I've been here more times than I can count. Since I moved to Fargo I became hooked on nutrition shops and that hankering has never subsided. But Elite is the kickstarter of my habit. In high school my friend and I would stop here after school every single day we had a basketball game- whether home or away there was a tea and shake in our hands. I'm in no way superstitious but we certainly had a ritual for Elite. Coming back a few years later the inside has been remodeled, which is good because it really needed a re-vamping. And with the new Herbalife nutrition shop norms, Elite has also adjusted their menu to keep up with the times. Unfortunately this means the prices are also a lot higher. When I used to go, it was $7 total for a tea and shake and we used to think that was outrageous. Now it's about $7 for just a tea or a shake- double or more for both. Oh, to be in the past. I still love Elite, but with their updates I became more disappointed in them than I have ever been. Their shakes are still the same, but the teas are the difference. They used to be soo good- they were the only shop in town that put a pop of flavor in so that they were nice and tart. But now the teas are all powdery- they hardly mix them up and it's like drinking a very chalky, grainy tea. I thought that this was maybe just a one or two time thing, but it's been every single time I've gone. Which is too bad- most other nutrition places shake up their teas to make sure that the powder absorbs, but for some reason not here. Elite will no longer be my first choice for Fargo nutrition places, but it's one of the more convenient nearby ones which is why I'll go. Plus, they have text ahead and that's always so nice!

Upon trying to open the bag that it was heated in, it appeared some of the plastic might have gotten too hot and was harder to open than expected. Also, the burrito itself didn't appear to be correctly cooked. Although extremely hot, the tortilla seemed underdone and was very doughy. Mondays are my favorite when the tea option includes a margarita flavor. Between the blenders and the music, it is generally pretty loud. However, the majority of the visitors get their shake and go. At this point, I decided to drive to the store which is a couple blocks away. I explained to the person working at the till that we never received our order. They said they'd check into it but proceed to help everyone else in the store. They said they remember giving it to the delivery person. I reiterated we never received the order. We have a doorbell camera and would have been notified if anyone came near our front door. At this point the employee checked the order history with the lady in back. They confirmed our order. The lady said they made it. To which I repeated again that I never received it. At this point the lady goes back and the person at the till keeps helping new customers. I'm not sure if they're re-making our order or what is happening at this point. 30 minutes later. The person at the till said they can't remake the order again. I repeated that we hadn't received our order and that I tried calling multiple times before driving in. He said the phone never rang we would have to take it up with DoorDash. We did not receive any DoorDash information with our order, so that's not possible.... At this point, I asked to speak with the manager. He went in back, said that they would be in Monday. After which I leave extremely angry. When I got back home. I found the order multiple units down between garages. They did not come anywhere near our door. Our smoothies were melted, my sandwich was cold and my wife's food items were gone. I've just tried calling the store multiple times to speak to the manager. The phone still disconnects immediately. This is the worst customer experience I've had in quite some time. I would advise everyone to avoid this location if possible. At the very least, do not order delivery.

My favorite boba shop in Fargo!…read more A cute hidden away boba shop in downtown Fargo alleyway. With some of the best customer service and authentic drinks. The drink quality here was great: 100% fresh watermelon slush: (no syrups) was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed on a hot day without being that fake watermelon flavor that comes from the syrup. It was very refreshing and came in a huge cup for such a reasonable price. Thai Tea: This is one of the best Thai teas I've had in Fargo, uses real Thai tea leaves with sweetener and has a very delicious Thai tea taste without being too sweet (even at regular sweetness). 10x better than the Thai tea I tried at a different cafe by the mall yesterday. Also was such a good price too. The man working here was incredibly nice and helpful and even let me try how the Thai tea would taste at regular sweetness before buying. Amazing customer service here. Highly recommend you check out for a sweet treat in downtown Fargo. If there was any cons, it would be that there weren't too many actual teas on the menu, and the store has no sitting places yet. But that's quite normal for boba shops.
