He left with hematomas on his ears and shaking his head. I have had these breed for decades and have worked with many groomers. I have never had this negative experience with another groomer. My dog is still terrified when we walk by this groomer's door. Now we have a groomer who my dog is excited to see and absolutely no issues with his ears or otherwise. We also gave her Trazodone to help ensure she would be calm and relaxed for the grooming. I took time off from work to be home for the appointment, only to receive an email about 30 minutes beforehand stating there would be an additional $100 "handling fee." I never saw the email in time, and no one called or texted to discuss it. Instead, no one showed up for the appointment. The complete lack of communication, professionalism, and consideration for my time was extremely disappointing. After confirming the price, preparing our pet, and taking time off from work, I expected much better customer service.
