Came here today for lunch. I have been here before, and have never been disappointed. The food is universally good and well-prepared. Rarely do I look at a menu and want to try everything on it. The chef obviously has agreat imagination, and executes that to a fantastic dish. I had the fried ham hock, which was tasty and looked really good too, followed by the beef fillet, which was cooked to perfection, and was delicious. My friend had gazpacho to start, which was very flavoursome, without a hint of garlic, followed by the herb-encrusted chicken which he finished up with alacrity. We both had pudding; I the hazelnut clotted cream ice cream (sublime) and he the chocolate mousse and truffles (hoovered up quickly). We ended with coffee and home made fudge; just too good to miss! Everything was beautifully presented; the staff were attentive, there when you needed them, and smiling too. Great meal, great service and I will continue to come here lots. read more
