The request was initially denied and the new patient was told then that they had a no refund policy for cancellations. When the new patient pushed the issue, the appointment clerk stated she would have the office manager call back. The office manager stated that they had expenses, but would not say what they were, but conceded to give a $50 refund. Even when the doctor got on the call, the full refund was not issued. He even stated that when a patient cancels, doctors still bill the insurance companies. I told him they did not because I knew that was insurance fraud. I would never go to this center and want to warn anyone else of their unethical and unprofessional policies.
