Not sure what's so European about that either. They did have a good collection of macaroons but cake options were limited and slightly over priced IMO for the quantity and quality. AMBIENCE & SERVICE: The bakery tries to be rustic and is kind of decently lit. It's actually very cramped and all the tables & chairs were not arranged as we walked in on one side. The other side had a lot of tables overlapping and no place to walk into even if you found a place. They then started to arrange the tables and chairs on the other side probably after 6 PM in the evening. Not sure what's stopped them from arranging it earlier? Didn't see any cleaning going on either. The staff there seem good but look a lot careless or disinterested or out of touch with the work. Paper towels/ napkins were hard to find and when asked for they just hand over one sheet/ slice of paper napkin. Like really for a table of 3? I would try not visit this place as the quality is very average in terms of food and ambience. BOTTOMLINE: A sub standard bakery cafe with decent options and variety serving bland 3-4 days old cakes that doesn't have to be this pricey within a cramped space and a lackluster service.
