Good gym, but I had to knock off one star due to fact this place is crawling with jerks by the sack loads bouncing them basketballs loudly and rudely while me trying to run the treadmill. Gets noisy in here so pop in your earbuds or iPods or whatever it us you have to pop in your ears. The weight room part is pretty fun, it does get a bit smelly with really muscular men all around, all that sweat and testosterone and steroids and that Man ego, you simply got to love it...Place will motivate you. Friendly members who will help you obtain your steroid goals and advice on how to get really big. Place isn't half bad, now if they could just stop bouncing them basketballs so rudely while I'm trying to workout maybe we bump this ip to 5 stars right? read more

I attempted to cancel my membership in 2020 due to concerns about Covid. They talked me into just putting it on hold. When the hold was up in later 2020, I again contacted them to cancel and again they encouraged an extended hold. I believed they would contact me before beginning to charge my account, because as of January 1, 2021, Covid was still a huge safety concern. They went ahead and charged me. I didn't realize it until they had charged me for 3 months of membership. I had not used any of their services, yet they quietly charged me without any kind of notification. In fact, I was receiving emails from them encouraging me to join, which lead me to fully believe my membership was no longer active. I requested a refund for my 3 months of charges, and was denied. I will never go back to this facility. read more

If you want to become superman, then spiece is all you will ever need. From the track, to the courts.. Spiece has it all even a daycare. They offer a variety of fitness classes and even special classes such as ninjutsu/bujinkan. They also have a small cafe and a pool as a bonus, with a spa and salon, etc. etc... It's definitely the place to go to improve your body all around. All they need now is a church then we have mind, body, and spirit, too powerful. Now Spiece can get quite busy at times especially during various tournaments, volleyball and basketball especially. I tend to workout in the morning and at that time its hardly crowded. With all of the amenities Spiece offers one would expect to pay a premium, pretty expensive still compared to bigger gyms like LA fitness and Lifetime fitness in INDY. To that point there is another gym up the road Max fitness that is much more affordable and they have 24hr access. For those reasons I could not give Spiece 5 stars, but again its a great all around temple for the body and you won't find another place like this in the Fort Wayne area. read more

After a bad taste in my mouth from MaxFitness, I decided to buck up and pay the extra to Belong to a gym rather than just go to one. I had an excellent experience with Kelly who signed me up. Everyone is very friendly and nice and helpful. Always smiles and "have a nice day!" Just a cheery gym. I am a serious bodybuilder who likes his gym to be exactly that and Spiece did not let me down. Roomy locker room, pool, spa, great lifting area with a huge multi-purpose room with massive tires to flip and lots of DL platforms and racks. Yes the equipment is on the older side but very well taken care of by caring members and staff. I am happy here and all the people around me seem happy too. Lots of beautiful people and those that are still trying hard to keep looking better and better each day. I am very satisfied and can have my gym bag with me rather than like at MaxFitness who have rules that make you sick knowing that a gym has a rule of no chalk, no gym bag on the floor? Well MaxFitness that's fine cause now I'm at Spiece and I'm loving every moment. Hope to see you there soon! read more

Spiece Fitness is inside the Spiece Fieldhouse, so your first time in the building can be little overwhelming - there is a lot going on. But, they have everything - walking track, pool, lots of classes, and lots of equipment. I haven't joined yet because it is a little out of my price range, but I drop into Zumba and Aqua Zumba classes from time to time. read more

Spiece Fitness has been a home to me for over 4 years. They have been a savor coming from a large southern city in the winter time with their beautiful pool, sauna, and indoor track! The weight equipment is almost always available because they have a lot options. Also like that as a member the basketball courts are available for use when tournaments and leagues aren't being played. Having lived in a lot of major cities, this is one of the best all around gyms I have been to. I recommended it to everyone! read more

Bought a groupon pass and took a class kickboxing class here while on out of town travel. Very convenient location and although this is a very busy sports gymnasium I had no trouble finding a parking spot. The instructor was fantastic! The class was called Fight. No special equipment needed and the moves were easy to learn. I will definitely return for another class! read more

I love this place!!! I'm visiting from Florida this month and needed a place to work out while in town. I am SO glad I found this gym. It has everything you could possibly need, excellent staff, outstanding equipment, tons of amenities. I've never had to wait for any machine (there are tons), the facilities are very clean, and they have anything you can think of including a food counter where you can get lunch, which you would think would be overpriced, but isn't. And its really neat inside, too. I was told the owner is a collector of art and memorabilia, so it's kind of like working out in an art gallery/museum, which is a nice distraction when you are getting tired on the treadmill. Even if you don't normally exercise at a gym, you have to check this place out. Best gym ever. read more
