I first heard of this cookie shop when my sister ordered custom cookies for her baby shower. The forest animals theme for her sugar cookie order was very cute. I had my mom order some cookies for my daughter's birthday and the cookies were gone by the end of the party. The kids loved the cookies. They were gone because they taste delicious! I decided to try them out a third time with a cookie order as a thank you present for some people and they literally delivered. I did pay the delivery fee and it was worth it. Of course the recipients loved the cookies. It is a little far to drive to this place, but worth the drive if you're in the area. My preferred cookie spot in the area. What I love most is the texture: they manage to get them perfectly thin while keeping the middle soft, with just that slight crispy crunch around the edges. Plus, they aren't overly sweet at all, and you don't get that dense, raw flour or heavy baking powder taste that so many other bakeries have. The shop itself is always spotless, and the staff is genuinely friendly every single time I walk in. I also love that they serve ice cream, which makes for an awesome treat. We always go late so it's never busy to get an ambiance. Their seasonal "Cookies of the Month" are so much fun to try. July's cookie of the month...the Strawberry Shortcake! 3.5 stars Attended the Frost-Tea Party ($35 per child) hosted by The Cookie Element. The setup was adorable with really cute balloon + table side decor. The event was held on the left side of the restaurant where they normally host birthday parties. There were several time slots available, but we chose the 4pm session, which seemed to be the most crowded since it was after school hours. The balloon displays, table decor, and backdrop was all nicely done. However, the event overall could have been better organized. - The 4pm session had too many kids (~around 24 + parents) making the space feel tight. - The "tea" (lemonade), cheese sandwiches, cream puffs, and fruit were already on the table at check-in, but there was no announcement to begin eating, so some families waited while others went ahead and started. - "Elsa" didn't make her entrance until about 15 minutes after the event began, which slowed down her meet-and-greet with each child. - During the sing-along, it seemed like Elsa and the host weren't coordinated--Elsa was looking around for someone to start the music. Overall, it was a fun experience for the kids, but the event definitely could have been run a bit more smoothly. read more

I was looking to order custom decorated cookies within a week's time and The Cookie Element was able to pull through on short notice! Their service and response time was timely, friendly and I really appreciated their prompt follow up in regards to my order. I ordered a dozen cookies in two designs and each design had a minimum order of 6 cookies. You provide the photo of what you would like your cookies to look like, and The Cookie Element tries their best to make your order as close as possible to the supplied image. While the process of ordering the cookies was friendly and straightforward, I was slightly disappointed with the overall look of the cookies. I had ordered Minnie Mouse cookies as well as a numerical 6 cookie and both didn't quite meet my expectations of what I was looking for. The cookie design still looked very nice and was beautiful overall, but the face of the Minnie Mouse cookie felt very flat and one tone as they used a single peach color for the face, and then used an edible black marker to draw the details of the face. In the photo I provided, Minnie's eyes were white and her mouth was a light pink color, but the same peach-ish color was used for both the eyes and mouth so the cookies didn't have as much depth as I had hoped for. As for the number "6" cookie, they did not cut a hole in the middle of the number, and instead used white icing, which in my opinion, gave the cookies an unfinished look as I initially thought they put white parchment paper on the cookie when I first picked up my order. Nonetheless, the design of the cookies was still spot on to the "inspo" photo I had provided, and I was very pleased with how they were able to replicate the design of what I was looking for (besides the coloring being off). If you're looking to order custom cookies, I would recommend to discuss and specify any details you may be looking for in advance to see if they can accommodate, instead of just providing an inspo pic and hoping it will meet your expectations. I only ordered the custom sugar cookies so I didn't get a chance to try any of the cookies on display in their store front, but everything looked delicious and I thought the periodic table cookie theme was a cute touch! read more

I'd never been (or even heard of) The Cookie Element, but I sure do know about them now and LOVE them! We pulled up and saw all the cookies in the store part of the place, so many to choose from and so unique and tempting. I purchased 2 Vanilla Bean Sugar and 2 Brown ButterToffee. They were so very fresh and perfect! They literally put Crumbl to shame. I'd choose The Cookie Element over Crumbl any day. The flavors!!! Whoa! They have seasonal flavors, S'mores, Blueberry White Chocolate, Hawaiian, Ice Cream Sandwiches (different flavors of ice cream), Dark Chocolate Cherry, Whopper Malt Ball Chocolate Chip, and those meringue cookies, oh my goooodness! There are standard flavors of cookies as well; Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Peanut Butter, etc. Seems some of the unique flavors change out every so often. They even make custom cookies! There are also bags of "day old" cookies by the cash register, they do not taste day old AT ALL, they are still so fresh and delicious... and heavily discounted. Ok, so I got distracted by the cookies. I'm here to really tell you about the cookie decorating class. It was everything I'd hoped it would be. We learned how to make those fancily decorated cookies to impress all our friends. The instructor was very in-depth and patient. They offer Parent and Me classes, and seasonal too. Check out their website for dates, many to choose from. I will definitely be back for one of those again, no doubt. The class was kinda pricey at $60/person, but you get all the knowledge and necessities to make beautiful cookies! Plus you get to take them home in a bakery box. Look at me all fancy with my cookies. So exciting. The class took about 2 hours and we had everything we needed plus a light meal and beverages, plus a Cookie Element dessert bar! I'm a huge fan!! Omg Wow The cookies are amazing delicious and some of the best I have ever had. We requested some custom cookies for a bridal shower and they turned out amazing and of course, since we were there, I had to get a cookie for myself, and it was delicious. Even tho the pink box cookie franchise has come to town, Cookie Element continues to be my favorite cookie shop ever since they opened. Employees have always been friendly, no matter what time of day. Their cookies are still baked fresh through out the day and I look forward to their seasonal flavors. I was prompted to stop by today for the Peach Cobbler cookie. It didn't have an evident taste of peach, it leaned more towards the cobbler topping, but it was still very good. I was able to attend their 1st decorating class on Valentine's Day @ 4 p.m. they had a few slots open. Been wanting to have a Galentine celebration w my girl friend. Asked her if she was available and it worked out perfectly. The instructor Lauren was really great at explaining the 2 different types of icing along w cookie decorating technique thoroughly. Made it really easy & enjoyable to decorate my Valentine's Day cookies. We were given a sheet to practice our shapes, lines for the 2 different icing on, Royal & Buttercream. I felt somewhat like a pro cookie decorated when leaving CE. Hehehe They offered beverages, light snacks (charcuterie board) & sweet treats...Cookie element scrumptious cookies. Amy, Sweet owner was there present, checking in and asking each individual if we'd like a drink, refill on our drinks along w any snacks. 2 days later and I'm still enjoying the cookies I decorated. The designer was super thorough and my vision definitely came to life. They did such a beautiful job simply from an Inspo photo that I sent and a consultation over the phone. Granted, the young lady who was helping me, was very polite and helpful, however, when I got to the counter to pay for my order, there were coupons at the front counter.
