a variety of bottles of wine

This is a great place. I have only been once and it is clearly a "locals" kind of place, but I was feeling the love as a out of towner and a first timer. Bartenders Zach, Kirby, and Tyler are very congenial. You can tastings of wine and beer before you make a decision. Inside is spacious, but I love that outside covered porch. A food truck is there daily in the evening, but always check their schedule on the website. Can't wait to go back!

Even during COVID this place is amazing! The service has/is always spectacular. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about what is on tap and in stock. They offer a relaxed atmosphere where you feel welcomed all hours of the day. They have rotating taps so you're palate is always satisfied. It is also family friendly and great for large groups. Hopefully, their fun events will start back up soon.

Definitely had a mixed experience here. Some of the staff was great and friendly. One girl behind the bar was snippy and almost seemed annoyed by our questions about the beers being offered. The space itself is pretty cool. There are separate rooms that help keep the noise down and a nice patio area when the weather is nice. In addition to the taproom they also have a retail area with a huge selection. Kind of bummed we couldn't consume any of those beers in the taproom.

This is a great local place to stop by and get some brews! They usually have about 20 beers on tap, and then there's a large selection of different and unique beers that you can purchase in the coolers. Seriously, this is where I go when there's a weird, random beer that I want to try. They also have wine! The prices can be a little high, and it can get insanely crowded on some nights. There is parking in the back by the patio and outdoor area, though. The food trucks that are sometimes there have always been good, (special shout-out to "We Got The Beets"!) The place has always been clean, the staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable, and the fact that this place is family and dog friendly makes it all the more awesome.

Great, warm sunny day for a Chardonnay and a Edmund's Oast pils.

My favorite North Main watering hole with a beer board and wine menu that changes almost daily. Love sampling (just a little bit) all of the hearty stouts and digging into a new beer once in a while. Since I'm GF, I stick to the wine menu. These folks know their wine and offer a broad range of $20-$30 bottles. I love a wine that challenges my palate... Nothing better than rolling up at The Tap in the afternoon, grabbing a bag of Route 11 chips or some charcuterie from the cooler and settling in for a glass and a nosh. 650 different kinds of beer to choose from. 175 family vineyard wines. It will be your fave too.

    Board games are readily available.

I'm a fan of this business model. A long bar with craft beer/wine on tap, and rotating food trucks in the parking lot. We came on a night where Automatic Taco was the food truck, DELICIOUS! Loaded tacos are an understatement. The space inside is very cool, with long community tables, a hidden room with a shelf of board games, and a heated porch. Our party of four had a nice night at Community Tap!

Prices are a little steep on some items but overall a nice place to slide into for some nice beer and good conversation.

Great venue and great selection of beers on tap, but they will not pour pints. Only 14 ounce max. I haven't encountered this before

As always, if there's food truck in the parking lot, you can grab a bite and bring it in to a table to enjoy.

While visiting Greenville, my friend said we absolutely had to stop by this place because they were…read morethe only ones that carried one of his favorite beers. That surprised me a little--Greenville seemed to have plenty of liquor stores from what I saw online. When we walked in, we were instantly welcomed by the owner, who asked if we needed help finding anything. The shop itself has a bit of a speakeasy vibe. Up front, there's a store packed with an impressive selection of beers from around the world. Honestly, if you can think of it, they probably have it. I grabbed a 4-pack of Banana Foster (wish I could remember the brewery's name). Head toward the back, and a hallway leads you into the taproom. I sampled about six or seven different beers, even asking the bartender for the house favorites. Most of them didn't quite hit the mark for me--but I think that's more about my own picky palate these days than their offerings. The bartender was great, though, and the tasting was very reasonably priced (less than $20, if that). Like most beer spots, I'm sure their taps rotate regularly, so the lineup will be different next time. Overall, a cool spot with an incredible selection, and I'll definitely swing by again next time I'm in the area.
