Central Park Conservatory Garden 1233 5th. Ave. New York, NY 10029 There is a fancy garden located on the upper east side of Central Park. Immerse yourself with the breathtaking surroundings of three European style gardens and pergola within this conservatory. You won't need to search very long for a variety of multi colored flower beds, fountains and sculptures. #centralparkconservatorygarden #centralparkconservancy #frenchgarden #italiangarden #pergola #englishgarden #flowerbeds

The Mr. and I took a guided tour with Claudia on a rainy Saturday. Out of the 16 people who signed up, we were the only couple who didn't bail. Boy, those people sure missed out. The Conservatory Garden is a paradise in the oasis that is Central Park. There is fragrant blooming plants, fountains, pretty ironwork, an English garden, French garden, and an Italian garden to enjoy. If I was a local this would be my 'go to' place to walk, meditate, or read.

Such a gorgeous garden in Central Park. Absolutely beautiful fountains and flowers. All able to be visited for free. Bathroom was also not bad. A must visit place in Central Park for sure.

Six acres of a landscaped garden with flowers and foliage that transports one to heaven. The Conservatory Garden is located on 105th and Fifth Avenue and is a quick trip by bus or subway. Opened in 1937, this garden is visited by both residents and tourists. Large black iron gates open up to a visually enchanting green oasis. Flowers, flowering trees abd a small fountain spouting water are all highlights here. Benches are for more relaxation which Age and I did on our visit here yesterday. We soaked in all the beauty and left refreshed. This garden is free and has restrooms for both women and men and a water drinking fountain.

Come over and enjoy the new Spring blooms! (See newest pics.) Love the Conservatory Garden! Once discovering the Northeast corner of Central Park years ago, it has been one of my favorite places to visit - especially the Conservatory Garden from March to October! Every week from the beginning of spring to when the leaves fall in autumn, the plants, flowers, and colors evolve providing something new to see. The Conservatory Garden is a gem that (fortunately) less tourists make it to. While absolutely haven't been a flowers-type of guy, this park feature mesmerizes me. Now living nearby, I like to take advantage of this special place, however a staggered renovation has been underway. Composed of 3 unique sections dating back to 1937, a French, Italian, and English sections plus the Crabtree Allées dividing these sections all fully available! The French section, with a central fountain surrounded by a more open space bordered by flower beds and trellised entrances. It now offers a palette of Spring Tulips! The just reopened Italian section holds a pergola and fountain. The English section, the southernmost part approximately between 105th and 103rd Streets, contain the largest flower varieties of the three. It holds the "Secret Garden" Fountain, an idyllic place to sit with its popular birdbath, that at one stage later in the season typically contains koi. Now, it features Spring blooms including Saucer Magnolia and various Daffodils! Like every part of the Conservation Garden, it's well maintained with the coordinated continual blooms and colors creating a visual symphony across those 8 months. Access is through the wrought iron gate at the southern tip of the park's Harlem Meer adjacent to E. 106th St. and Fifth Ave. entrance, an iron gate on 5th Avenue at approx. E. 103rd St. or you can enter the English part from its own entrance, closer to the "Girl's Gate" of the park at E. 102nd St. and Fifth Ave. If you make it over here, also take a walk along the adjacent Harlem Meer lake with its Boathouse that functions as the Dana Discovery Center, an environmental education center and info point. While the Conservatory Gardens features the flora, Harlem Meer in a more naturalistic setting has the fauna, such as turtles, birds, fish, etc. The brand new Davis Center at the Harlem Meer also has its long-awaited Opening Day celebration on April 26th, with programs on its new Harlem Oval public green and its state-of-the-art Gottesman Pool opening in June!

The Conservatory Garden is one of my favorite places to find Peace. I'm happy to spend time here year round. I always bring friends and relatives to see the garden. It's especially beautiful in the spring! The fountains are beautiful and there's plenty of places to sit. It's a great place of refuge from the sidewalks and street traffic! If you visit Manhattan make sure you visit the Conservatory Garden.

Beautiful scenery & a peaceful walk that seems like they're never ending! I lived in New York City my whole life and I recently decided to walk and get 10,000 steps and I def did with just half the park!

Most wonderful free garden in NYC! Gorgeous variety of flowers and so peaceful. Wish it was more active in the winter.

There is central park, then there is THIS central park. Conservatory garden is My favorite section. Beautiful, serene & not a lot of crowd. Although it is still undergoing contruction it is still worth a visit. Last week on our visit the tulips are blooming. The fountain in the middle garden by the main gain was not on, & the almost a third of the garden was fenced off for construction. I can't wait for all the work to be done so that i can visit & appreciate this beautiful garden in all its glory!

Lovely conservatory! Wonderful tulip garden and other sections of flowers, quaint little pond area. Very enjoyable!

The Conservancy Garden is a small garden located on the NE corner of Central Park and has a huge gate as a front entrance called the Vanderbilt Gate. There are north and south gardens that have many benches for people to sit and look at the many sculptures and fountains. There's a vast difference between the hustle and bustle of New York City and this peaceful garden just next to it. It was nice to walk around and take in the sights and sounds of nature.

Concrete jungle for sure, NYC is doing just fine with green spaces- especially Central Park where you can explore every square inch of it and still find something new each time- such as this beauty. Since we weren't far off, coming to Conservatory Garden on E. 105th St & 5th after our Mother's Day dinner, was a cinch. Despite some sections being closed off for renovations, everything else worked fine. This garden is small in my opinion- but boy, does it have a great punch of lushness with a really cute intimate feel. We enjoyed the Conservatory. It's an attractive zen kind of place to celebrate Mother's Day, take in a stroll or grab a bench for a quick bite.

Overall rating: 5 It's been so hard coming here since it's so far for me (live in deep Brooklyn). I wish I got over that years ago, because this place is a must visit for any local or tourist. I actually like that it's far from the crowds & feels very peaceful. Part of the garden was closed to construction, but will definitely become a regular moving forward. You can come read a book, sit on a bench to people watch or just stare at all the flowers for a really long time. Highly recommend.

But Madison Square will always be my favorite. It's kept fairly clean and is a nice size. Mostly for the working professionals and students in the area, it's an awesome spot to eat lunch, with a great food selection in Flat Iron. It's home to the OG Shake Shack, which stands there til this day. There is also an awesome dog park there. This park is great at all times of the year, so don't hesitate to go now.

Besides that, I never paid much mind to the park, especially in light of the fact that it's not in my stomping grounds. Nevertheless, I had just finished brunching nearby and since it was such a gorgeous day out, I decided to take a walk through the park and check it out. MSP is not large - the center of it is a large green space with paths on the perimeter that contain walking paths and benches. In addition to the Shake Shack, there's also a small seating area nearby where you can sit and eat, or just hang out. The park is ideal of people watching, eating your lunch, or just walking around a space that contrasts the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. Because of the weather, it was a little crowded but still pleasant. Overall, MSP is fine - it's not worth coming to unless you're in the area IMO, but a pleasant spot nonetheless.

We were on our 4th game of 5 on 5 on this slanted, slippery court with double rims as the Midtown skyline looked over us. We had gone 3-0 and already on wobbly legs but wanted one more to really push ourselves to exhaustion and be WHOOPED. A group of 5 17 year olds showed up and I was lowkey like damn I don't wanna play these little kids for our last game but whatever, they got next. We were going back and forth, and to be fair they were actually pretty good but just too frail to give us any problems. At 5'10 174 lbs, I'm a BIG guard. I'm left handed, but shot a right handed floater fading to my right as I'm trying to get better. If you can hit a weak hand floater on the run you will be tough to stop. I bricked it and this little 17 year old kid goes "that's a TERRIBLE shot" looking at me dead in the eyes. Like bro y'all are losing and you suck why you talking? He woke me up and I started actually trying really hard and lowkey busting their ass... but tbh normally I'm not even that good. It was just one of those days where everything was falling. I hit a 3 and yelled out "THAT'S A LAYUP." I drove hard left, euro stepped and hit a tough finish through 2 and yelled "I"M TOO BIG," while flexing. I switched onto little homie and he took a terrible stepback shot after I turned him 3 times and bricked it. I just whispered to him "I don't even gotta say nothing after that one it speaks for itself" which really pissed him off. Then I hit the game winning 3 and did the Dame wave to him as he walked off the court PISSED as hell. I sat down and then he got the courage to say "STOP TALKING SO MUCH" while he put his hand together to mimic me YAPPING. I almost stood up and said "HOW BOUT U GET WIN?" But then I realized I'm a grown ass man and there is absolutely no reason to be jawing at this little kid on a beautiful Friday in New York City. I just kind of laughed at myself and asked what is wrong with me lol. All in all, these runs were kind of weak and this court is in horrendous condition. The court on the westside highway is still my favorite in the city. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
