This is the Express which is a little bit cheaper than the other Express stores that you might find around the country in malls, because it's a factory outlet, but it's not that much cheaper unless there's a big sale on so I recommend coming here when there is indeed a big sale on. I like it but it's not exactly what I have in mind along the lines of my style so it's a little hit or miss in that regard. But the Miss that I Hit (Barbie) likes it here a lot, it's one of her faves, so she insisted on a 4 rather than a 3. Macy's is a great store if you're from a past generation and have older traditional values. These days they seem republican and antiquated and their prices are high and they're not moving things into the future at the same pace as the likes of JC Penney, which aren't themselves the most amazing, but at least they're getting some things more right than Macy's. This particular location is the first ever discounted Macy's in Houston, think the Macy's equivalent of Nordstrom Rack or something like that, maybe Saks Off Broadway. So you'll find much better deals here than at the regular Macy's, and that's why I gave them three stars. It's good to have this chain in Houston, but as Barbie will attest, the clothes for women are not the greatest, and even with all the discounts, they're still not cheap enough to tempt us to buy them.
