They wrote down my order (I got 4 different flavors) and I was set to pick up. The day I picked up my cupcakes, I noticed they looked different from the online pictures (but whatever, they still looked cute). I also noticed they gave me a wrong flavor (I ordered chocolate whiskey and they gave me caramel something instead). I made the mistake known to the cashier but she looked so confused and said "yeah.. thats the chocolate whiskey" which it clearly wasn't because there was caramel slathered on top and did not match the online description and the in person display. I showed the cashier the description and referenced the in person display and the cashier still seemed confused and said "yeah... thats the chocolate whiskey. What would you like me to do?" And I had to spell it out for her and say "take these caramel ones out and replace them with the ones I ordered" and had to point and all and the cashier just said "oh okay." It was super weird and frustrating. Anyways, taste wise- the alcohol infused cupcakes don't really have a flavor of alcohol and the batter kind of tastes like the box mix. Super strange experience for mid to below mid tasting cupcakes.

People raved about the strawberry cheesecake. I was asked by multiple people where I got these cupcakes from. I had the chance to sample both, and honestly the triple chocolate was delicious as well. The cake is moist, the frosting buttery and not super sweet. I can see why the strawberry cheesecake was the star of the show among the parents, though. As for customer service - great! Cupcake ready when promised. Larry helped me carry my order to the car, and gave me good instructions on care and transport. I would order from him again for any event.

Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. The mango mousse cake is light, flavorful, and always a great choice, while the fruit tart is another one I would highly recommend. I also really enjoy the Ube Matcha and, of course, the potato balls. There is such a great variety that it is hard to leave without getting more than you originally planned. One of the best things about Porto's is that there really is something for everyone, whether you are looking for pastries, desserts, cakes, or something savory.
