It's 2 mins walk from Highbury & Islington, so very accessible as a place to escape from talking shop in the city! The only slight complaint was the music was too quiet. I LOVED being able to talk, but if it was on 3, then it needed to go up to 5. Though I think the very friendly & good service bar guy said the side speakers were turned down accidentally when I pointed it out. There are tables in the room beyond the bar, and there's an outdoor beer garden for smoking, and eating/drinking in warmer weather. As for beverages, it's a traditional English pub, with some cask ale choices, and the usual assortment of continental lagers. Unfortunately none of the new wave of excellent London beers is available (Kernel, Meantime, Camden, London Fields), but I'm hoping that changes soon. There's of course a full bar available as well.
