Excellent food selection. Friendly service. European bakery ambiance. Great place for coffee lovers and those who want freshly baked pastries as well.

We love this little cafe and always come here when we visit Greenville... lovely place, nice music, delicious pastries and coffees, etc. Beautiful art on the walls, quaint outdoor seating, flowers on the tables... We had coffees and a day old scone which was still seriously delicious. They have fresh baked goods but I choose the day old. The best part was Annabelle, the barista and cashier. So lovely and the zen voice of an angel. Seriously I'm not making that up. Come here and enjoy a quiet moment and take in the music, smells and tastes of this cute cafe.

Came here the other night with friends. The staff was extremely kind and I loved that they still had a good variety into the evening. The coconut cake was great--can't wait to come back again!

I have visited this location many times as it is a convenient distance from my house. Usually decent pours, some pours however are not so "pretty". Delicious desserts and croissants. If you want it warmed up they will use a microwave and not a toaster/convection oven, which can make the food item more chewy. Overall they have tasty food and drinks. These things accompanied with their customer service makes this a pleasant visit.

I couldn't decide between two coffee drinks, so I tried both the Breve and the Cafe con leche. If you are looking for something creamy and delicious for the coffee taste do the breve. If you are looking for the same thing, but with some sweetness do the Cafe con leche. You can't go wrong with either choice. For food I ordered "Daryl's Chorizo Bowl" I don't know who Daryl is, but I am loving that chorizo. It has a base of eggs, covered with chorizo and a hint of cheese, onions and tomatoes. The drizzle of zesty green dressing and microgreens brings a freshness to a usually hearty dish. Staff was friendly, but it is laissez-faire vibe. You take your dirty dish (clean by the time you are done licking up all the deliciousness) to a rack at the back of the shop. To go boxes are placed by the utensil cart. Easy in and out. Did I mention they sell candles and other goodies (and I am not talking about the mouth-watering pastries or crepes) Overall a great place to visit in such a cute town.

Though my husband frequents here often, this may have been my first time visiting to post about it. Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. There are sofas, chairs, even tables with chairs. Some of the couches are quite low and, well used but are what I would expect at a coffee shop. The kind where you can curl up with a book though perhaps others may not like you hogging the couch I was meeting with a few other women and enjoyed a delicious chai latte with almond milk but instead posted the picture of what my friend ordered because of the adorable gingerbread man image on top of her latte. Mine was delicious and though I personally drink plain tea (sometimes with lemon) at home and not a coffee drinker, the latte was perfect on this foggy wet winter day. To be honest, it would have been perfect on any day. I was asked if I preferred a mug or the disposable cup, an option if it was small (I think though maybe large?) or medium size order. I had ordered a medium and there's something about having a handle, right? Plus less landfill item. Because I'm trying to reduce the amount of sugar intake from the holiday season (and had breakfast 90 minutes prior), I did not choose any of the baked goods, though tempting. I should have captured a photo to recall but there were muffins, cookies, etc CRAVE has WiFi available for its patrons and quite inviting to remain, not rushing anyone out. I saw people alone enjoying a drink and reading, others alone on their laptop, many with others enjoying each other's company and conversation. If you crave a place that will allow you to relax and/or have a pick-me-up drink, CRAVE certainly is a place to go. Because this is the anchor shop of a strip, there is ample parking along the parking lot on the side. And if you want full blown meals, there are options along the strip, one of which I have frequented often. I enjoyed my experience and thus give CRAVE a 5 star.

There was a gentle breeze, the temperature was in the 60s and I didn't experience noise or bugs. The service is excellent. They were quick and efficient. The dining area is quite spacious and despite being a peak morning period, there was more than enough places to sit. Ambience was nice with background music but not a lot of noise from patrons. I wanted to sit outside to be mindful of the surrounding. I watched a cloud move moderately quickly across the sky. My drink was excellent. I could taste the cocoa and coffee very distinctly. Perfect temperature. My bagel sandwich was good. Perfect temperature, but I presume it is premade not made in house. My wife loved her cappuccino so much she acquired two. She also got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. I liked the place since it had a nice variety of choices to eat and drink. There were bottled and canned drinks, also, in a glass door refrigerator. I don't live in the area but I'm here for fun for a couple of weeks. The center is nice and peaceful and very reminiscent of old world Italy (in which I have been). There are pigeons but not as many as in the old country. Definitely give them two thumbs up!

To make it even better, the baristas suggested a Valentine's nod to a Strawberry Latte, made with their own homemade strawberry syrup. It was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, and I loved that they took the time to walk me through how they make their syrups from scratch. The staff here is genuinely kind and thoughtful--they made choosing a seasonal drink feel fun and personal. Anytime someone sells me on a homemade treat, I'm in, and Mercato delivered beautifully. Between the cozy atmosphere, creative drinks, and warm service, this is exactly the kind of spot I'll keep coming back to.

However, don't let that fool you, because the space literally felt like a hidden gem that's been in Mauldin for a hot minute. Brooklyn provided exceptional service by greeting with a smile and timeless delivery of my two drinks, an amazing job in regards to her short period of time she's been there thus far. She also provided me with a short history and story behind Vita Nova; a woman-owned business who's story began in a small camper, hand makes all syrups for drinks, and seems to thrift her life away. The environment was also a hit, it being something that also would make every "trinket girl / boy" dreams come true. Would definitely recommend if you love eclectic ambiance, great drinks, and a small escape from the usual norm of what a coffee space should look like. Oh, and get their Honey Lavender w/ coconut milk and Caramel Latte. Definitely worth coming back for.
