As I love cooking and taking cooking classes, I found this spot relatively close to me to take a class. The theme was - Caribbean - and I had an enjoyable time! The class was very intimate, this time (about five of us), although it can be up to 14 people. Our instructors Katie and Shelia were amazing! Katie was very detailed in presenting the recipes and making sure everything was to our liking. We made Puerto Rican Shrimp and Rice soup, Jamaican Jerk Pork Tenderloin, Caribbean hot sauce, Island Rice & Peas, Tropical Slaw, Fried Plantain, and Toasted Coconut Ice Cream. For drinks, we were presented with water, tea, wine, beer, and Run Punch! The Rum Punch we made ourselves and it was on point! I would recommend this spot to take cooking classes as they offer a variety of different options. I definitely look forward to returning!

Cute place. Went there for our anniversary. The hosts are great, knowledgeable and friendly. Pasta was the theme for the day. Homemade tortellini was course 1 stuffed with walnut arugula pesto sauce. Since I was the chef I will rate the course 5* The second course was fettuccine alfredo and bow tie pasta w/ lamb ragu. Sides of garlic bread and arugula salad finished off the course. It was all very good. If you sign up for the pasta meal be ready for your nap or marathon the next day. The salad was a tad bit lemon forward. Other than that real good. Cannolis for dessert. The cannoli shells were premade and we piped in the filling. Real good experience and great date or celebration idea.

What an incredible night! We had the best time learning how to cook a french night 3 course meal. The food was incredible, and the chefs made it so easy and fun. I can't wait to do this again as a date night or even a girls night out for Moms. It was truly a lovely atmosphere, incredibly kind chefs and staff and the food was absolutely something we could do at home together.

Easily one of the best date nights I've had in years. Our class host was STEPH! If you wonder why her names is in all caps, it's because she's she was amazing! Such a class act and I love her laugh. We went the weekend prior to Mardi Gras so the menu was Cajun! Jambalaya, Cajun crawfish bread, hurricane drinks and homemade ice cream with bananas foster! Great great menu. I enjoyed the shape of the counter bar that allowed all the people in attendance to face Steph while she was hosting. I loved that there was a dining table for us all to gather and I loved the flow of doing the appetizer, main course, drinks and dessert. Steph has a partner helping with this so basically, while you cook, the dining table is being prepared and when you are eating, the cooking space is being prepared and so on and so forth. Great work flow! I have been to one other cooking class and I felt a little rushed and overwhelmed as we pretty much cooked it all at once and never actually sat down to eat. It was more of a standing bar table type of deal. So this was a great change! Location was so cute. Close to town but not quite there. The area is adorable and the storefront itself was just a classic take on farmhouse. I really enjoyed this experience and I will absolutely go could. Be looking to spend about $180-250 on date night. This includes all the food and drinks which you would easily spend that if not more at a restaurant for all that we got minus the experience. For the clean freaks, there's a wash basin and Steph made sure we all wore aprons and removed them for restroom breaks and washed after every interaction as the food is shared! You won't regret choosing this for a date or even a fun activity with friends.

My husband and I did a cooking class here for a date night and it was so much fun. It's a whole group cooking class and you eat family style with the other students in the cooking class, but the experience was great from start to finish. Everyone contributes together to make the meal a success. We were also served wine, coffee, and tea throughout the evening. Our meal... Starter - olives and cheese Appetizer - goat cheese crostini with candied pecans Salad - leafy green salad with fresh pears and apples Main course- short ribs, polenta, and brussel sprouts Dessert - chocolate mousse Highly recommended!

Strap on your aprons Dallas... it's time to get your hands dirty at the Cooking Class Meets Dinner Party in the Dallas Design District Our culinary instructor, Danielle, was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She guided us through the creation of a three course dinner and then we all enjoyed the dishes family-style by course. This was the PERFECT date night - romantic, delicious, and the little details did not go unnoticed. We embraced our roots at the ITALIAN TRATTORIA class - where we made Prosciutto-Wrapped Artichoke Hearts, Chopped Salad with Calabrian Chili Vinaigrette, Beef Braciole in Red Wine Tomato Sauce paired with Potato Gnocchi and finished the evening with a Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Raspberry Coulis!

My fourth cooking class with The Cookery! I was able to score seats to the very popular Pasta Perfecto class, and took my husband and mother in law. As usual I was in love with every single dish, a refreshing pesto tortellini to start, a lamb ragu and dill fettucine alfredo for the entree, and finally a delightful chocolate ravioli for dessert. Abby is a super fun and wonderful host. The entire experience is easy and stress-free especially because they handle the portions and cleanup for you! Wine pairings were on point. 100% I will be back again for one of their 30+ menus that I haven't yet tried.

Once you've participated in one cooking class, you've kind of been to them all, right? WRONG!! I entered The Cookery with that mentality and as a young, seasoned cook, I wondered if this would be worth my time. At the Cookery, Creating your delightful 3 course meal is honestly like cooking in the kitchen with your family; a medium sized dinner party, with fun stories and laughter exchanged. Every person in that room was pleasant to be around. It's like The Cookery handpicked everyone from the "nice people and positive vibes" club....wait....well why was my sister there? Kidding! Meghan S., I hope you're not reading this... Even with a class of 14 or 15, during this 3 hour event, everyone will have a part in creating a colorful, healthy, and delicious dish. Important info you might want to "know before ya go": -Beginners to experts, I promise you...YES, YOU....will learn something new. -Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. You'll be standing almost the entire time. Chairs are obtainable. -IF YOU'RE AN EXTREME "GERMAPHOBE"....These type cooking classes might not be for you. Everyone contributes to the meal and some might unknowingly brush their hand on their face or hair during the process, but the instructors were pretty efficient on encouraging lots of handwashing after these incidentals....(hunty, just pray all foreign bodies away; you'll be aight). -Bring your appetite and your appetite's appetite! So many leftovers! -You're emailed the ingredients and recipes to every plate made within 24 hours after class Now my pockets prohibit me from partaking in this type activity more than I would like, but trust this review, I wouldn't tell you anything wrong. :-) A thank you to the instructors for your enthusiasm and patience and I'll see you next time! Don't meet me there, BEAT me there!

So much fun! Cool little spot for intimate cooking class. Nice and cool inside. Staff were great. Food was delicious. Cute table setting! Fun for couple, friends, date, party idea. Interactive but not overwhelming. Courses are spaced perfectly. Menu was well thought out. Would definitely go again!

I ha e been wanting to take a cooking class for years!! But have never gotten around to it. My friend wanted to go to a cooking class for her birthday so upon researching there were a couple of options but we opted for this company. The staff here is amazing, upon arrival we were greeted with smiling faces, checked in and given a glass of wine as we waited. Once everyone was there we got right into the kitchen. Everything was very organized and we were able to try our hand at pretty much everything. What I liked was that we would make a course and then sit down at this gorgeous table and eat family style while the staff prepared the items for the next entree. Everything was delicious and the others in attendance were so nice and friendly which made for a really great time. The owner is very funny and very knowledgeable and gave us really great tips. Our two hours flew by and I was sad it ended. I had a blast and would recommend them to anyone!!

I bought this class as a gift for my boyfriend. We were extremely disappointed. Maybe we shouldn't have picked sushi, but something about eating the rice that the people next to us had their hands all over just didn't sit right with me. The instructor let someone add wasabi to the meat that everyone in the class was going to be using and then made it unbearably spicy, (I have a high spice tolerance) which ruined some of the limited rolls we made. Overall, we left thinking that we wouldn't be eating sushi for a long time after this class. We also didn't enjoy that we didn't get to make everything ourselves, everyone had a different job and we were limited to only doing one thing. They were also a little stingy with the beer and sake. Fun concept and probably a lot better with different types of classes, but we were really disappointed

The cookery is such a fun experience, love this for a date night! We went to the cocktail party class. We got to make small bites & dessert along with 5 cocktails. You get all the recipes for everything you made afterwards as well! Highly recommend

His ability to engage our large and diverse group while making it a fun and memorable experience for all was extremely impressive. Even people who normally roll their eyes at these sorts of activities were participating and having a great time. It didn't matter if you were an experienced chef, a novice, a senior leader, or a newbie on the team....everyone loved it! His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). On the way there, some people were complaining about how far away it was, but THE MOMENT chef tre started talking with everyone there was zero additional mention of the drive (and it wasn't mentioned again a single time after the fact). Thank you chef Tre and team for an amazing night!

Everything was explained really well, and the instructors made the experience fun and easy to follow, even for someone who isn't a professional cook.
