When I tell you that Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich was FIYAAAAA. Holy moly. It is a genuinely unique and delicious take on an American breakfast classic. A little bit of spice and sweetness. Do yourself a favor and get it on sourdough. The pimento cheese can make it a little messy but I love that. It was so good I came back a few days later and brought the husband for a second try... he confirmed that it was, indeed, delicious. Our hibiscus tea and cold brew didn't wow us but it certainly did the job. The interior is eclectic, clean and organized. There is a water station that comes in handy. The Midtown Atlanta is perhaps not a good place for people who are serious about breakfast, but luckily there is this restaurant not too far away from it. The Daily has three branches in Atlanta, one near West Midtown, about 15min walk from Atlantic station, one in Inman Park, and the third in Buckhead. Their menu features a wide variety of food: toasts, breakfast bowls, yogurt bowls, wraps, pitas, tea and smoothie, etc. I have tried the Loaded Avocado Bowl, the Breakfast Burrito, Soft Scrambled Toast, as well as different kinds of teas and juice. One thing I like it very much is that the foods are generally very lightly seasoned. For example, I was told that the eggs in burrito "did not have salt" -- it did not taste bland though, because the tortilla and cheese are both salty. I also enjoy their sourdough very very much. Chewy, moist, slightly sour -- so good that I always ask for some extra. Besides food, the dining area was colorful and bright and spacious, with both small tables and communal tables for working/eating. What disappointed me a bit was my third visit. My soft scrambled egg was overcooked and I got my side of sourdough toasted with butter the first time. Despite this, I would love to come back and try more dishes! read more

One of the best coffee shops to work at in Atlanta. No time limit on parking, reliable WiFi, lots of seating, natural light- the list goes on. The food here isn't my favorite, so my go-to is the Iced Latte. It comes in a glass cup with The Daily's logo on it, and is very photogenic. It also tastes delicious. The only strange thing is that the total for it always comes out to $6.66. Just a little off putting. The service is great and the people are very friendly. Typically I've found that they give you a table number and bring your order out to you but today they just called out my name and then I found a seat. Regardless, it was ready quickly. The space itself is very cute and has lots of seating and natural lighting. The high ceilings make it feel very spacious and a good place to be productive. The space is much larger than it appears from the outside, and had many seats ranging from communal tables, to booths, to two person tables, to just seats around a coffee table. My only gripe is that they have certain seats reserved for people who are dining and then larger communal tables geared towards people with laptops. This doesn't bug me, except for the fact that the tables reserved for people dining are the only ones near outlets, and there are no outlets where they want people with laptops to sit. People don't follow these signs too closely and I have never had anyone say anything to me about it. Just an odd choice. As for parking, there are a few spots up front, some on the hill on the side of the building, and a lot in a lot at the bottom of the hill. It's very easy to find and is never an issue. If you come by in the next few weeks they have it decorated for the holidays and it looks adorable! read more

I've been to The Daily once before, but at a different location. That visit was very memorable and this one is shaping up to be the same. They have different and more flavorful choices than your average cafe and I've loved every sip and bite. Today I had the loaded avocado bowl and figgin' latte. Yum!!! I could eat a bowl like that every morning. It was packed with so many different flavors and the mini toast that came with it was not so mini. It was a lovely thick and crusty grilled piece that was the perfect carrier for all the little pieces in the bowl. I loved the way they combined the chili crisp and butternut squash. The service is very friendly at both locations. I appreciated the music playing in the background. The seating here is ample and diverse and the cafe including the bathrooms are clean. There is plenty of space for our friends with mobility needs in the cafe, bathrooms, and seating. Bathrooms are a single room and gender neutral. There is plenty of parking at this location in the lot or on the street. I really can't say enough good and will return. read more

The Daily is a great spot in West Midtown! One of the perks for this location is that there is plenty of parking which is super nice and we didn't have to wait for a table on a Saturday morning. Its fast casual which is great and I always love that they have a great seasonal menu at the Daily. I got the scrambled egg toast which I added bacon to and then the cherry garcia cold brew. Like I said, I think this place really shines with its fun and seasonal beverages and the cold brew was delicious. Not my favorite place, but wasn't bad. I had the avocado toast and added scrambled eggs. It was good, but not my favorite. It did have a good amount of avocado and it seemed really fresh. I get that it was a toast, but the bread was really toasted and hard to chew sometimes. I guess that last part is subjective, but putting it out there. The coffee was not the best, I had to add two packs of brown sugar to it since I didn't really like its flavor. People were really nice, so that's a plus. And service was great. The food came out at a good pace. The only thing is that our server was new, so no judgement at all, but he was confused as to which coffee was mine (almond milk) and which one was my boyfriends's. Again, no judgement since he was new and also really nice about it. BUT, I would have somebody with a little more experience helping him. At this point, we believe we drank each other's coffee, but oh well. The place is spacious and pretty. Good if you need to work from threre. Not a lot of parking though. read more

Was kind of disappointed in this place. Food was very small in portion with not much to offer, a bit underwhelming . Staff were super friendly and the building was great to grab food and talk. The only main reason for the low rating is because we came in with a large group and one of us order a simple shot of espresso, I make espresso at home so I know how easy it can be to mess up a pull of espresso. The espresso came out sour so we asked to just get another order, it came out sour again, we asked for a 3rd time and sour again after explaining it. Very strange for a coffee/breakfast place you'd expect to be able to pull expresso. read more

This cute cafe is located in west midtown Atlanta. It's kind of in the cut and parking is limited in the front but there sure and street parking available as well. You order at the front and receive a number and they will bring the food/coffee to you if you're ordering for here. The service is really good. The hospitality staff is very attentive and nice. I typically order a BLT and a coffee. The BLTs are always thick and yummy. This cafe has a set coffee menu but also offers various holiday menus as the seasons change! read more

This is a really cute cafe shop! I went during the weekend so it was slightly busy, but i can imagine this to be a great place to work from home! Even a place to study or meet. I went with a friend for a "fancy" coffee drink and some breakfast and was excited at the possibilities. I used to come to the Daily every single Saturday because it was the best breakfast burrito in town (probably still is). The food here is still pretty good, but lately has become less consistent, and prices have gone way up (I get it, inflation). However, it seems like there is a problem with service almost every single time I come. This time they couldn't print out order tickets, so our order got lost and we ended up waiting over half an hour for our food. Not the first time our order got misplaced somehow and I had to ask to figure out what was happening. Again, this place has great food but need to figure out what's going on with operations. I got the breakfast pita and that had tahini, cabbage, scramble eggs. It was great if you like fresh and light but still very filling this is the item to order. My husband got the 3 breakfast burrito which has the bacon and avocado in it. Worth the extra $5 bucks that it is to get that over the normal burrito. I love stopping by The Daily for both coffee and brunch on a casual Saturday with friends. The menu has plenty of options for coffee/tea, smoothies, & juice and has plenty of healthy & light options for food. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating and inviting with bright colored chairs and walls. This space is perfect to work or a casual meeting over coffee&food. The service is always welcoming and swift. You order at the front and they bring your fresh orders out to you at your table. For coffee, I tried the Hot Israeli Upside Down latte (I forgot what latte my friend grabbed - oops) and it was delicious! It had the right amount of sweetness for me. As for food, I got the Loaded Avocado and my friend grabbed the Pita Sandwich. We both finished our food and loved that we didn't feel guilty after finishing the plates. The Daily is next to a local farmer's market (also very cute) and down the street from Monday Night Brewing. Parking is limited but free - I've never had an issue for parking. I live down the street so I was able to walk there, but since there's not a sidewalk to get to the other side it was a little scary to run across traffic. read more

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. Tight parking but there is some on the street. It's very very cute. I'm in love with the interior design. There is tons of seating. Way more than expected. Seats are comfortable and it's bright. Service is nice. The staff is as attentive as expected. You order at the counter and they bring it to you if you are sitting in. Otherwise very basic for a coffee shop. Food I feel is hit or miss. I would probably stick more towards their baked goods and coffee than the actual food they have. My salad was fine but not pictured is my friends meal. Hers came out much later than mine and was cold. She ordered the soft scramble on toast. She was fighting to cute the toast. Oh The Daily! I love you so! I normally frequent the Inman Park location, but this particular weekend, I decided to check out the "Midtown" location. It was 8:15 AM on a Sunday, so I was the first one there. I was greeted by a sweet employee & placed my order. She was also the barista, so within a few minutes, my hot & delightful latte made its way to my table. Within another few minutes a cook brought out my salmon toast, bacon & scrambled eggs. I've always loved this place, but my recent visit left me really disappointed. I noticed a $.45 charge on my bill labeled "health benefits fee." When I asked what it was, I was told it was to help pay for employee health insurance. I fully support businesses taking care of their staff, but this kind of fee should be disclosed upfront -- not discovered on the receipt. What made it worse was that when I questioned it, the cashier offered to refund the $.45. With a line of people behind me, that felt awkward and unnecessary. Ask upfront if customers agree to the fee -- don't put us in the position of having to ask for a refund. I've always enjoyed coming here, but this practice felt misleading, and I won't be returning. read more

I was soo excited to try this place because the menu really spoke to me and the reviews were so good. Was really anticipating a 5 star review, but it didn't make the mark. To start, our lattes were decent. Definitely still good, but nothing to rave about. My egg pita on the other hand was quite good. I got the sauce on the side which was the right move bc it was soggy in itself at the bottom. My friend got an egg sandwich of sorts and said it was good, but nothing spectacular. I could really almost give 3 stars for the fact that we got pastries to go and they were so bad. I have had gluten free pastries before that were great, but these just were not it. My friend and I decided to meet up finally to work on some plans and decided to meet at The Daily. Upon arrival, it was quite nerve racking as most of the parking was filled but luckily they have a sign right as you enter the lot to go down the hill to the back for additional parking. That was very helpful. Upon entering, there was a long line (luckily I didn't have to stand in it as my friend ordered). Once I arrived and was settled, our food came out. So I would say based on the time I texted her my order and getting there, that was quite fast! Unfortunately I did not get a drink as I didn't know what I wanted when texted my friend my order and we didn't stay that long (more on that in a moment). As soon as I bit into the breakfast sandwich, I was instantly amazed. Like omg!!!! It was very flavorful! And I don't know what was all in the glaze on top but it was perfection. I highly recommend getting this sandwich if you go here. As for the seating, it was alarming based on the lines outside if there would be anywhere to sit. But it was very cute inside with enough seating. The only issue we ran into (which is why we didn't stay long) is that they shut their Wi-Fi off on the weekends as they have too many customers and the system gets overloaded. That was a new one for me!! Like what!!! For my friend and I, we both have weekday jobs and it's hard for us to link. So not knowing the Wi-Fi is cut off on the weekend and we had plans to work was disappointing. We ended up having to go to another coffee shop to work (and for me to finally get a drink). The Wi-Fi issue is major as we had plans around this location we didn't know. So if you plan to work here, have a hotspot or go on a weekday. Other than that, this was great!!! Love it! read more

Another place that I'm adding to my list of coffee shops to work at when I need to feel something! The Daily serves up coffee and delicious breakfast meals until 3:00 pm on weekdays. I started my day off with a cappuccino made with oat milk which was really good. I also saw some other interesting drinks that came out that I will go back to try such as their cinnamon roll smoothie and uniquely flavored lattes. After about an hour or so I also ordered a late breakfast: breakfast burrito with chicken shawarma. This burrito was delicious! Maybe one of the best I've ever had. Most times when I work from a coffee shop I have to leave early because I'm hungry. With the extensive menu here for both food and drinks you get the best of both worlds. This place is an excellent place to hang out and get some work done. The large windows really let the light in and there's a good amount of seating which makes The Daily feel nice and open. I like that they offer more than just pastries to eat. I got the smoked salmon toast which was fine, but not my favorite. I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes I got on the side more. Have you ever ate something so good you dream about it for months after? I tried The Daily last year with my boyfriend for the first time. I remember ordering the pita and then thinking "oh darn it doesn't have any meat". And as a lot of meat eaters out there know, a lack of meat can sometimes really downgrade a dish. Absolutely not the case. One bite into this pita and my mind was blown. One of the best things I have ever tried in my life, especially when paired with the hot sauce they have in the bottles. It has a perfect level of tang and savory and spice with the hot sauce - honestly incredible. I'd come back several times on my own on Sundays just to order this breakfast pita and the chai latte. I'm sure everything else on the menu is amazing but I simply couldn't not order this dish. I swear it even led to an epiphany in my research project when I went there one time to do work. Now that I'm graduated and no longer in Atlanta, sometimes I look back and miss this beautiful city and my friends, but above all I miss this amazing breakfast dish and the chai latte.
