The Corners of Brookfield is the shopping center where Waking Daisy is located. After having breakfast at Waking Daisy, my husband and I walked around the shopping center. I love the center of the shops where there is a large chess board, seating area, fire pit, children's games, and a stage for music. The shopping area was nice but the parking garage was a nightmare. It was difficult finding where to park that was near the restaurant were wanted to dine at. A LOT more signage would be helpful. Still, I recommend The Corners of Brookfield. read more

I am walking with my luggage having a conversation on my cell phone with my headphones on. Any normal person would leave me alone. Not the lady that walked out of the management office. I see her looking at me, and lips moving, but I'm on a phone call. I wonder what she needs? I remove my headphones. She says "May I help you?" Do I look like I need help? I know exactly what I'm doing...weird. She interrupted my call to see if "I" need help...I thought she needed help. I said no. She repeats herself...I continue my phone conversation "You can pick me up at the management office". My caller is lost ... they're downstairs. We've been here a number of times over the years. While it was exciting and cool at first, it has become busy and tough to walk around/park. I'm also not all that excited about the store and restaurant offerings given the hassle. It does look like they try to use the main space for movies, live streaming games, family nights, etc but we've never tried any of those out. There has been turnover of some stores/restaurants though so always something different to check out. I will say that it's nice to have free parking compared to some other similar mall concepts like this. All in all, good but not great. read more

Very aesthetically pleasing outdoor shopping plaza with a main square and interesting collection of stores and restaurants. We've visited a handful of times for various events they host and always have a great time. In the summer there are free workout classes and yesterday we visited for the tree lighting that also features a drone show and appearances from Santa and Frozen's Elsa and Anna. My go to spots for shopping here are Madewell, Anthropologie, and Altar'd State. The LL Bean is also huge. Lots of parking options (although be aware it can sometimes get very busy) including a parking garage. Very walkable to everything the Corners has to offer read more

Went to check out the new Alo and a few other shops and omg the parking situation?? I literally couldn't find anywhere near the store, had to circle the whole place and basically leave and reenter just to figure out the garage. It was so confusing lol, kinda turned me off from going back tbh. The center itself is cute though! Just really small, not a ton of stores. read more

So in looking for a mall (new in town) found this amazing place. Downside is its outdoor and it was cold and windy. Totally my fault for not catching that. I went over to try Whalburgers which was the only thing this far in the place to get me to stop over. The place is the I don't understand stand retail/living/restaurant model, who wants to live in an outdoor mall ? I guess people do because these are popping up all over. Parking is all over with a large underground space, lots on the side and limited street parking which I got top side. I'm not a mall shopper person at all and and this has little interest to me but I can see the appeal of the space. If like me you are only there for one place parking can be an issue because the underground has few signs only for bigger stores so you could be parking on the other side of where you want to be. I think the idea is a community gathering space where you can shop/eat and play indoors and outdoors but really not my thing so I don't see my self as a regular visitor. read more

Modern venue featuring a department store & upscale retailers along with a cinema & trendy eateries. I have frequented a few of the establishments, and they are, without a doubt, exquisite. I've dined at Wahlburgers, and enjoyed Italian fare with a nice bottle of wine at Grimaldi's Pizza. The double-decker Sendik's market is also something to see. Their deli has something for everyone. Great wine and beer selection. if you want some laughs, stop in at Milwaukee Improv. Top acts almost every weekend. Great seats, and a great price. read more

One of the best suburban shopping malls in the Milwaukee area, it's upscale and focused on White upper middle class customers.  Parking is tight up top, there's a protected underground area but you won't be able to avoid inconsiderate entitled suburban drivers in oversized SUVs.  Be very careful as a pedestrian.  There's a wonderful outdoor shared social area that has a big screen for Brewers games (soccer is a little less likely) and often live music. There are a couple of cultural appropriation based dining places so if that offends you, be forewarned.  There's also some of the best pizza in the region (not the same restaurants).  Upscale clothing and sports equipment (like nice kayaks), no cheap options.  It's mixed use so there are also some offices and residences. read more

I don't know about all these "apartment/retail/restaurant" complexes popping up. Are people clamoring for this kind of development? I guess so? Yesterday was my first visit and frankly it reminded me a lot of Bayshore, in a bad way. Unless you know where you're going it's impossible to find a thing - way finding isn't very good at all. The mix of pedestrians wandering aimlessly and cars driving around searching in vain for the Lululemon store (cause you know they have one) is kind of scary. On the store front, they do have some unique to Milwaukee options (Free People, Von Maur) and a few restaurants (Grimaldis and yet more Bel Air and Hollander outposts). In general, its stuff rich suburban moms want. Not really my jam, but if you want to pay $1500 for a 1 bedroom next to Lululemon, check them out. read more

This place was a lot of fun. This concept of a community forming its own little entertainment district is popping up everywhere. It works. Food, fun, family, the concept is growing in popularity and rightfully so. The food is good. Parking and getting around is a little confusing at first but I can see if you lived here it would make sense. Overall, if you are in the area, it's probably one of the best times I had. The newest shopping center in the area. The parking structure is really nice. Tall ceilings with wide aisles and parking spaces. I was kind of worried how the traffic flow in and out of the shopping area, but it seems to be pretty good with no backups so far, but that may change once more stores and restaurants open up. It's nice to see a variety of stores that are not necessarily at other malls close by. I am however sad there is no coffee shop going in at this time. Originally Colectivo was supposed to go in, but they decided to focus on other projects. If you are reading this Corners...we could use a nice local coffee shop, we are really lacking one in the area! read more

This is a high end clothing store with something for everyone. We bought gifts and were wrapped quickly onsite with beautiful Von Maur paper. There was also eye catching art work to enjoy while shopping the racks. In the kids department my son was amazed by the interactive tree sculpture. read more

I was the longest resident at The Corners. I was the first to move into my apartment and just recently moved after over 5 years. During my time at The Corners I saw a lot of changes over time and none of them good at all. First, the staff and local management is a revolving door. Turnover is rampant which isn't good for residents especially when you get one set of directions from one manager to then have the next day the exact opposite. The new security contractor turned it into basically a police state. Security turned having an overnight guest park at the Corners into a dizzying process to get authorization and they kept moving places where they could "legally" park. When I left it was as far away as possible. When I objected to these changes I was told by the new security manager that "If you don't like it then move"!! That didn't feel very comforting. After only 5 years the cleaning, carpet and all other parts are looking and feeling very worn. Finally, when I moved out I paid almost $4,000 which was a 2 month penalty (even though they immediately rented out my apartment) and now they are refusing to return my $500 security deposit and want to charge me almost another $1,000!!! When I moved in I specifically asked the manager if I could paint my apt. I was told "yes". I was told they have to paint all vacates apts with 2 coats when someone leaves so if my painting is covered by these 2 coats I'm fine. I was given the name of the Corners painter and used them to do most of the painting. so I had them paint a couple walls. Well, after I moved out and am now over 1,000 miles away I receive a balance due statement saying I owe $1,200 for painting and about 10 other ridiculous other utility charges that I had already paid directly to the utility companies. i disputed all these charges and was told I was wrong and if I don't pay they will specifically send my bill to collections and will try to damage my credit rating. This is a perfect example of the GREED the owners, Then Mandel Group, has and no respect to their longest staying resident but I can only imagine how they treat others. They have all the power and my money. I have no recourse than to hire an attorney to make sure they don't ruin my credit and get my $500 back. I won't back down to their Corporate Greed and will fight not just for me but other, future resident, who can't afford or don't have the will to fight. Please don't get sucked in by living close to retail and restaurants to move here. The living environment is only getting worse, it's ungodly expensive for what you get and management has shown me very little to no integrity. Buyer beware!! read more

I was very happy during my 6 month stay at the Corners. The entire staff, from office to maintenance were cheerful and friendly. The apartment was spacious with nice appliances. The balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The apartment was very quiet, I never heard anything from the adjoining apartments. Neighbors were friendly and a diverse mix of cultures. Anyone I had interaction with was courteous and respectful. Security is patrolling regularly and as with the rest of the team cheerful and friendly. I didn't have any problem letting my 14 year old son wander around in the courtyard and explore the treat shops. I don't have anything even mediocre to say, the whole experience was pleasant to an extreme. read more

There are a bunch of cute shops in here. From shopping to food. I love cafe hollander and von mour. As well as this is the closest luluemon to me. Although since it is small the place is always packed. I like parking in the von mour lot as well. read more

Odd and somewhat ugly Center based on curb appeal. Think fast getting in and maneuvering when entering off Bluemound. In addition, caution driving through catacomb like parking structure. Stores are mostly over priced specialty shops, along with pricey restaurants and a grocery store. Plus an old school department store, which tried to imitate Nordstrom (it isn't, except for high prices) Center also has hundreds of apartments build on top floors, feel like I'm shopping in someone's living space when in courtyard area. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the Corners of Brookfield but in a more nostalgic kind of way!! Reminds me of the open air shopping plazas you'll find all over California! A wide center square with a BIG television... there was a Green Bay Packers game on but it was the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday! Can't tell you if it was live or recorded from a previous time! It was great to see people eating outside the variety of restaurants surrounding this plaza... it was a beautiful day! A fantastic selection of shops, mainly boutique, but I really didn't see anything you couldn't get elsewhere for more reasonable prices. Whoever designed this place must've been drinking heavily that day! There's a large parking structure and the majority of the stores are located on what would, technically, be the second level. However, there is a main drive with some limited parking through the center of the plaza. This should be blocked off and relegated as part of the pedestrian only area. The design is confusing enough and to have drivers searching for specific shops/restaurants/parking spaces simultaneously seems a bit treacherous. Crossing this drive proved to be a scary experience. Get the vehicles out of there, everybody should park in the structure and walk. Not to mention one most likely will end up parking in the lot! Another thing, I can't see shopping or dining at the Corners to be pleasant in a Wisconsin winter no matter how pleasantly decorated. Where do they put the snow?? All storefronts open to the outside air. Carrying multiple packages seems inconvenient. I'm just speculating but I'll probably never know!! read more
