I asked a Marquette local where is his go to place for coffee and he recommended The Crib. I went to go check it out! The Crib is located in a blue two story house. The first floor is where you order with some seating. There is more seating on the second floor. The roast their own beans and make their own syrups. I had a pour over of their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which I highly recommend! Their drink menu is very simple, which I very much appreciate. Also, they have alcohol on their drink menu for the evening. The Crib is the place to go for a good cup of joe! I'll be back again when I'm in the Marquette area!

Awesome place to hang with friends or work quietly in the corner. Great bean selection and extra special they roast their own beans. Had a great pour over and cortado.

Hot Matcha with coconut milk and a strong cup of fresh brew.

Don't let the name fool you. Crappie Coffee makes a seriously great cup of coffee. I had a fresh brew (non-acidic and robust) and my daughter had a hot matcha. Warm atmosphere and great, friendly service.

Not in town for long, but we have been here twice already, and the coffee is delicious! They also have tons of space to work and chill, AND there are vegan options in the cafe for my plant-based heroes out there!

    A Great Carmel Latte.

On my way to Copper Harbor for a bike thing and found the only coffee shop open....(till 10..yes) very friendly girl made me a Great Carmel latte and saved me. Nothing like a great cup of home roasted espresso. I'll be back. Thank you.

I was going to order a pour over, but the barista was nice enough to let me taste test their freshly brewed coffee.

A must have in Marquette. We have stopped here for years when visiting from Atlanta…read more Lots of flavors of ice cream but family is partial to Mackinaw Island fudge, vanilla with sheets of chocolate.

When the line is out the door - you know you arrived at a great place!…read more Food We had multiple people on our party and everyone left satisfied with smiles on their faces despite the rain. The ice cream was fresh, tasted delicious, with several flavors to pick from. The workers suggested delicious flavors that were the most popular. Their suggestions were on point. The prices were perfect as a good value for the scoops given. I had a waffle cone with black cherry and Mackinac Island fudge. My niece really enjoyed her fudge sundae. She ate it so quick we offered her another scoop. To her it was just realllllly good (and she was full off of the portion). I had the Black Cherry ice cream - HIGHLY RECOMMEND- for it had big chunks of black cherries and a nice mild cherry flavor for the base. It was rich and creamy. Mackinac Island Fudge is also highly noteworthy. It has a velvety vanilla base with thick fudge swirls that will even stick out in a scoop from the generous portions. It pairs perfectly with the Black Cherry. The workers mentioned it is very popular. Cleanliness The floor was even clean even though it was super busy. They used clean scoopers for the ice cream. The workers appeared to follow all food safety guidelines (and go above for cleanliness). They took extra time to wear gloves and go above and beyond for our peanut allergy person. They ensured an excellent experience with their steadfast inspection of ingredients. This resulted in her enjoying her ice cream without a reaction. The bathroom was clean with nice foot pedals for the water dispenser. Service All of the workers there were hard working, cheerful, and friendly. My Uncle enjoyed talking to one worker about the sports she plays. We had several questions and the answered all of them. There was not a slow moment for them (line out the door); however, they kept up their hustle and friendliness. Dogs If you bring your fur babies it appears they need to stay outside. Only service animals are allowed inside. Overall, if you are in Marquette, Michigan, you need to stop or plan on it. There is even a nice flower spot around a cow for pictures. Inside there are multiple tables in front of a wall mural of a cow pasture. Highly recommend for all parties to take the time to stop. Several instagram worthy spots for perfect photos.
