I wish the new company that took over (Destination Pet ) pretended to act like they care about not only the dogs but their owners as well! As well as driving staff who had been there for awhile right out the door. When we first brought our dog here they would do the cutest things for holidays , send pictures , silly report cards , And really try to connect with us! None of that now. Once in a blue moon we get pictures and no communication. The atmosphere seems so different now, and while most of the staff are lovely , others seem too nervous around some dogs (mine included) and they aren't afraid to vocalize if they don't want to walk a dog back at drop off -. My pup takes a bit to warm up To new faces, let alone when 8 new staff show up!! Luckily I bit my tongue the numerous times this has happened - newsflash she won't get used to you if you avoid her I hope they can bring some of the warmth back here that the original owners worked so hard on. read more

Another glowing review for our friends at BcWT - this time for their pup k program. We recently adopted a puppy after the passing of our girl, Zoe. We brought Sophie here for her first parent/pup group class with Nathan this last Saturday. Great experience from the start - We were greeted in the parking lot and walked in to help our puppy adjust, met Nathan inside with the rest of the parents and puppies and had an hour of helpful, positive training. The class is just as much for the pup parents as it is the pets and Nathan was super about giving the why behind all of the commands he taught. I picked her up today from her first all day and got some brief updates and we were on our way home ...and got a report card about her first day with pics via email. We're only a couple days into our six week program but it's been a lovely experience so far that's worth every penny. read more

My golden doodles have been going there since they were babies. They also board there when we go away. Staff is there for overnight boarding unlike other facilities. I can't say enough good things about Bow Chika Wow Town! The staff is exceptional (especially Nicole)! I had to board my two dogs for a wedding, and one of them, Eva, had never been away from me in the 7 years I've had her. She is terrified of other people so I knew this would be a challenge. Her brother, Magnum, used to go to daycare but hadn't gone in over 7 years, so I was excited to get him back to playing with other pups, yet nervous there would be a learning curve in his old age. I was nervous about how Eva would react to staff, but I brought them a few times before the stay to get used to it. As expected, Eva was petrified. I brought them a few more times and did a trial overnight stay before the 6-day board. By the end of it, she was her happy-go-lucky self having the time of her life, something I didn't think I'd ever see! They sent me pictures, videos, and report cards while I was away, easing my mind completely. They never gave up on her, and never made me feel like she couldn't be part of " the town". Magnum had a blast at daycare and they loved on the two of them while I was away. They truly gave me and my pups a new lease on life. Fantastic, AND I drove 42 miles each way to get here. Seriously, 84 miles so that the pup could play on this frigid day. Call me crazy, but do YOU want to stand outside with 16" of snow for an hour? No. My dog? Well, he does, but he is fluffy..... Knowing my (limited) options in Boston, I did a Google search for indoor Providence dog parks, and up came BCWT. I was THRILLED to discover that we could come in for drop-in play for only $8.00; most places here (and in Washington DC where we lived for a year) offer this only for "regular" daycare pups or those that have some sort of membership. Into the car we went, armed with vet records, and the pup had a blast. There was a nice mix of other dogs, and convenient to the outdoors in case anyone (of the four-legged variety!) needs to "go". I was impressed with their steam-cleaning type vacuum in case there were any accidents, and how quickly they were cleaned up, AND there was no "doggie smell". We stayed for over an hour, and left with one very exhausted dog. We'll definitely be back!! read more

My husband and I brought our 6 month old Doberman puppy to play at Bow Chicka Wow Town and we were very impressed. There is a large play area (only open on the weekends for now) for the dogs to run around with some obstacles to help them with agility training. I had heard about this place for a while, but finally went to check it out this past weekend. As it was dreary out and there is an indoor dog park located on premise, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. Upon arrival, the staff confirmed they had our (my friend and my dog's) vaccination records; this is a prerequisite to attend. They also informed us that there was no charge for our first visit -- usually it's $8 for a day pass. However, the staff, knowing that we had never been there before, did not offer to show us around or give us a tour, they just sort of directed us to the indoor play area. There were several dogs already playing when we arrived. The attendant welcomed us and asked our dogs' names. We were advised about the policy to pick up after our dog and they were "off to the races". They do have a sanitizer which the attendant uses whenever an animal makes a mess; a long hose cleans and vacuums up the "leftovers". They had a great time playing with many of the dogs. The other pet parents were friendly; the pooches and people had fun. We learned they also have daycare, which is $28 for a full day. They are open 7A to 7P. They also offer boarding. We were informed as first time guests, we can take advantage of the daycare on our initial visit gratis, as well. I will plan to bring my pup for a day care visit sometime in the near future and see how it goes but she seem to love the indoor dog park! The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is the facility itself doesn't seem as nice, aesthetically, as other daycare locations we have been to. read more

I take my dogs to the BEST daycare place there is. The staff is amazing, they genuinely care and love these dogs-it's not just a "job" to them. They also post videos or pics every day on thier FB and there's a live feed you can watch if you want. They also offer different packages or discounts for more than one dog.. or if your pup is a rescue you get 15% off for that as well. I would not go anywhere else! I had heard of this place through the rescue we adopted our dog from, they had advertised a basic dog class starting soon, so we joined. The facility on the outside is a little sketchy but the inside is pretty nice. I know the new owners are working to update the inside. We have used the boarding, day care, training, and self wash station. I was very nervous the first time I left him (only for the night) but they were very sweet even when I called to check up on him. They also have a schedule of how the dog spends their day. He always comes home completely exhausted from daycare. We did the 5 week good dog 1.0 training with Melissa, she was super helpful and informative as well as very friendly and had a good attitude. Our pup had a lot of fun and we learned a lot. On our last visit we used the self wash station, it was clean and easy to use, they had a good amount of different shampoos and conditioners to choose from. Bow Chika Wow Town is now owned by the owners of Save One Soul Animal Rescue, so a portion of their revenue goes to the rescue which is a good feeling. We have loved our experience here and can't wait to come back. read more

The staff at Bow chicka Wow Town are true dog people. I have to say that every single staff member looks out for each fur baby in their care as of it was their own. Hope has been going for almost two years now and she loves her playtime and feels so comfortable with the routine in place for these pups. She even naps during "rest time" on her days off from the town. An indoor dog park where you can let your loyal friend run wild and fancy free?! Yes please. What a great establishment. Employees are decked out in referee shirts, which I find absolutely adorable. They are there monitoring the dogs and to clean away doggie doo reminants with their high powered steam cleaner. For an indoor dog park the cleanliness of this place amazes me. It doesn't even smell like dog! There are plenty of toys for your dog to play with and water bowls placed about. They have a big and small dog area, for those more timid dogs. Staff is super friendly and make every effort to learn your dog by name. It's like Cheers for dogs! I've had a great experience boarding my dog at Bow Chika Wow Town. I had had enough of another facility and decided to try BCWT for boarding and daycare when I had to take a five day trip out of town. Guess what: everything went perfectly! I called to check on her while on the trip and they told me she was doing great, playing, and eating all of her food, which tells me that she was treated well and cared for. I was so nervous about leaving her for five days, but she did great. BCWT even posted a few pictures of her playing on their facebook page, which I was so happy to see while I was away. My dog came home clean (not smelly or dirty), exhausted from five days of playing, and happy. Someone who previously reviewed this place said their pricing is exorbitant, but I disagree. I think it's very reasonable for the level of care and attention the dogs receive. I've paid similar rates for boarding at other facilities where the dogs don't get as much playtime. I also got a free night of boarding for signing up for their email newsletter, so the total amount for the 4 night/5 day stay was very reasonable and worth the peace of mind. I will definitely board my dog at BCWT again the next time I have to leave town. I only wish I lived closer so that I could use their daycare services regularly. read more

Great staff... very clean... a nice assortment of dogs and pet owners.. but, it is a VERY small area that the dogs get for indoor play :( They need a big building! Also, at night this place is really hard to find because it's in an office park with no lit signage. This is a good option for when you're desperate in the dead of winter and your dog needs to exert some pent up energy.. so for $8 plus tax it seems worth it. I've come here for the indoor dog park and also the unaffiliated training classes, through Courteous Canine. For the winter and rainy days, this place is great. It's $8 for a one time use of the indoor dog park or you can buy an unlimited monthly pass for around $50. I don't live very close to Warwick, so it was a bit of a drive for me after work. Unfortunately, their week day hours for the dog park are only 5-8:30pm. So, if you happen to work or take classes, etc during those time you might be out of luck! I ended up buying the unlimited pass for the month of December, but I found myself forcing us to go to get our monies worth. The facility itself is nice and they work pretty diligently to keep it clean. There are also "referees" to monitor dogs. They also have doggie daycare and overnight boarding, which I have never used. read more

I have also used them for boarding on two occasions and the staff is attentive and he loves not being cooped in a kennel all day and being able to play with his friends in daycare. Lousy lousy business! I'm sick to have picked up my dog after a weekend and finding an emotionally and physically broken dog! She had multiple contusions on both sides of her face and wasn't able to walk for 4 straight days! She had been forgotten in her sleeping quarters and as a result spun around and around constantly causing a bloody laceration under her tail and limbs so overused she couldn't walk. She was forgotten about Sunday morning also and wasn't fed! This has all been admitted to by the staff. I thought she was going to die. The Vet decided it was exhaustion and didn't want her brought in to the hospital because it would cause her even more trauma! How dare this business continue when no one knows what's going on with the animals in their care! Find somewhere else to board your animals! read more
