I'm just going in there for the basics of faxing. When others are present, they treat you as if you're the only person in the store. Organized, focused, very friendly, efficient, and their prices are competitive. It's good to have something local to Columbia City so I don't have to make the trek into downtown/SODO to take care of business. And they seem to be locals as well. Ugh. Totally unprofessional situation going on here. I should have realized when I couldn't find a website and then was given a personal address when I asked where to email for quotes on Facebook. Now I sent an email 6 days ago, followed up THREE times when I didn't hear anything back. Finally after a rather directly worded email about my lack of satisfaction someone emailed back with some excuse about how the owner has been in and out but that she would print my email out and give it to him so that he would definitely respond to me then (5 days after request for a quote). Keeping my mind open and ready to forgive since they did offer and apology I waited - and then not a peep for the rest of the day or today. I don't get how places like this stay in business. It is just a printing shop - the only things making people come back is customer service, price - but really price difference is often negligible in this industry it's often just a few bucks different, and quality of the printing work. If you can't handle the big one out of those three it's just not gonna work out. Sorry, Gorilla Graphics, but you lost my business and also anyone else I know looking for printing help will have to hear my story. FYI best practice if you are too busy to deal with handling your customers is to AT THE VERY LEAST acknowledge their email. Needed a last minute color copy - something I could email from my computer. I had heard positive things about Gorilla Graphics and since my usual place couldn't do it, I gave them a call. Dominique could not have been nicer and more helpful. I sent my pdf off straightaway for a color copy and picked it up 1/2 hour later. It looked perfect and was only 29 cents! This place has HORRIBLE service! In December of 2017 I had consent forms for my business made. I asked the owner if he could keep the hard copy so that when I come back we can could just use that to make more copies. He said no problem and had me fill out a white folder with my name on it and put the hard copy of my consent form in there. I went in today because I was running low and the girl who was at the front desk had an attitude the moment I walked in. I told her my order and I said the owner took the hard copy and put it in a folder. She proceeds to tell me that she doesn't know where he would've put it. I politely asked her if she could possibly look around for it and she barely wanted to do that. I was on a time limit so after about 20 minutes of her "looking" through the folders I wrote down my name and number and told her to call me once she found it. When I got home I called the owners cell phone and told him what happened. I also asked him if they kept it organized by month or by last name he said they didn't and I said that's business 101 is to be organized. He then tells me "well you may run your business that way but we don't" and that he doesn't remember what my order looks like because he's had about 300 orders since mine but said he would call me back once he got to the shop. When he gets to the shop he calls me back and says he can't find it and if it's been more than 6 months they usually throw them out. Had I known that in the beginning I would've made sure to come in before that so I could have my consent forms for my clients. Do not go here they are very unprofessional and unorganized. This is no way to run a business. Now I have to find another place to get these printed read more

David of Gorilla Graphics went out of his way to provide me with enlarged black and whit and enlarged color prints of images I brought in so my visiting granddaughters could work on art projects with me. He spent extra time and made sure the reproductions were perfect. When he presented the bill I was pleasantly surprised that it was half of what I expected. The staff at Gorilla Graphics is amazing!!! I needed 300 obituaries printed for a funeral and I had limited time to get them done. I sent the file to David and Dominique on Tuesday morning for a funeral that was scheduled for Thursday (I don't advice anyone to do this), and to my amazement by Wednesday at 6:30pm they were done! Dominique worked very hard to get this job done for us and have it completed on time. When I got to the shop to pick them up I was blown away at the quality of the books, they were awesome. I then asked David if he could please print me 100 more and have them ready by 9am the next morning. I really thought I was overdoing it but sure enough David said "yes" with a smile. He had all 100 books completed on time and ready to go for the 11am funeral service. These books were 24 full-page color copies which was a total of 7200 pages and then another 2400 pages at the last minute. I should also add that no other print company could beat their prices, I checked. I really appreciate the hard work and dedication that was bestowed on me by this business and I will always take my print or graphic jobs to Gorilla Graphics. Also, David is a great networker, if you have any needs that are outside of his expertise he can and will put you in touch with someone that can help you. Great place. I have been applying for jobs periodically and have needed a lot of copies a couple of times a month. David put me right behind the computer and I had my copies done within 5 minutes. Normally, I get charged $.50+ per copy at the UPS store, Office Max, Kinkos, etc. and have paid upwards of $25 for 40 pages or something like that. Nonsense! These folks charge $.15 per page and David gave me a couple of copies free of charge since I didn't have change on me. I will be coming back for any/all copies in the future if not just to drop off a few bucks for his help and kind words. Thanks for making my day better! read more

I recently had Gorilla Graphics assist in making two special birthday invitations, one for my Mom and one for my 4 year old daughter. In the past, I have gone to printing place over on Capitol Hill to help with design and print of family holiday cards, birthday invitations, and gifts. However, with the increase in traffic, I decided to stay close to home, and try Gorilla Graphics this time around. It is a family run business, and both David and his sister are friendly and helpful. Although the first invitation took a little longer than I had expected, David remained professional and communicated well with men via email and phone calls regarding the status of my card, and even compted me some extra invitations and envelopes. Both invitations came out looking exactly how I had envisioned, a "Lucille Ball" style card for my Mom, and a whimsical, sweet style card for my little girl. Up until the end, David was very accomodating and allowed me to take home the invites to meet my deadline, even though payment wasn't made at the time of service due to credit card processing difficulties.
