Every aspect, every detail of this show was so well thought out and phenomenal with all of the original songs. I love how they gave the original Jurassic Park characters even more character depth. Please remember this is a shared space so when you come in the building they'll tell you which room to go into. The restrooms are non-gender so the doors just say stars and urinals. Drinks are available at the bar once again and outside the space of the comedy show.

There is a QR code on each table to order food and drinks, including mocktails. The staff delivers directly to your table before and during the show. Keep in mind that at a certain point alcoholic beverages are ceased. I ordered 'My Girlfriend Isn't Hungry' basket of waffle fries tossed in Parmesan, Truffle, Parsley and Rosemary. They were DELICIOUS! Served piping hot and enough to share. The staff is superb! From arrival to departure they made sure all patrons were well satisfied and asked how we enjoyed the show. Comedian Michael Blackson was very funny as were the opening acts. Ambiance is very nice and not a bad seat. VIP costs a bit more but comes with front row seating. Be brave as you likely will be included in the act! Everyone took the ribbing in stride and the facility is clean and well organized. Merchandise is available for purchase and hostess gave me VIP passes for another show. The facility is available for rent and you can also hire some of the comics. It was my first time patronizing Mic Drop Comedy but it definitely won't be my last!

They were definitely the highlights of the night. Unfortunately, the host didn't land for me. While some comedy clubs have hosts who do a great job warming up the audience, this one didn't seem to read the room. He repeatedly made jokes about being taken advantage of as a little boy in the Boy Scouts and despite the audience clearly not responding he continued with the bit. It made for an uncomfortable start to the show. The biggest disappointment however was the service. Our waiter showed very little interest in providing good service. Our food arrived cold and we needed silverware but she never came back to check on us. On top of that the only water we were initially offered was Liquid Death which I personally don't drink. Thankfully, the woman at the front of the venue was incredibly accommodating when I went over to talk to her and brought both my friend and me regular water. Her helpfulness was appreciated and stood in stark contrast to the service we received at our table. Overall I'd probably only come back if there was a comedian I was really excited to see. The performances themselves were great but the dining experience significantly lowered the overall quality of the evening. With better service it would have been a much more enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Many show up early and start the line that winds around the building so be ready for that. Rain, shine or snow! Haven't ordered any food here through all the concerts we've been to but have purchased a few cocktails and beers and the prices are reasonable for a venue like this. Cheaper than an arena that's for sure! The lights and sometimes the pyro that is allowed here is top notch. Mixed with the sound that rocks your chest (depending on the band of course), you get your money's worth. All of the ones we've been too have "gone over the specified time". Whatever that means, we're enjoying it. Whether it's the FIlmore's doing or the band's doing by feeding off of the crowd's energy, we'll always stick around longer!

We started out with Happy Hour at The Fillmore Detroit Bar for food and a refreshing drink. The bar is the former State Bar. It is a cool place to chill and the service was very quick. I had a Watermelon Lemonade Riffresher, chicken tenders and fries. It was an excellent venue for us to hear from author Kamala Harris to talk about her new book, 107 Days. She was delivering a message on her short road to the presidential campaign and the state of affairs today that have many U. S. Citizens feeling emotionally hijacked....but I digress. This was a great opportunity to experience in such a beautiful venue. It truly reminded me of a more intimate Fox Theatre.

Our first experience with music Hall Performing Arts Center. What a delight…read more Downtown Detroit during the holidays is magical. The Music Hall is a big part of that magic. We arrived early for our Nutcracker performance in a Saturday evening and had no problems parking in the lot adjacent to the venue. Parking was $20 which was a good price for the area. Other lots were charging. $20-$30. We felt our car was safe and attended to. We then entered the Hall early and were allowed to walk around with few visitors. What a treat. The architecture is beautiful with so many details to view. There was a jazz lounge which looked like a nice place to hang out and socialize before a performance. The bathrooms were spotless. We then walked around the downtown and took in all the holiday lights. Truly beautiful. The downtown area is vibrant, busy and feels very safe to explore on foot. Our seats, center mezzanine, were perfect. The attendants were helpful. The carpets and chairs were clean. Our seats were comfortable. The auditorium felt intimate and cozy though big enough to accommodate a good number of people. I would have been pleased with any seat in the house. We loved the State Ballet of Ukraine's rendition of the Nutcracker. Perfect night and experience to begin the holidays.
