We have been driving from Portland on our way to Chicago. Along the way we have stopped at many purveyors of coffee but Meg A Latte Coffee House is now at the top of our list. The barista we met was very friendly. We asked for a suggestion for something hot and a little sweet. She recommended a seasonal item, a Lavender Coconut White Mocha, that was featured a couple of months prior and was very popular. We definitely wanted one of those! We also ordered a Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. The lavender coconut white mocha was luscious! The mocha and lavender flavors together made this a real treat. The brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso was a sweet delight. We wish we lived closer to Meg A Latte so we could take advantage of more of their coffee temptations! Yum! read more

It's a new shop so I'm sure it'll get better with time, but I was so disappointed in my experience. The Good: - drinks are delicious and they have a fun variety of flavors. Our trio tried a lavender latte and brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso. We were all pleased. - nice ambiance The Bad: - the "scone" is horrible, if you can even call it a scone. It's not anything like a typical scone. Neither my friend nor I finished ours because it was so bad. - the door lets in so much cold air. The owners should figure out something to mitigate that draft in the winter. - not enough seating - long wait time Overall, I'd recommend coming here for coffee drinks but not food. I love mega latte! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming! I have my go to drinks that never fail, and the kitchen staff always makes my avocado toast with egg perfectly. Never seen a business with the most unpleasant, apathetic and unhelpful staff. Placed a huge online order and was not ready at promised time. Staff was "working on it". I'm usually a patient person so I waited politely. What they were working on were walk-ins and ignored finishing my drinks order. I alerted them to my presence three times and finally one staff member pushed the last two of my drinks to me and simply quipped 'here's your order" and turned away. I realize they were busy and probably short-staffed but completely unacceptable that I was left waiting for my order for almost 20 minutes after promised time while they fulfilled every walk in orders after me. Also, an item was missing. I ended being late for my breakfast appointment and threw my morning into chaos. If they are unable to fulfill orders on time, perhaps they should let me know (which no one cared to acknowledge me when I approached the on-line order counter nor the whole time I was there waiting) or simply don't take them. Next time, I will take my business elsewhere. It was apparent that they simply did not care. What a shame for me to give them my business. I even tipped them. read more

Delicious coffee and the staff was so nice. I asked questions about the menu and they explained it to me kindly. The specialty options are very cool and I loved the avocado toast! The atmosphere is so nice and it is so cute inside- perfect for meeting a friend or getting some work done! I definitely recommend!! read more

Not enough outlets or seating. WiFi wouldn't work and when I told an employee he told me I was connecting wrong, even though I have been here before and it worked just fine. Waited at the counter for five minutes without being helped while the two baristas worked and the supervisor stood in the lobby and chatted to someone. Very little allergen friendly options.
