I typically get the Island Green smoothie, which I'd like to think is good for me with the fresh spinach and kale, but also strong notes of mango, pineapple and banana. Smoothness is good, necessary in a smoothie, hence the name. Priced reasonably! They're pretty large drinks. Disappointed in the styrofoam cups, but they're cheap and good insulators I guess. My sister gets the Blueberry Bliss. She says, "Berry good." Didn't care for the cashier handling money with gloves on and then not changing the gloves when bringing the drinks out. Cleanliness was so so. No wifi. Also, the Chicken Caesar wraps here are delicious. read more

Had the absolute worst experience with an Uber order from the 13th avenue location and the young lady working was the rudest person ever when they forgot $10-14 worth of my order offers a smoothie card dude I ordered food and paid for food! I ask when the manager would be in and get not for a long time and more excuses and then hung up on! Tried multiple times to get a hold of management and have yet to hear back even after contacting both stores and them claiming they were contacting the owner I am just disappointed and probably going to take my business elsewhere from this point forward since they don't seem to care how their employees treat loyal customers who literally feel ripped off and truly were! read more

Got my food fast, but my smoothie tasted like watered down nothing. I got the chia banana boost and it doesn't taste like bananas and very obviously doesn't have the dates in it like it's supposed to. It has no sweetness at all, however, My Buffalo chicken wrap was wonderful! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for legitimate smoothies. I got the sunset sunrise smoothie and I could tell right away there was little or practically no fruit. It tasted just like a whipped up slush. If you advertise smoothies I expect real fruit, especially when the price of the smoothie reflects that of real fruit. I am getting tired of eating fast food junk all the time and really wanted to eat something more healthy but reasonably priced. I also got a chicken Caesar salad with my smoothie. There was barely any chicken in it, barely any Parmesan cheese and it just lacked flavor over all. The Caesar dressing was really watered down. read more

I love Tropical Smoothie, always have! The sunshine smoothie and Caesar chicken wrap are my go-to's! I don't think of it as a "low calorie" option obviously because it's not, tortillas, mayo, salad dressing, fruit, etc all have calories, sugars and carbs people! But the ingredients you are consuming are much healthier then a greasy fast food hamburger and fries :) I eat half the wrap and half the smoothie and save the rest for meal 2! I have been here at least a half dozen times. There are a few things that could really use improvement. 1. They allow you to get smoothies without sugar (which is great), however one time I did and it tasted fine on that particular smoothie. The second time I did this the smoothie I ordered without sugar was inedible. In my opinion, they should recommend that some of the smoothies on the menu are not palatable without sugar, otherwise you are basically wasting money. 2. To me, it seems to take an inordinate amount of time to make a smoothie! I thought I would go there to get something "quick" and get back to work - this has made me late every time. I like this place for a quick, healthy breakfast or lunch. Fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies, to which you can add flax, protein, or vitamins. They also have salads, wraps, sandwiches and tacos. I like them because they have Beyond Meat vegan chicken substitute. The workers are mostly high school kids but they are polite and seem to know what they are doing. The gm is also nice. read more

Yay! They finally opened a second location closer to my house! Now I don't have to drive across town to get my smoothies! The new location is a little bigger than the original and has more seating including up at the bar so you can watch them make the smoothies. I love the food and smoothies at TSC. That being said, the quality at this location definitely varies. Not sure if it depends on who is working or who's in a bad mood that day, but the wraps will either be awesome and well put-together, or the contents will just be thrown together and it will be mostly just the bread that you're tasting. My husband and I went for a b day lunch today. We ordered two bowls; Thai chicken and a Baja chicken which was a second choice because they were out of the tomato salsa needed on our first choice. When paying I was told he didn't have any ones for change. I said I would talk quarters. I also exchange five ones for a five so he would have change for next customer( me trying to be helpful). We waited 20 minutes and finally an employee brought out two wraps, I explained we had ordered bowls. Apparently due to the loud music , Marley, who took order, didn't hear me,even though my husband did hear and confirm I order bowls. When we finally got our order we had been waiting 30 plus minutes. Once we got home we found that they had given us a bowl of lettuce, carrot sticks and crunchy chips things. Hmmm, screwed again. I called to voice my complaint and was told there was no manager but sorry and they were not willing to do anything about it. They now owe me a ruined bday lunch and 7.49 for a bowl. I am a big fan of tropical smoothie cafe. The smoothies and booster options are good and the food is pretty good too. Really like the flatbread menu items. Only knock on this excellent healthy food option is the service which can be sub par. I have had frequent errors on orders: wrong smoothies, menu items or can't seem to get special instructions correct. Still recommend this place. read more
