I frequently heard the staff making suggestions to people on what could be done if the boot they tried on didn't fit right, such as insoles, wider size, etc. I also liked that they weren't trying to steer anyone to their most expensive boots, they pretty much just left people alone until they needed help or asked for a particular size. After I tried on a pair I liked, I walked around the store for a bit. Huge collection of Carhartt clothes, jeans, jackets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc. It also looked like they carried about any accessory you would need for your footwear like boot oil, insoles, laces, etc. This is not the most convenient place for me to shop as it's about 45 minutes from where I live, but I'll certainly stop in from time to time, and definitely if I need more work shoes or boots!

The 2 ladies who run the store are knowledgeable about the uniform requirements for the area schools, which can be very diverse depending on the grade of your child, etc. The quality of the items has never been an issue, allowing me to give the clothes to others after a couple of years. They are always very helpful and friendly and the prices are certainly competitive. To me, this business exemplifies the concept of why we should "buy local".
