I stood in line for a while, patiently waiting for my turn, as both groups shared the same long line. This place is usually pretty busy so I always keep that in mind to determine what time I go. The workers here always do their best to keep up with the foot traffic for being the only UPS store within the area. We had some trouble with the printing layout and the team at this USP store was able to fix all the problems and print everything with ease. I would highly recommend this store for all your printing and shipping needs, just be patient as a lot of stores are closing around south Seattle so they might be slight busier than normal. read more

It's gotten better over the last year a bit when it comes to getting a smile out of the employees. Everyone seems unhappy to be there for the most part. In the past they wouldn't even great you or say hello. However In more recent visits I've been able to get a little bit of small chat out of them and even some smiles. Which is nice. Walking into an unwelcoming environment is never pleasant. The store has a nice lay out and is like many other locations. It doesn't looked ran down or anything. It's pretty nice inside. And they offer some services like passport pictures, personal P.O. Boxes and notarization. Not that I've used them, but I know it's there if I need it. One thing I do find odd there is that they charge a whole $1 to use their tape. Even if it's just a little piece. I think for a store that ships and things of that nature and requires certain things to be taped up, that it should be complimentary unless there's an excessive amount being used. I make sure now to always bring tape with me because you never know when you'll need it there and it's no fun when your without and then have to be charged for it on top of whatever else your already paying for. But other than that, like I said, there's been improvements in the customer service there BUT I'd still say there's a decent amount to do so let's keep up the strive to do better and I think eventually you can get the poor reviews into good ones! frequent malfunctions with their receipt printer drastically slows down pre-paid. This UPS location is unlike any UPS or USPS location in their insistence on printing a receipt for every prepaid package, which combined with the above, results in absurd lines and wait times regularly. Please just start accepting prepaid drop-off, or find a way to go faster. read more

Go elsewhere. There are several reviews on Yelp that warn about the thieves at the UPS Store on S Othello St location. Brought two prepaid packages to the store and UPS never received them. Have the receipt in hand and they claim they are helpless. Useless and dishonest people. Will be in contact with the Better Business Bureau and Washington State Consumer Protection Agency. UPDATE: I returned to the store and tried to locate my packages. Made my displeasure known to the employee who incidentally was the same one who took the packages two days earlier. Left the store and I posted the above review as well as complaining to UPS customer service. Within 2 hours the packages magically appeared in the system. I stand by my original statement and advice. She remained calm, pleasant and professional the entire time. While we were there, Anaiyah handled everything from faxes, copies, shipments, returns, and even passport photos without batting an eye.
