We moved here from Las Vegas where we experienced a lot of great food and we think this place is easily one of the best we've ever had. Pad Thai had no flavors. We got it over the weekend and it felt like the noodles were not fresh, and overall just had no flavors. I would not recommend the pad Thai from there. I cannot talk about anything else as we only got 2 pad Thai. read more

I really like this place and my wife is a huge fan. Their Pad Thai is wonderfully flavorful. The only negative feedback I would give is the portions are small for the price. So, some of the food we ordered was great others were average at best. I ordered the pork wanton soup, which was pretty good. My son got the Ramin and he loved it. My wife ordered the green curry, which unfortunately missed the mark. The flavor was just ok. The portion was quite small. The best part of the meal for me was the appetizer, pork egg rolls. I have ordered from the corner Noodle, at least once a week if not more, sometimes twice a day (we work from home) there has been two occasions where our food was made incorrect one time was directly through the restaurant we ordered their curry batch, it was not very flavorful, I was assuming because we were the first order of the day we ordered before they even opened, we weren't upset, it wasn't a big deal, we understand food can't be made perfect tasting the same everytime, I mean we ate there so much of course we are bound to not have 1 or 2 batches not so good. We called them, I'll just say they weren't super friendly with criticism of their food not being outstanding like it normally is, I even told them that, that their food is normally outstanding. The curry was very watered down with little to no flavor, but they went ahead and replaced our curry order...we spent well over $100. All other orders I have done on Grubhub and other food delivery services, I'll post a screenshot of our order history...We always gave five stars on Grubhub. I've given them one rating that wasn't a five star, it was a 2 star on GrubHub and that's because they made the curry incorrect from how I requested it, I mean I do pay for the substitutes, So I should get what I pay extra for but I didn't. They were already closed or I woulda called. We have been loyal to them for about 8 weeks now since finding them with probably placing a few dozen orders in that short time, our orders ranged anywhere from $80-$150 per order and again sometimes twice a day. I just attempted to do a order with GrubHub, GrubHub called me and said they declined service to me because I have complained too many times, i'm so confused I guess 2 times out a couple dozen orders in short period of time is too many? . They have now decided they're not taking orders from me I guess you're not allowed to give a honest rating when they mess up, again this wasn't a public review, just grub hub off that one purchase. They didn't like that so they declined my order and denied me service, again I was never rude to them or even mad at all, we do nothing but brag about this place. It was only a GrubHub rating off that ONE purchase. But whatever, their business their choice. Such a bummer, because we have given them a lot business and were planning to still give them a lot of business. The curry spice is never the same, The potatoes and veggies aren't always soft I don't ever complain about that, I get it, it happens. We're talking substitutes I paid that I didn't get, those are the only times I wasn't pleased with their food and the one time we got a watered down batch. Great food yes, but you can't tell they if they mess up because this is what happens, you get declined service even if you're nice about it ‍ I'll stick with Thai fusion in Layton, they are always awesome food and excellent customer service. read more

It's a local place run by a Thai family trying hard to run a successful business. The owner said they'd been open about 18 months. The owner's mom took the order and the owner himself served us in about 10 minutes. We had pad Thai and pad kee mao (sp?), and we added shrimp and an egg roll to both. The food was hot, quick and very good. The owner stopped back after a bit and engaged with us, as well. He asked how we found out about the place (I said "Yelp") and he said thanks! As part of a lunch special, we paid just under $24 for two plates, two egg rolls, a soda and tip. I presume the lunch special is every day during the week (but not weekends?) We love Thai food and thought we would give this place a try. The owner is a very hard working humble man. My wife and I had our go to Thai dishes which are Pad Thai and Massaman curry chicken. We also had the mango sticky rice with crab wontons for an appetizer. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The prices are good and comparable with other Thai places. I wanted a vegan meal, so the gal up front quickly named the options that I had even before I had a chance to really look at the menu. She sighed heavily when I asked her to show me again. The pad thai was very greasy, without sauce, and stuck together in a blob in the box--no sauce. The Corner Noodle had really good reviews which is why we went. The food was ok. The menu is rather limited, so keep that in mind. I had the Pad Thai which is always my go-to gauge when trying a new Thai restaurant. Also tried the Mossamon Curry. The Pad Thai was somewhat bland but ok. Not the best by far. My wife and I found ourselves wanting spicy Thai noodles the other day, and as we such we set to looking. This place came recommended by a friend and we were blown away! The interior was modest, simple tables and chairs, and a modest (small) menu to accompany. But wow were the flavors outstanding! The Pad Mee Mao (spice level 3) was everything I hoped for. The noodles weren't too greasy, the vegetables a wonderful crunch, and the spice was on point! I love the food here, my work is about 500 feet away so I usually make an order to go on there website and pick it up on my lunch. My go to order is the spicy panang curry with either beef or shrimp depending on the day. The curry comes in a large to go bowl with a lid and a to go plate with rice and an egg roll. The curry it's self is spicy, creamy and a little sweet which creates a great contrast in flavor. I love this because you are able to make your own curry plate whenever your ready to eat and don't have to worry about the texture changing while you are traveling. The lady at the counter knows me by name and always asks me how I am doing, she always puts an extra chili sauce container with my order before I even arrive which is excellent service. I have Also ordered there beef ramen to go a couple times and it was also put in separate containers so the noodles, vegetables and meat wouldn't get soggy or overcooked in the hot broth while your waiting to eat. The ramen broth is in the sweeter side which is unusual for that type of broth and is also lacking a bit in the flavor department, some salt or a more concentrated/flavorful broth would make this ramen a 10/10. read more
