I get dip every time and I love the fact that my nails are stronger than ever. Some nail salons grind your real nails so far down they become weak and full of divets, but the care and process that these two use has left me satisfied every time. This place gave my wife and I the best pedicures we've had. The staff is very personable and amazing. They aren't aggressive at all. Very kind, amazing and attentive to detail. I would be a frequent guest if I didn't live in Oakland. Snickers the pup did bark at me but it was only because I didn't give him rubs. After the runs, he and I were great. I've had my nails and pedicure done here a couple of times.they have been great! My only concern one of the hairdressers always has her barking dog in there. I have said something about it but she gets very rude about it! Thank you Lynn for doing a great job on my nails. Lynn was quick, she was very friendly, and she had a great selection of colors. I typically pick a pale color that matches my skin tone and I prefer shorter nails. She had a lot of bright color options but also some great pale/neutral colors. The pictures I included show my nails 10 days after my dip manicure, they are still going strong! The only criticism I have is, some of the nails seem a bit wide and I prefer my nails to be filed very straight on the sides. I never mentioned this to Lynn but I will next time I'm there and I know she will be able to fix them! I paid cash for my nails but I'm unsure if she also takes card. Definitely call and ask before arriving. There is also an ATM in the same parking lot so don't worry! read more

I used to go to Michelle for years off and on for wash and flat iron...My close friend and hair stylist for 20 years that does my color and highlights so beautifuly was moving to Reno I mentioned it to Michelle that I was thinking if going to my girlfriend at julians spa for color she told me she could do it no problem! She charged me $35 more than my old gal without highlights well she finished and a week later it already faded my grey was showing but roots I called her after paying her $135.00 for one weeks color was not at all professional nor good business I called her she said she didn't leave it on long enough for processing the color! So we made another appt for week n half later well the day before she called and had excuses on not being comfortable etc well really if she had been honest in the first place I could have went to Julians ! Its a little late now and so she never made it right never offered to recompesate me or nothing so I got one weeks of color for $135.00! But God truly blessed me even though I lost the money and she never made things right My old gal moved back and redid her mess plus put back the beautiful highlights after $105.00 later She and God both told me don't ever go there again and I wont! Gods golden rule do on to others as you'd want do e to you I know she wouldn't have had her hair done for $135.00 and a week later its the same no money back or making excuses ! read more

I love Michelle! First of all, the salon is welcoming, family friendly and clean. Second, there's a fur baby named Snickers. He was so sweet w my two year old daughter. Michelle really listens to what you want & she has a lot of experience. She got me in and out quickly. Also, we did something different and I told her I wanted more layers and she was glad to add more. I am happy w my hair, it looks healthier and she added a bit of blonde. Had an amazing experience with Lin she did an amazing job and was the biggest help to me when she didn't have any appointments open when I called last minute she went out of her way to stay late so that I could get a full set! Weird experience. Place was recommended by a friend. Called for appointment a few days ahead for me and my daughter. Drive the 45 minutes there, arrived about five minutes early. When we walked into to the rather small room, no one greeted us or acknowledged us in anyway. We stood there awkwardly for a bit then sat down next to a hairdresser doing a color. After a few more minutes I asked if Melissa was there because we had appointments with her. I was assuming maybe Melissa was at lunch "I'm Melissa" was all she said. No "I'll be right with you" or "just let me get this client settled". Nothing. Went back to color. I had hoped to get a pedicure while my daughter had her haircut but the manicurist didn't acknowledge us either but did acknowledge all the locals who came in warmly. Clearly this is a poplular place but there we sat for another 15 minutes. We had allotted an hour and a half for this but that time was quickly being eaten up so we talked about how it didn't look like she would get where she needed to go that afternoon at this rate. I'm sure Melissa could hear us but again no acknowledgement. So we quietly got up and left. I told my friend who referred me and she said it's not usually like that so maybe you will have a better experience. read more
