I went in to find an extension hose for a kitchen faucet my Dad and I were installing in my home. Customer service is non-existent. The sole reason for going there, was previous positive experiences of my Dad's along with our wanting to get some extra TLC from a smaller, local shop. Not only was the guy indifferent, we ended up feeling we didn't know what we were asking for or whether what we needed even existed. We ended up going to Lowe's. We asked someone for help and she knew immediately what we needed, led the way, and handed it right to us. We were in and out in minutes; plus felt so relieved we could complete our project. Not sure about my Dad, but I've not been back their since. We often speak (and actually laugh) about the experience there. So, guess something did come out of it: a good laugh!

It's huge and was comparable to other mirrors I was pricing before. The guy who was working was super helpful and was able to pack up my mirror for my trip back to Virginia for me. Definitely check out for not just the tiles, but also the other offerings they have (little bowls, coasters, mirrors, mugs, glass cups, etc...).

They have decided to send me a new sign to my new address. It was a very nice surprise as I had never expected to see it again. I am very grateful that they are replacing it. I would now definitely do business with them again and I learned a valuable lesson when using PayPal to definitely double check the auto fill information that they provide to retailers. (Previous review) I ordered a custom address sign and used PayPal to pay for it. We moved 3 weeks after ordering the sign but figured we would get tracking info and would be able to pick it up once delivered. Apparently they sent it a few days after we moved but never sent us tracking info. After waiting 6-8 weeks I called Kiva Lighting to find out why it was taking so long and they said they had shipped it a month ago. I went back to my old address and it was not there. No neighbors had found it and neither did the rental management company taking care of the property. Kiva said it's PayPal's fault. PayPal said it was kivas fault. Now I'm out $135.00 and I have NOTHING to show for it. I went back to Kiva after trying to fight it through PayPal and they offered to replace it at a 25%discount which would still be over $100 more than what I already spent. I am so beyond frustrated with both this company and PayPal.

I called their number no answer all 3 times. Then i emailed 4 times and someone named Sonia stated she was sorry but it's now Out Of Stock... what? Then without asking me if I wanted a different style they refunded me without any help. Yes I wanted a different style so now I had to place my order all over again. She said she would check on the status and never replied back. Since July 7th...I have emailed and called them 6 times each. Very bad customer service. They will probably resound in another 20 days and tell me that one is Out Of Stock too. Nice items but that does not outweigh the horrible customer service.

I gave them the same order and they gave me a delivery date. I was skeptical after my last experiences. I got a call from Pat's when the doors arrived on time. Went to pick them up and they were beautiful. No footprints, no beat up edges, simply a beautiful set of doors. Pat's team loaded me up, end of story! They do not sell doors, cabinets or lumber. They only sell all hardware, tools, stains and glues. I am no carpenter by any means, I removed a damaged drawer slide and took it with me. I was greeted right when I walked in and had my new parts about 3 minutes later. I love the fact that the staff here were very knowledgeable and friendly, if I didn't stay to take pictures for my Yelp review, I would've been in and out in under 5 minutes. Service was great and the prices were comparable to the big box home improvement stores. I think I spent an extra dollar here. I'll be back for sure and I totally recommend T J Hardware for any maintenance or remodel supplies.
