What is most special about Adélaïde is the genuine love she has for helping others in celebrating special moments in their life. It is so clear how invested she is in her work and how committed she is to her clients. She was incredibly well-planned and knew the locations we were shooting in well, but she also came up with amazing shot ideas on the spot as she was inspired by things that were around us. When our final photos came in (which for the record, was SO fast-- she had our photos back to us 1 month after our wedding!), we were blown away by ALL that she captured! Beyond shots of us and our families that so beautifully captured the essence of us and our feelings on that day, she got so many other amazing shots. She captured the venue and all the details of the day amazingly well and got the best candid shots of all of our guests. I have had so much fun sharing these photos with our friends and family and they have been thrilled to get such special pictures of themselves from our wedding day. However when it came time to pick our wedding photographer, we were not limited by location. We spoke with many photographers all over the country and looked at countless websites. After exchanging emails and conference calls with Terry & Maike, we just knew Gruber Photographers were the right fit. It wasn't until we met Maike (and her assistant Julia) in Positano, Italy a few days before the wedding that we knew how right we actually were. They worked so incredibly hard and never seemed to even take a breath. Every one of our guests commented on how professional and hardworking they were. With such a small group of people (only 16!), they fit in seamlessly over the 3 days of wedding festivities. Demanding and take charge when necessary (which is occasionally needed with our families!), they were always in search of the perfect shot and in fact did capture them all! (4) they provided a couple of the photographs, within hours, so my son could have a couple for social media.
