Maple just a couple of blocks from the Hartville Flea Market is a huge thrift store. Open Monday through Saturday, Hartville Thrift is always fun and worth the time. The first thing to check out is the video screens which show the colors of the week: one is 50% off and the other is 99 cents; even without those colors prices are very reasonable, mens shirts are $3, sportscoats are $8, suits are $10. It is also worth checking out the items on the silent auction as you enter the main room, there are usually some cool more expensive items and large collections available. In the main area you will find a ton of clothes, jewelry, shoes, art, toys and assorted other stuff. In the room to your right as you enter there is kitchen items, knick knacks, Christmas items, electronics, sporting goods and more. You will also usually see a couple of tiered carts with items just being brought out, just be ready for people to swarm to see what is available. Further back and further to the right is an area with furniture, hardware, lamps and garden stuff. I have found all kinds of values at Hartville Thrift, from Suit jackets, shirts, masks, figurines and most of those were very cheap. In addition the staff is great, they are friendly and helpful. The selection changes not just daily but can be supplemented at any time. There are going to be times when you don't find anything, other times when you come away with a very nice haul. If you are interested in a unique thrifting experience, it is well worth the trip to Hartville to check out Hartville Thrift Shoppe. With most of the major Thrift Stores reducing the discounts they offer and raising prices it is refreshing to still have a place with a great assortment and offering real values.

Received a Christmas gift of a pair of Nikes with the WVU logo on them but they did not fit. We…read morecalled the number from where they were ordered from and they told us to go to this location to exchange or return them. We were told that they were in stock and we could try on a different size to make sure they'd fit. Once we got there, there was one other customer infront of us with one person behind the counter. Once the salesman was done helping the other customer he started helping us. We explained to him what the issue was and he was very helpful and polite. However, the shoe was not instock at that location and we weren't offered to try on a pair to make sure we got the correct size. I don't mean to say the salesman didn't do his job, the customer infront of us just kept butting in asking 50 million questions after the salesman was helping us. They did arrive at my home in less than a week and a lucky guess on the new size worked great.
