I really wish I had a better experience considering there was only one waitress trying to serve all the tables. I got the cowboy corn appetizer which was given to me still frozen on the inside. The gal I was with ordered the chicken strip combo. The chicken was "like jerky" and the fires were just not good. Maybe if they had cooks make sure the food was cooked right and more waitresses this would be the place to stop off the interstate but currently I would recommend to keep going. read more

Found myself semi stranded in Murdo due to icy weather. Decided to eat lunch at this restaurant. I had a cup of chili and some nachos. Both were good and warmed me up. My server, Sam, was very attentive and super sweet. The restaurant is clean and is attached to a wonderful gift shop and car museum. Definitely worth stopping and checking out. read more

We saw the sign for Buffalo Burgers so we went in. We were inside about five minutes and I knew these wait staff had no clue what was going on. The meth-head was doing her best but she would start the next thing before she finished the last thing she tried to do. There was a big girl with black hair and I could tell she was lost. Not like a new person lost but she wasn't smart enough to grasp what was going on around her. Meth girl took a break, I guess, and she was relieved by an older lady that tried hard but she was pretty much just alone trying to figure out what had been done and what had not been done. So, yeah, the service was so bad it made customers uncomfortable. We exchanged knowing looks. The food, ugh. My $4 "Buffalo " burger cost $14. Seriously, it was only slightly larger than a McDonalds cheeseburger. The fries were batter dipped and the only thing that was decent. Okay, I know it's hard to find workers, I know this place is out in a small town but the owner or manager or someone needs to be there watching these idiots. I'm serious, customers were uncomfortable by the incompetence. read more

Food was totally fine and service was good. We were happy. Enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and white chili (soup of the day) and a philly cheese steak with fries. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on 6 Aug, 2017 and we wish we hadn't. We had a cheeseburger and a buffalo burger which both ended up being indistinguishable from frozen patties, and they were cooked to death. One of us got soup with our burger and we weren't told that it was gone until all of the rest of the food came out, I know this can happen in restaurants but I heard our server explaining to another group the same thing. While preparing an ice cream dish, we overhead the staff consulting each other about whether a certain ingredient was bad because of the expiration date being expired. The first worker was told to smell it, to which she did and didn't seem to be to confident. She was then told to taste it, to which she replied "I don't wanna get sick if it's bad!" She then placed it back in the fridge. Last but not least was the cashier, he was an older guy, and when approached so we could pay our bill, he completely disregarded us until finally communicating through some rude grunts. We felt like unwelcome outsiders the whole time! read more

While traveling cross-country it's hard to tell which local restaurants are going to be worth it or not. Also, if it's going to be clean or not (which is mostly what i look for.) I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant (& bathrooms) were very clean. The food was standard diner food but a good hot meal and a nice break after long days in the car. I would recommend if passing through and need somewhere to stop for a quick bite. read more

The worst value I've ever experienced. I had to pay $14.45 for a breakfast burrito that was only as big as my hand and was mostly a tortilla. There was so little egg in it I could hardly notice it was there. The ham they used was just a couple thin slices of lunch meat. The hash browns were plain and straight out of the bag, I'm not even sure they put salt on them. Coffee tasted burnt. I wish there was something positive to say about this place but there isn't. Sure, there's plenty of parking but I assume that's because none of the locals will eat here. Do yourself a favor: go to the pilot across the street and get a subway sandwich. At least there you know exactly what you'll get. read more

The service was impeccable! My family of 5 with two children came in and were immediately welcomed to take a seat wherever we wanted and were shown the menu's. My two year old son who can't sit still for a second found the 50's style revolving stools entertaining while our waitress who was attentive quickly noticed my kids needs providing them with coloring pages and colors. She took our order and within 5 minutes we were all enjoying some good country cooking. read more

We had dinner here and the food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the service FAST. We had stopped at McDonald's for lunch and I kid you not we got our food faster here then there. It's also fun to try non chain places that are family owned! Stop in here and you get the small town vibe that is so refreshing. And their ice cream shop is AWESOME for the kids. read more
