What a great staff and facility, including "the farm" where the dogs, who are in daycare or boarding, are taken to run and play in the fresh air. Our dog always comes back happy and tired, and always excited when she enters the building the next time. read more

So I take my dog here every so often for grooming services. The staff are great, especially Michelle. She tries to make sure your animal(s) experience is pleasant and so does the other staff members. Since they offer drop and go, there's always curb side parking available. I definitly recommend Country Mitts and if I didn't I wouldn't be going there. read more

My dog Chandler has been going to the Country Mutt at least once a week for Daycare for the last year or so. He LOVES his time at the Mutt. He is so excited every time we pull up to the window for daycare. He is also exhausted every night when I bring him home so I know that he is actually playing rather than sitting in a kennel all day. The entire staff here is amazing. They all go above and beyond for the animals in their care. Our dog has been attending doggie daycare here for over 8 months and loves it. Our dog gets so excited when we pull up to the location. It is like her second home and they truly treat her like family. My husband and I feel very comfortable leaving her in their care. This is a delayed review but a few years back I came here because I moved to scituate and was looking for a good dog groomer for my yorkie. Upon picking him up, they asked me to sign a waiver, which I did (but didn't question at the time- my fault). They said my dog has an "irritation" from the grooming which happens occasionally- I trusted them and left with my dog. Upon returning home my dog was visibly uncomfortable and had been licking and scooting on his belly all afternoon. He didn't have an irritation- the groomer had straight up cut him on his nether regions. I felt horrible that I hadn't checked this before I left and that I was lied to by the staff. Never went back. Do not sign any waiver and check your dog before they leave! read more

Been taking our Shi tzu to The Country Mutt for 2 years now. He used to give them a hard time, but the staff worked wonders with him! They are a little more expensive than other area groomers, but our pup is definitely happier here than where we previously took him. read more

I have been taking my bichon to The Country Mutt for grooming. They do a great job grooming her and she is always well taken care of while she waits for me to get her. I have also had them trim the nails of my other two dogs, one who definitely does not like to get her nails clipped. They are able to make it as stress free as possible for her while doing a good job! I highly recommend The Country Mutt. read more

After meeting Michelle and all of the other staff here, and seeing the amazing things they do for our "wiggle butts", I wouldn't think to take our two huskies anywhere else but here for any service. Our two year old husky Jade goes to daycare a couple times a week while our older one has some relaxing time alone at home. She starts to get excited the second I open the car to bring her in the morning, and literally scratches at the door of the car to get out to go inside. She absolutely loves daycare.. She plays all day and comes home so tired and still happy, and if you know huskies, a tired husky is an almost well behaved husky. Both of our pups come here for baths as well. In the five years that we have had our oldest, we had brought her to four or five different places for baths and every time we returned to bring her again, she would always hold her own at the door and refuse to go in, making us carry her, and as she came out, she always looked so afraid and concerned and literally ( again a husky trait) snubbed us for days. The Country Mutt is the ONLY place that we have ever brought her where we actually walk right in with her and a curled, happy tail. When my dogs, who have way better instincts than I do, can trust the staff here, you bet I can and will too. I don't trust my dogs with anyone, but when I see that Jade is going on a pack walk with a staff member, or playing with a dog that she just met, I don't get concerned at all, instead I smile at the pictures. Yes, I said pictures! They post updates on Facebook throughout the day so that we can see what all of the pups are up to! Never have I met such an amazing group of people and such an amazing business. I recommend anyone who has a pup (or cat!!!- they have cat services as well! And an awesome shop cat named pasta) to come here and check it out for themselves!!!!! read more
