how I was feeling. It felt very cold and money hungry. I was fine and able to continue the appointment, but she already made her mind up about me and that she was going to cancel the appointment.She then rinsed my hair out and cut the rest of my bangs to make it even but my hair was still wet when I was directed to the front desk to pay for the services I ordered but, again, did not receive. She then said when I was feeling well I can come back and reschedule another appointment (which would mean paying AGAIN) Leaving with wet hair was humiliating. I have never been treated so poorly. Here's their policy (copied from their website) Cancellations - A minimum of 48 hours is required to reschedule or cancel an appointment. There is a rebooking fee if the cancellation is done within the 48 hour window. Deposits - Some services require a non refundable deposit prior to booking. Pricing - Prices are based on stylists experience and are subject to changes. Damaged or misplaced belongings - We are not responsible for items left behind or for damaged clothing/jewelry due to a salon service. A robe will be provided at your request to protect clothing. Refunds - Due to the nature of the business, we do not offer refunds on services rendered. It wasn't a cancellation. I didn't pay a deposit. What they charged me was not a "change due to the stylist's experience" I'm not asking for a refund on services rendered. The stylist chose to cancel the appointment. The stylist charged me for what I initially scheduled the appointment for and left me with wet hair. To top it off I wasn't feeling well. I then called to express my dissatisfaction with my experience in hopes that it would somehow be made right. I was told that just this once they would offer me an appointment of their choosing and that I could not be late. No grace, just this is what you get. Take it or leave it. I accepted this "oh so gracious offer" simply because I didn't want to just waste 356 dollars. Of course as I was on my way to the appointment I was held because of a car accident. I then called Max and Ro to explain the situation but because they were overbooked there wasn't room for being late. I was FIVE minutes away. Their reply? Okay we will cancel your appointment. I asked if they could get me in at another time. I was told no. That was it. That was my chance. They didn't have to help me. What hurts the most is how dismissive the experience felt. I expected to be treated with care and respect, but instead I walked out feeling unseen and taken advantage of. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and remembers that clients deserve to feel heard and appreciated, not dismissed and disrespected.

I've…read morebeen going here for a few years to see Blake for standard cuts and highlights, and have always been happy with the results and my experiences there. For my last appointment I was ready to do something much more fun that I have been wanting to do for years, take it shorter and do a bright fantasy color. There was a small mix up for the booking (first time ever) and there shouldn't have been enough time to get everything done, but Blake and the team (even the owner!) stepped up to make it happen and still took great care of the other clients there. They even got me out the door in time to make an appointment I had after. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since! I love this salon and the team, and highly recommend them. P.S. I really appreciate their policies that keep the salon a relaxing experience, it's so nice to know that every time I go there it's going to be like going to a spa instead of a carnival or daycare. They are so conscientious about their clients needs, including sensory overload and/or stress reduction. I wish more businesses understood the importance of this (even if for just certain spaces or hours of operation).

Anyway, the first photo is a screenshot of what I wanted. I saved for months to make this possible as a Mother's Day gift for myself after having my 3rd child and needing some self care. The second photo is what I got. I spoke up and said it was too light and looked nothing like the photo I showed them. I was told that I could've been more clear (I showed them a photo???) and that the lighting in the photo is off??? Anyway, someone more senior came to help my stylist "fix" it. The third is what I got after returning the next day for them to fix it. It's terrible. Not at all what I wanted. And that streak in the middle... ugh. Anyway. I'll be having my cousin cut my hair because after all their attempts to "fix it," my hair is so dead and tangles so easily. They destroyed my hair and made me feel worse. Yes, I couldn't told them I still didn't like it. Here's why I didn't - they charged me significantly MORE when "fixing it" because of the supplies they had to use - no acknowledgement that it came out differently than intended nor an apology.
