Was in the area and looking for a sweet treat, luckily we found crafted! Service was very friendly, the owners were working the counter and did an amazing job! They had so many unique flavors we had to try some samples. I'm often disappointed with ice cream not having enough of the mix-ins or not enough flavor. Crafted ice cream was not lacking in either category, flavors were wonderful and had plenty of inclusions. We also got a shake and their cute ice cream fruit cup. Small, clean shop with several tables to enjoy your treats. Restrooms were nice and clean too!
I'm pretty much an ice cream snob and have tried every ice cream store in Orange County. Went here for the first time. The store has so many unique things such as the viral TikTok fruit salad ice cream and the popsicles. The flavors are unique. Our family had: White chocolate raspberry truffle, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, and sorbet. While we thought the flavors were on the sweet side, they also had an interesting aftertaste. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store itself was spacious and clean. But I prefer Blue Scoop and that's definitely a personal opinion.
There were a lot of choices here. The service was great and we were allowed multiple samples to help make our choice. It's clean and bright inside. No place to sit, so this is only a take away place. The ice cream is good and you can get it served in many ways from cone, cup, sundaes or shakes.
Two girls working behind the counter, both super friendly and inviting. The place was clean and spacious. The ice cream flavors were interesting, the only " classic" was vanilla bean. We ordered the vanilla bean and the strawberry shortcake. My wife sampled the banana pudding while I went to the restroom. She said it was delicious and really tasted like banana pudding. The strawberry shortcake was stellar. The vanilla bean was a bit underwhelming on its own, but I feel it would make for good affogato due to its consistency and mild sweetness. We'll be back, as they offer pawpsicles, so we can bring our pup.
Not only amazing ice cream made with real stuff! I had banana pudding ice cream that tasted just like .... Banana pudding. The boys had lemonade popsicles. It had a slice of lemon frozen into it. I hear the popsicles are going away to make more room for sorbets. Service was excellent. The woman helping us was friendly and informative. Great place with a constant flow of customers.
My mom got some was like 5.5 for a mini. She eats a lot of ice cream and said some parts were kinda melted and refrozen and the strawberry shortcake had bread in it which wasn't ideal.
This was our third time to Crafted Cone and it didn't disappoint. The flavors are always crowd pleasers with Oreo smore, Andes mint chip and strawberry cheesecake. The matcha today was ultra soft.. so melted faster than we could eat it. Also-- we were going to take it to go but was told the pints are only one flavor-- that was a big bummer as we'd love to be able to mix and match flavors. They also now have Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and the fruit popsicle ice creams-- for all us trendy folk. Their new picture wall is super cute and a great way to engage customers. The only downside is that it consistently has had sticky-dirty floors. Not my favorite thing walking out with my shoes making sticking noises.
We were at Chuck E Cheese when we spotted a sign that said "Crafted Cone" and searched it up to see what it was. A newish ice cream shop located in a small strip mall by Porky's pizza with raving reviews so we stopped in after dinner for a treat! 28 homemade flavors with 4 rotating flavors. 2 samples offered per person. Font of the menu board was a bit small and difficult to read. Opted for the double scoop ($8) with strawberry shortcake and rocky road. Someone else in our party got the single scoop ($5) which was also a decent size since you're able to get 2 flavors. I personally enjoyed the strawberry shortcake as it tasted pretty much like the bar which was my favorite growing up. Most of the flavors offered sounded delicious so it was hard to pick just two. Friendly and helpful service. Will definitely be back to try other flavors. Popsicles and pawsicles for the pups are also available!
We have had our eye on The Crafted Cone for a while to go try their Dubai chocolate cup. After a night out, we finally stopped by to give it a try. They are located on the southwest corner of Imperial Highway and North Rose Drive, in a small strip mall. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but on a late Sunday evening with many of the other businesses closed, there was plenty of parking available. We walked in at 9:15pm and it was nice to see a good crowd of people inside. The store is nice and bright and has some indoor seating. They have a nice display of yummy looking popsicles in front. There are also a few "pawpsicles" in there which are in the shape of pet paws which were cute. Next to the popsicles is a great selection of toppings. On the way to the register towards the back, you pass a good selection of different ice cream flavors. We already knew we wanted to share the Dubai cup, so I went ahead ordered it to go. I got a little sticker shock when I looked at the receipt and saw it was $18, almost $20 with tax. The gal at the register was very friendly, and quickly had our cup ready. It was nice of her to mention that she stacked it high and indeed it was a big, full cup. Apparently, they are always very generous with the serving size. We headed home and were anxious to try it. We both took our first bites and it was very good. The chocolate is very rich and obviously high quality. The strawberries were large and very fresh. They were almost a little too big. I think it would have been easier to eat if the slices were quarters instead of halves. There was a good amount of kataifi in the cup and it was nice and crunchy and tasted great. The pistachio crumbs on top were also nice and crunchy. I don't know if they were out of pistachio cream, but unfortunately our cup did not contain any at all so I can't comment on that. Although it is a little pricey, this is a big and filling dessert. The two of us were stuffed with a few inches left at the bottom of the cup which we finished the next day. In all fairness, Dubai desserts are usually pretty pricey everywhere. It would be nice if they had a smaller size option. Final rating 4.5 stars but rounded up to 5.0 since it was delicious. We will return to try their ice cream and popsicles next.
I love ice cream but it does have to be good, and this place is good! The ice cream is creamy rich and full of real flavors. I got the banana and the Oreo blueberry(weird combo but it works) My son got their viral mango pop and he instantly snapped a pic of it before devouring it and my mini Berne scarfed down her pumpkin Greek yogurt pupsicle ! Highly recommend
My husband and I were craving something sweet after dinner and stumbled across this spot. They offer plenty of the classic flavors, but since everything is handmade, the taste has a unique twist compared to your typical ice cream shop. The staff was super friendly and patient while we sampled a few options. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience!
Brand new place near the house. Not your basic ice cream. They make their own and all their flavors are created. Mom liked it so all good.
The most creamy and flavorful ice cream that Ive ever had! The flavor is not just about the ice cream being super sweet, but the ice cream tastes like the description! I ordered the Twix and it was so ridiculously creamy; had little pieces of chocolate and swirls of caramel. Also ordered the strawberry shortcake, and it tastes exactly like the ice cream bar! The server, it was really attentive, great energy and allowed us to try multiple flavors! The seating is limited, but the inside it's really nicely decorated, well lit and clean. read more

Girlfriend was recovering from cataract surgery and wanted ice cream. Checked yelp and saw the crafted cone had great reviews so that's where we went. Quite a few flavors as well as some non cone or cup options made our decisions difficult. I settled on salted caramel cookie dough and cookies and cream. My girlfriend went with triple fudge and peanut butter cup scoops. Ordered at the counter and our ice cream was hand scooped by a cheerful young lady. After she gave us our cups she rang up the order. Several tables inside the shop, so we sat and enjoyed our dessert. All 4 flavors were delicious. We each sampled the others order. Prices were reasonable, especially considering that the ice cream is made in house, super creamy and decadent. We will definitely be returning to try additional flavors in the future. Second visit here. Each time we've been met with super friendly service this time we got to meet Jonathan the owners, Karen I believe. She encouraged us to keep trying until we found something that we liked for the girls. They are finishing up their winter flavors and getting ready to start their Valentine's Day flavors. I tried their grinch sugar cookie and it tasted exactly like a sugar cookie. It was so good. My wife ended up going for the strawberry shortcake, which has it the exact flavors that the bar does. My girls opted for a vanilla and a Oreos cookies and cream. They were very friendly and let the girls pick out all their toppings, and then they made them into ice cream nachos. Plenty of little wafers as "chips" The owner even set aside a free little sample for my wife who was worried she was gonna miss one of the flavors before they rotate it out to the next flavor profile. That was an awesome little touch. My wife was super appreciative. The owner's husband makes all the ice cream fresh each day, I think I saw in one review his name is Ruben. The ice cream is always so flavorful. I had milkshakes the last time we came, and we didn't get through all of them. They were so rich and filling there was at least two milkshakes there for you. When I came during the Christmas season, the whole shop was done up for Christmas time. Now it's set up for Valentine's Day. They've got a Photo Booth wall that they do a really good job of decorating so you can get your pictures for the Internet while you're getting ice cream. The shop was playing fun music and very clean. Highly recommend you come by and grab a few flavors. read more

Wow!! There is so much to love about this place! Immediately upon walking in we were greeted with a smile. I was excited about all the unique flavors and the owner gave recommendations and I tried a few. Whole sampling we learned that it's a small husband and wife business. They make the ice cream fresh in the back and the quality shows. I decided to get the cookie butter and chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone. It was delightful. I could order this every time and be happy, although there are so many other flavors I want. It's probably a good thing I don't live to close. Everything about this shop is a win. Clean, kind people, quality. Love it all! We will be recommending to everyone we know! read more
Excellent customer service and a great selection of ice cream flavors and popsicles. Crafted Cone opened a couple months ago so I was looking forward to giving it a try and was glad to see a new dessert place open up in the Placentia/Brea area. Upon entering, we were greeted by one of the owners who was very friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the family-friendly environment, spacious indoor seating and wide selection of ice cream flavors. I love how they let you sample the flavors and I ultimately decided on a double scoop ($6.75) of "Cookie Dough" and "Coffee Bliss" both of which had generous chunks of mix-ins which I love for that added texture. The portion sizes were sizable and a reasonable value for the price. I definitely will be back to try some of their other flavors and love how they have 4 seasonal rotating flavors. read more

Excellent new Ice cream shop in the Brea/Yorba Linda area. Firstly, the customer service my family and I experienced upon our first visit was exemplary. So friendly and courteous. They have a great selection of ice cream flavors! The toughest thing was choosing which one to get. Our order included Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and Ferrero Rocher flavors, both of which were great! Their prices are very reasonable and the aesthetic of the shop is bright and welcoming. It was decked out for the holidays when we visited. We will definitely be back to try some more of their flavors! Highly Recommended!! read more

Service at The Crafted Cone was excellent. The ambience is so nice, very clean, and I loved the holiday decorations. The ice cream is the best! I got the Dubai Sundae, plus cotton candy and chocolate and they were sooo good!!! Ruben helped me and even offered samples; he was super kind and very nice. I couldn't leave without taking a picture with him. I wish I lived closer, but I will definitely visit every time I'm in the area. I highly recommend it hands down the best ice cream I've had! read more

Birthday cake bash with waffle cone on top, Single Twix cup, and mini cookie butter cup. Homemade ice cream, creamy and delicious. Toppings available as well. Also, really unique popsicles for humans and pets. Kids loved it, but also some more unique flavors for adult tastes as well. They also have a cute little photo op area in the store. It was super clean. Service was friendly and prompt. My only suggestion would be to add dipped waffle cones to the menu, but that's just a me thing... Will definitely be back! read more

A friend of mine highly recommended this ice cream shop, so we decided to give it a try. They suggested we try the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup before the season runs out--and I'm so glad we did! Wow, I was absolutely blown away. The strawberries were perfectly sweet and juicy, and the combination of pistachio butter and chocolate was to die for. The flavors complemented each other so well, creating a mouthwatering experience that I won't forget. If you're looking for something unique and delicious, this is a must-try before the season ends! read more

I stumbled across Crafted Cone when coming to Brea to do some shopping and I'm so glad I did! The first time we visited we were helped by the owner, super friendly guy that was very informative and helpful. I tried the strawberries and Oreo cookie ( Ah-mazing) and the Andy's peppermint ice cream (also great!). Today I returned and tried the Almond Joy and Banana cookies and cream, BOTH were SO SO GOOD! Definitely worth the 30 min drive! Shout out to the owner who shared they make their ice cream in-house and all the great flavors he and his wife create. Would definitely recommend! read more
Probably one of the better ice cream shops out there! The customer service was exceptional, and their ice cream was so good! We also tried the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. SO GOOD!!! Crafted Cone is located off of Imperial Hwy and Rose Dr. It is easy to locate and access. Parking is adequate. I'd seen photos of Crafted Cone's ice cream nachos and instantly had to have them . I'd also settled in for the night, so I sent my daughter out to get some. For that reason, I can't accurately rate the service or the store's ambiance. The ice cream nachos were exactly how I'd imagined them to be. Delightful wafer cone "chips" with 3 scoops of ice cream and drizzled/sprinkled with white chocolate sauce and white chocolate chips/dust. We chose cookie butter and dulce de leche ice cream. Both were creamy and delicious, but the wafer cone chips overpowered the flavor of both the ice cream and the toppings. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but it would've been even better if we'd chosen bolder flavors of ice cream. I absolutely love the concept and look forward to trying it again with different flavors. And the 3-scoop nachos are such a generous portion that it's definitely shareable. read more

This will sound ridiculous... but the ice cream was too sweet for me! Even my kids didn't finish theirs and they typically finish every drop of their treats! I tried a few flavors and just couldn't get into it. But, it's a great shop with friendly owners. Prices are fine. They also don't give water for free anymore. read more

PSA: NO FOOD DYE ICE CREAM!! we come here quite often, we actually live in Torrance but always make the time to detour when we're "in the area", ITS THAT GOOD!! Even if the ice cream was mediocre, i would still come for the owners alone. They have a passion behind every scoop .. but luckily for us all, their ice cream is also superior. You won't find this customer service and quality anywhere else. I was sitting in the dining area on one of our visits and someone asked "oh are you out of lime" to which they informed her they don't use food dyes so it was the white ice cream in the tub, HOW AWESOME IS THAT haha You won't regret your choices coming here, super kid friendly also read more

Wow a truly hidden gem!! My husband and I came in today and were blown away. I had the Carmel Apple sundae and he had Coco joy milkshake! So delicious, so many unique flavored ice creams and popsicles which they make themselves there fresh! This place is a must try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Owner is super friendly, store is clean and well decorated, and most importantly the ice cream is fantastic! It's a generous side for a single scoop. We were able to share with two adults and a toddler as an afternoon snack. Would definitely come back. read more

I was kind of hesitant on this place because when we got there a little after 1 it was still closed and wasn't open until almost 1:30pm. We were greeted as soon as we walked it. It was very clean and well organized. The young man named Ruben helped us out and he was very nice and recommended to us some of his favorite treats, such as the Dubai Sundae. I ordered the sundae and really enjoyed it was very creamy and sweet. My sister ordered the strawberry shortbread and she too thought it was creamy and delicious. We also took a pint of Banana Pudding ice cream home and that too was fantastic. The serving size was an incredible amount for the price. Even though I live in Ontario, I will definitely be returning to try some other flavors. read more
