Delicious Food. The restaurant has a romantic, quiet ambiance. The lighting and art is very soothing. Our server was very nice and patient with our 13 YO Birthday Girl. We ended the dinner with Chocolate Amaretto Cheesecake-Yum Best feature of dining here is validated parking inside a deck

Came here recently for late night drinks and had a great time. When we got there past 11pm, there was a 15 min wait for tables so we sat at the bar and opted to stay there the whole time because we liked the bartender and didn't plan on ordering a meal anyways. The cocktail menu was one of the best I've ever seen, multiple that I really wanted to try. I loved their signature deluxe take on an espresso martini with salted caramel liqueur, would 100% recommend. The peach martini was a little underwhelming but the Vi Olson Inside Out was amazingg. We got hummus which was a great serving size and came with warm naan. The cakes looked amazing although we didn't try any. Service was so nice and there was way more seating inside than I thought from seeing the outside. Loved the ambiance. Reasonable prices too. Overall: amazing late night vibe for classy drinks with a great drink selection, good apps, amazing service, and what looks like tasty cakes too. Would love to come back to try some.

We went strictly for deserts because this is a perfect place to get a desert and a nice glass of Cava to enjoy anytime of day. They have a variety of cakes and similar treats and a very nice selection of things to drink as well. We were sad to find the breakfast menu looked amazing because we didn't have a chance to have breakfast here and wished we had. Service was friendly and accommodating to our larger group who didn't know what we wanted to order.

Service- our waitress was very attentive and kind. No qualms. Ambience- has that classic traditional euro cafe vibe with lots of warm dark wood, small round glass tables, and indoor and outdoor seating. Classic, no problems. Food- I ordered a Belgium waffle with coconut mango, which was basically a waffle with powdered sugar, mango jam, and coconut flakes. The waffle was hot, crispy, delicious. The jam was sweet but tasted a bit generic and could have easily been mistaken for peach jam. The mango flavor just wasn't very apparent. It was good but not memorable and overall it was very one note and too sweet. I think the usage of fresh mango and a coconut cream, or a crunchy coconut flake, and an herb such as basil mint or thyme would have really elevated this. I also tried their spicy tortellini. This was good, the portion is nice, the temperature was piping hot, the tortellini had a good bite and texture. Where it lacked was in flavor and dimension. Again, it tasted like very one note and the cream and cheese and pasta just all kind of blend into one experience in a very bland way. There wasn't no variety in texture or flavor, no pops of color, no sense of fresh herbs or citrus, no differentiating textures. Overall, with what limited portion of the menu I tried, I wouldn't return for these items. They were just okay and they didn't perform to the level I expected for such a well known cafe in Atlanta.

Fun spot. Love the decor. Food is overpriced, but good. Service was great. Spicy seafood dip was not spicy, but had a great flavor. My beet root salad was very good. I even liked the pickles beets. We came back after the show and got dessert. My Reece's Cheesecake was top notch.

This cafe was right next to the hotel we were staying at (Loews Hotel), so we decided to stop by for brunch, and we were very happy we did! We visited on a Saturday morning and were immediately seated as a party of 5, which we were surprised by considering the people in front of us were given a wait time. The vibe of the space gives off European chic and made the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was decent. I really enjoyed the American Omelette. I also tried a side of the French toast to satisfy my sweet tooth, which was decent and got the job done (but nothing super memorable). Overall, all of the food was a hit amongst our table. Our server was very kind, attentive, and answered all of our questions. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Cafe Intermezzo!

Cafe Intermezzo in Midtown has long been one of my favorite spots for desserts to go, but this time my party and I decided to dine in and really enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered one of my personal favorites, the tres leches cake, which is always a solid choice. We were seated in Betty's section, and she was very attentive and quick throughout the evening. We only ordered desserts and water this visit, but the experience was still lovely. There was a slight misunderstanding when the tiramisu cake was brought out instead of the tiramisu cheesecake that was ordered. Betty immediately corrected it with no issue and quickly brought out the cheesecake, which ended up being really delicious. Cafe Intermezzo is such a great spot for catching up with friends, a casual date night, or simply satisfying a dessert craving. Their cheesecakes and cakes are consistently good, and they also make some excellent cocktails, although I skipped drinks this visit. Overall, it is still one of my favorite dessert spots in Midtown.

I just stumbled across this place while shopping at perimeter mall. I was originally looking for a coffee shop. I briefly looked it up on Google and thought to trying it. It's in the cutest shopping mall with other restaurants and shops. The café is French themed. Very dark and moody with lots of mirrors that make the café feel much bigger than what it is. Multiple water fountains, music was peaceful. We had ordered coffee and salad. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and kind. Although I didn't get to try their desserts they looked delicious. It looks very fancy, but don't let it fool you. This is a very low-key cool spot to go to. Would definitely go again.

This was my first time visiting Café Intermezzo in Atlanta, and it was such a wonderful experience. I met up with a few friends there, and I quickly learned about the history of the restaurant and how it has been a part of the Atlanta area since the 1970s. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect setting for catching up and enjoying good conversation. Our waiter was attentive, accommodating, and took great care of our group of five throughout the visit. I ordered the white chocolate hot chocolate, and it was served in a beautiful cup overflowing with marshmallows, making it feel like a special treat. My meal was delicious, and everyone in our group seemed to thoroughly enjoy their food as well. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I can definitely see why this restaurant has remained a favorite for so many years.

    Cannoli cheesecake
    Samantha L.

Food: I only ordered cake here since I heard this place is best known for their cakes and coffee, and not as well liked for their food. I was surprised that they only had cheesecake and not actual cakes. Nonetheless, we got the cannoli cheesecake which I enjoyed. It was a good balance of light and fluffy from the makeshift cannoli cream with the rich and creaminess from the NY-style cheesecake. I will say I was disappointed that they didn't add real cannoli cream, or they make their cannoli cream very different than how it's typically make. Even the half cannoli on top was stuffed with whipped cream and frosting, instead of cannoli cream. Also, they added an orange extract or liquor to the cake which gave it a strange taste. But it was still tasty and the slice is massive - definitely enough for two people. Ambiance: the place is very cute instead. It gives off European-vibes and I really liked the ambiance. Location: they are located in Midtown, a few blocks from Piedmont Park. They validate parking (up to 2 hours) at the Loews hotel garage around the corner. Service: the host and server were very kind and attentive. They constantly checked in on us and refilled our waters.

I ordered the cafe alpine and it did not disappoint. Very good! Very French restaurant. Dark ambiance. We sat the bar, the bar tender was friendly.

Not one, not two, but THREE delectable vegan cake options!! I tried the chocolate raspberry mousse and the strawberry cake, and both were absolutely out of this world. They also had a carrot cake, making this hands down the best spot for vegan cake options in Atlanta. Service was impeccable. The hostess and server was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The ambience was lovely and I would absolutely come back. Update: I seriously struggled with parking. (It took about 20 minutes just to sort out bc parking across the street runs $20, the deck is $10 per 30 minutes, and while street parking is cheaper, it's nearly impossible to find); however, I was later informed (see manager's note below) that parking is free and they'll validate you for up to 2 hours if you park in the deck off of 12th St! So, don't repeat my mistake and get your ticket validated!

    THE Baked Brie
    Christelle R.

An Atlanta connoisseur, my husband made it a point to have us stop here - directly after landing at the airport and before checking into our hotel. From long ago, he has fond memories of the previous location and has raved about it. His nostalgia was bittersweet, as this new location is trying to carry on the vibe, but he feels strongly that it feels less charming and more corporate/transactional, given the area. On this Friday night, around 11 pm, I was impressed to see the cafe full and bustling with guests seated at outdoor tables in addition to a full indoor dining room. There was a short wait for a table for two, during which I admired the cheesecakes and cakes in the dessert case. The hosts were super friendly and welcomed us with charm and smiles, and our server was great. Our table was perfectly in the middle of it all, giving us a great view of all the happenings around us. This cafe is moody and dramatic and certainly exudes what you would picture as a European cafe. Picture marble statue motifs, heavy tapestry, ornate gold details, deep burgundy, and chocolate-brown decorative elements. The menus presented to us were last updated in June 2025, and I would have loved to see a fresh lineup for January. We weren't very hungry but decided to have quick drinks and share the baked Brie, which was a game-changer! The Brie is loaded with honey, pepper, and almonds, served with four toasted baguette slices. Baked Brie is a tried and true appetizer, but this one takes the cake as my favorite at this point -- and I will be trying to recreate it at home! I love that this Cafe is known for a great gathering place even in late hours. What a great option to grab a bite and enjoy conversation until 1 am!

It was decent and fairly priced, but unavailable the following visits I made. At some point I had to have a sandwich made with no bread because they were out. That was my last time there. Most of the baristas appear to hate working here or simply being on the planet lol. My last visit I was looped into an unwarranted political conversation when just trying to grab a coffee. I get that it's near a college campus so EVERYTHING is made unnecessarily political these days unfortunately, but maybe they should coach their folks to not engage unsuspecting customers in these conversations... literally just prioritize the JOB and the BUSINESS and the customer experience. I don't need or want a lecture on how unbearable you think our country is when I'm just trying to get a drink. It's a horrible business practice to assume ~anyone's~ social/political leaning and I hope we as a society can collectively move into a space where we stop normalizing this behavior. Hope they can pull it together because in theory it is a neighborhood asset. But currently? No bueno.

With the piping of the cinnamon cold cold foam, to the apple crisp and caramel on top, it looked beautiful, and I was happy to enjoy it! This had a great balance between the whole milk, and the amount of Matcha you can see it is a nice dark green color It also wasn't too sweet, and I felt I was getting apple pie from the drink through the hint of spices in there, along with the garnish. I was able to secure a table against the wall for two by myself to take a quick snapshot of my tray and try out my drink before leaving. I also got a caramelized onion croissant with Gruyère cheese. These were both strong flavors, that worked well together. I do wish I could've gotten heated, but maybe that's something you have to do upon request. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other items, and dine at the restaurant in the future, looking forward to the next seasonal drink! ** be sure to park in the lot next-door, to have it validated inside!**

What a gorgeoussss coffe shop!! I have seen Daydreamer all over social media and after reading the…read morereviews on Yelp, I thought it would be a great place to spend a morning working. I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. I'll be back to enjoy the great coffee and good vibes!

She was so friendly and also gave great suggestions from their menu. She was the only person working because we came in the middle of the day. There were a decent amount of customers but the service was quick and efficient. I have to give her her flowers, she was the icing on top of a great experience. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. Parking can be difficult in midtown so be mindful of that when visiting. Definitely a great place to study and get some work done if needed. Happy Eating!!
