The veggie burger was scrumptious! The veggie patty was not very flavorful though but the two different types of cheese I added to it were! I customized it by adding mozzarella and feta cheese but come to think of it the cheese tasted more like cheddar and mozzarella instead....Hmmm well either way it was delicious. The vegetables inside tasted fresh as well. The French fries were a bit slick with oil but still yummy. The waitress was very kind. I ordered scallops and the plate was half full with hush puppies which the menú said nothing about the hush puppies. Silverware was dirty full of spots and food particles. I moved from Regina in the 1980s, and recall the Copper Kettle as far back as the 1960s, but surprisingly, I had never eaten there. On a recent trip to Regina, I decided to have dinner there as it was around the corner from my hotel. The decor was nice, the staff polite, and the menu tilted toward Greek/Mediterranean. On a Saturday night, we were the only table indoors, with a few couples seated outdoors, not a good sign. Portions were large, and nicely plated. The grilled shrimp skewers (2) and the accompanying rice pilaf were very good. The lamb chops (4) were tasty, but were delivered well done, rather than the requested medium rare. The pace of the meal was a bit erratic with long pauses followed by rushes on dishes. The "bartender" needs to learn how to mix drinks. I would guess he/she was looking up recipes on his/her cellphone, as they were "unique" to put it politely. The person at the bar should sign up for a few lessons from the bartender at Golf's down the road. I would suggest patrons stick to beer, wine or highballs that are simple pours read more

We were in a rush and Aman made sure that we were seated and taken care of as quickly as possible. He made excellent suggestions from the local craft beer and food menu. The food arrived rapidly. The service was poor even for Regina standards. Our waitress was rude and inattentive. The food was horrendously expensive (who the ef would pay $53 for a large pizza!!!) The food was not of great quality. She charged me for a beer that I didn't order. There were still many customers inside of the restaurant, and they started stacking chairs up around us on a Friday night. I'd never head back here again if I was dying of starvation. read more

After perusing the menu for a bit, I finally decided upon the Greek omelette. I also ordered some "herbal tea", and the choices were presented to me in a wooden tea box. The choices were standard packaged grocery store tea, but the selection was decent. As for the omelette, it was delicious. The flavor of the feta they used was very prevalent in the dish, which to me was a good thing. The portion was decent and the side of potatoes was delicious. The "brown" toast (wheat) was thick and hearty. All in all, the experience was great. The dining room is right next to a bar, so that's a plus. Excellent food. I had the braised ribs as an app and they were done perfectly. Every bit seasoned just right, and the lemon wedge over the top was a nice compliment to all the flavors in the dish. For my main, I had the Linguine Pollo. Again, perfect compliment of fresh herbs in the white wine sauce were delicious. The garlic toast that came with it was toasted just perfect and not too garlicky, puffy and light, allowing me to wipe up the sauce remnants of my linguine and mixed really well. Amon served me. He was very friendly and attentive, checked on my experience very often. His choice of a good Saskatchewan beer from the microbrewery next door was also very good. Eaten here twice, and the second time was awkward and uncomfortable. Being served by a trainee who didn't know the difference between a Cabernet and a Chardonnay is one thing (she brought the former when I asked for the later), but feeling unwelcome during my meal was another thing entirely. Understanding that I arrived at a late hour (less than an hour before closing) but I was almost completely ignored by the waitress in a near-empty restaurant (no water refill). Then, the owner/manager served my soup and main at the same time. Clearly, they wanted to close and get me out of there. I obliged, getting most of my main packaged to eat later. And, of course, the waitress forgot to ask if I wanted a fork to go along with it (thankfully my hotel provided me one). Sad, because the food is good. Spending Boxing Day in downtown Regina didn't yield many choices to eat other than the Copper Kettle so this is where me and my husband stopped in for a quiet bite to eat after a busy morning of shopping. Upon walking in, I must say this establishment is clean and generally comfortable, but far from cozy. The service was Ok and the food was nothing special. The menu is pretty typical. Every item is familiar but nothing that is intriguing. I ordered a clubhouse sandwich and lemon rice soup that was tasty and filling. My husband ordered a steak sandwich medium rare, which ended up well done and tough. While it was edible, it was very far from impressive. Would I go there next time I am in town. No. I wouldn't and if there were more restaurants open on this day, we would not have even considered it. I think there is far more interesting places in the downtown area. read more

My grandparents and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a sightseeing trip to Regina when they were up for a visit. I was worried when we walked in because there was not a soul around to direct us to a table and hardly any patrons. I was starting to think that we had chosen poorly. After wavering on the fence about whether or not to stay we were finally seated. Their lunch menu had plenty of options for my health conscious grandparents. They both ordered salads and I had a veggie wrap. the service could have been better but I think we may have been there a little early for the lunch rush. Nice quiet restaurant. Our waitress was "in training " but we would have never known. She was very knowledgeable and attentive! We started with the calamari, cooked to perfection! Next we had their pizza. The "boy" had the pepperoni with Caesar Salad whilst me and the wife had the Bixby. Overall the pizzas were awesome and would recommend to anyone going there. From the name it looks like a brewpub but once you go inside it still looks like a brewpub. Then you look at the menu and it looks like a Mediterranean place that somehow specializes in pizza. Both the pizza and the mediterranean foods are great. They have a full bar and I've gotten takeout from here. The souvlaki chicken chick is out of sight and same with the baklava. My issue was the price. Got burned here as I should have been paying attention to the cost. I have never paid 58.00 for a pizza. While the quality and portion size was good, at that price I cannot recommend this place. A couple high-end Bps pizzas would have been just as good and would have yielded better value. read more

I do not send food back but in this case I had to. I reordered and when my bill came I was charged for the higher price meal I sent back.
