Back at this place! Go-to menus again. Best curry and pad thai in UT Picked up this time!

First of all, let's talk service. This place is your neighborhood restaurant where the owners know everyone's name. We came in and started chatting with the folks inside about living in Utah and cool places to check out. They were extremely friendly and spent time making sure our experience was perfect. My son, who is 4, loved the food and they made accommodations to keep the spice level down on his meal. Now for the food. Who knew great Thai food could be found inside Utah? I for sure did not but was happy to learn how the owner migrated from Thailand to the US in the 70's and traveled around the country through his military service. Eventually they ended up in Utah and decided to open a mom and pop Thai restaurant. It doesnt get realer than that. I ordered the panang curry and it was delicious. The spice level was just right, leaving me grabbing for multiple glasses of water. For an appetizer we had crab rangoons with a sweet chili sauce. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly and affordable at that. I can't tell you the next time I'll be in Utah, but I know where I'll be heading to when I'm in town.

Best around the food is always so good and the service is quick! I ordered the pad see ewe level 3 spicy with extra noodles and we also got combination fried rice level 1.

This was definitely a great find. A bit of a drive from where my colleague and I were working in Layton, but worth the trip. This venue is somewhat small and only seats around 30-40 people, although I thought it said 52. Located in a small strip mall. It looks to be family run. You seat yourself and the owner comes over to take your order. I had the Pad Thai with shrimp which was fantastic. Great flavor on the rice noodles and plenty of shrimp. Great service, delicious food. I'll be back on my next visit.

Delicious! They had a large order before me but I still got my food within 20 minutes. Staff was extremely friendly and recommended certain items to me. The food was way good. Best pad Thai I have had in a long time!

First off the staff is super friendly and very helpful I give 5 stars just for that lol I got the pork ramen soup which I enjoyed. My hubby got the pad Thai and he said it was good. He added spice to his to add some heat. Crab wontons were good also. Definitely recommend this place

This is a pretty casual, little Thai restaurant on a strip mall in Syracuse. We stopped in and got their sampler appetizer which comes with two items of each appetizer (two egg rolls, two dumplings, two chicken satays, etc). It was a delicious and inexpensive way to try everything. The crab and cheese wontons were our favorite. We also ordered pad see ew and pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Both were really good. We loved the sauce of the pad see ew but also enjoyed the spice that the drunken noodles had. Prices are incredible. All of that food was only a little over $20! Service was fast and good. I'd definitely come back.

The whole family appears to work there, and everyone is so sweet and kind. The place itself is neat and clean and bright and welcoming. After looking over the menu, I decided to order a few things to try. I had the pan fried dumplings, the stirfried bok choy, and the garlic fried rice. The dumplings came out first, and we're very tasty. The stirfry bok choy was both beautiful and delicious - perfectly cooked! And the garlic fried rice... What can I say - it was delicious! There was so much of it, I had to take most of it to my hotel room for breakfast the next morning. The owner came and sat down at my table and chatted, and it was a pleasure meeting her as well as her whole family. This is a great place and when and if I pass through the area again, I will definitely eat here!

It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

Very fresh and tasty. You also get your choice of an organic juice box/milk, or water with the meal. The chicken was cooked well and a decent size "kid" portion. The whole meal was under $20 and very filling. You can't find these competitive prices at your local fast food joint and it's much healthier too. Definitely a restaurant that I recommend if on a budget and you want to assure to be filled up without breaking the bank either for yourself, or your family.

They are always quick with the orders and it is worth the wait!! I always order the Q1 with noodles with extra sauce (it's amazing!!) and no veggies. In regards to instructions being followed, this restaurant gets an A++++! Now let's get to my meal... I ordered the C4: BB & SAEU (steak and shrimp). This particular combo comes with white rice and mixed veggies. You can mix and match for a small additional fee (i.e. Ramen noodles and fried rice, etc...please refer to their menu for different combo options and prices). I opted for just steak & shrimp with ONLY fresh veggies and my sauces on the side. Q-One did oblige with all of that and let me try out all 4 sauces (on the side, btw, just as I requested), that they offer which are: Q-One Tepanyaki sauce Bulgogi sauce Srichacha Chili Paste The mixed veggies concluded of stir fried sliced green cabbage. The combo itself was flavorful even prior to the dressing. The stir fried cabbage was a bit oily for my taste, but hey, it's Korean, right?! The steak and shrimp were both cooked perfectly. Just smaller portions than what I was expecting. I only received 5 total shrimp and the steak was sliced and diced making it very small and not too much of it either; sadly. The entree was mostly oiled down cabbage minus a whole lot of meat (though it looks like a lot at first as they pack it in all on top). Stir it all around and see for yourself what you end up with. I definitely do plan on eating here again, just not quite sure when. Teriyaki Grill is a lot healthier and gives bigger meat portions. However, when I think of the catastrophe that I received at Cupbop, there's just no way that I would not recommend Q One to anyone and everyone! Side note: All the sauces are delicious! The house (Q-One) is a bit thicker in consistency than the bulgogi but not as sweet tasting. The srichacha is standard and their chili Paste is of a thinner consistency but VERY spicy! I couldn't pick a favorite so there you go :+)

The shoyu and tonkotsu ramen are top-notch, and the marinated eggs are delightful. I also look forward to trying the sushi burritos, which looked amazing. The shop itself is cute, cozy, and clean, with accessible parking and entry. However, the service made us feel deeply unwelcome. The friend I took to lunch has an intellectual disability, and her ultimate passions are anime and ramen. Once a month, I take her out for a special meal, and Ramen House was her choice again this month. Our previous visit was fantastic, so I was excited to go back. From the moment we arrived, the server who greeted us seemed annoyed by our presence and seated us in the farthest corner. When taking drink orders, she grew impatient with my friend, repeating the question multiple times rather than giving her space to respond, and when she did respond, the server pointed to the menu, repeating something different than what she asked for, and then ignored the girls response when she repeated her preferred order. When I tried to step in and clarify, the server ignored me and turned back to my friend. The pressure left my friend flustered and confused, and she ultimately just agreed to whatever the server suggested instead of getting what she actually wanted. My friend was talking animatedly throughout lunch. Because she rarely opens up or talks in public, seeing her so expressive was a huge win for me--it meant she felt safe and happy. Yet, the staff seemed visibly bothered. While I understand restaurant environments require balance, her talking wasn't any louder than a table of business professionals having a lively lunch. It simply felt unwelcoming and entirely lacking in basic inclusivity. Throughout the meal, basic service interactions were curt. The server avoided eye contact, displayed impatient body language when I asked for a to-go container, and dropped off the bill unceremoniously with no thank you or polite closing. There was also a long delay before she retrieved the payment--leaving me wondering if I should have walked it to the register myself. It was a stark contrast to the warm experience we had on our first visit. I am sharing this because this is my friend's absolute favorite spot, and since she only gets this outing once a month, I know she will want to return. She deserves to enjoy her favorite meal without us feeling like a burden to the staff. It was truly a heartbreaking experience to witness, and I sincerely hope the management uses this feedback to foster a more patient, welcoming environment for all guests.
