I cannot praise Nicole more for her amazing cheese making classes! Our company did an outing here…read moreto make Burrata, Mozzarella, and Goat Cheese and had a blast. Nicole makes sure to explain everything thoroughly, including the history of each cheese. Makes everything super interesting. We also included a grazing board and they were all so delicious. We were eating, making cheese, and having fun the entire time. Parking is a bit difficult so we just did ride share there. The place is a bit hard to find but it's a office room inside a parking gate. I am definitely go back with friends and family the next chance i get. I hope this place doesn't get too famous so Nicole still has time left for us! haha Thank you for everything Nicole!!

Nicole led a virtual Chevre-making class for my colleagues and I and it was a blast! Pretty awesome…read moreto be able to enjoy such a fun, informative and highly rewarding (we did get fresh cheese out of it after all) experience via Zoom. We were provided with our very own cheese-making kit ahead of the class (with immersion thermometer, cheesecloth and straining basket included) and super detailed instructions to replicate the recipe at home in just 10 minutes. Worth to note that the cheese culture packet that came with our kit was enough to culture an additional 3 quarts of milk beyond the one we prepped, too. Nicole was lovely - she answered all our questions, and gave us pro cheese seasoning/paring and gifting tips. Would highly recommend, especially for large-group/team bonding events. Looks like everyone will be getting fresh cheese this Christmas :-)

PROS: -So much selection and specialty foods…read more -FREE Parking lot across the street -Clean Bathrooms- not in the store, but on the premises. -Friendly and knowledgeable staff. -Fresh produce and flowers- locally grown! KEEP IN MIND -It can get BUSY- depending on the time of day and week -with that said, even with the parking lot, it may be full and you'll have to find street parking. -Considering how crowded it can get, navigating around the store can be a little tricky, esp. with a cart. -It can a little overwhelming especially if it's your first time there AND it's busy. I always love coming here! But I go when it's not peak hours bc when it's busy, it's like Costco, so be mentally prepared AND patient- with other customers and the staff.

Everything tasted fresh and comforting--exactly what you want from hot pot. Generous portions and price was decent as well!! The service was very friendly, which made the experience even better. Staff was very friendly and attentive when you need something. All the tasty pots we have visited had hit or miss servers but not this one!! Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone craving noodles soup!!!

I come to this place quite often but never left a review, so I decided to write one this time…read more The food is decent, but personally I prefer the Concord location -- somehow the food there tastes a bit better to me. My favorite is the Lamb Hot Soup, and today my husband ordered the Curry Flavor Hot Soup -- he said it was delicious. For the service, I have to say the lunch service wasn't great this time. We had to grab most things ourselves. I could've asked the staff, but since our table was behind the counter and the staff didn't seem very friendly or smiley, I didn't really feel like calling them. When we came during dinner time before, the service was much better. I like that this place has a reward program, and the restaurant itself is pretty clean -- including the restroom. Overall, it's okay. Not bad at all, but I do hope they can improve their lunch service.

Some standouts were the otoro nigiri, eel skewer, miso black cod, the pesto udon, as well as the sweet potato creme brulee. But we ordered way more food and all of its delicious!! Had dinner at Kiraku last week. It was a big disappointment!…read more During the pandemic, my husband and I found this restaurant for take out. Everything we ordered was delicious. One of my husband's favourites was the fish porridge. However, after a few times, they decided not to make it anymore. It's a shame cause it was their best dish even though my husband normally doesn't like porridge, he thinks they made the porridge so good that he can give it an exception! Fast forward to last week, we decided to give Kiraku a try again - dine in. I noticed that they have quite a strict policy in reservation (if we don't show up, they automatically charge a fee and we have to spend at least $50 pp like other high end restaurants which I guess it's ok because it's hard to do business nowadays). When we arrived, we were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was very small, obviously all the tables were very small as well. There was hardly any room for the wait staff to walk/move around and my head/arm got hit a couple of times by their elbows. That was not the worst though. The place was so loud that we could not hold a conversation. I felt that my ears and my head were hurting by all the noise from people talking and the sound of the dishes clinking. However, that still was not the worst! We looked at the menu, my husband doesn't eat raw stuff (I did tell him that they have lots of cooked items). I asked the wait staff what kind of fresh sashimi they have since I have a craving. She told me they have blue fin tuna. I was so excited so I placed that order. Here comes the break down of my disappointment: 1. Blue fin tuna, turned out that they actually didn't have. So I had to choose either salmon sashimi or torched mackerel. I don't like to order salmon sashimi since most of the salmon restaurants serve is not wild caught so the farm raised salmon often tastes fishy. I decided to order the torched mackerel at the wait staff suggested. It was a big mistake....the mackerel was so fishy that I couldn't finish the whole thing. My husband ordered the chicken karaage and the snow crab with torched cabbage which were only ok, we also had the tender beef tongue skewer which was good, black cod miso which my husband said I cook that one much better, we also had jumbo squid and gyoza which were only ok. Our dessert was probably the best - the sweet potato brûlée. We have decided to scratch this restaurant off our dining list because the food was just not good enough for us to give it another try! I guess I am spoiled by the excellent Japanese food in Singapore, Japan and Australia, this place just cannot compare to any of the places we had but I am sure I can find other better Japanese restaurants in California!
