I explained the situation and that I was at work and unable to survey the danger. Eyton agreed to meet me that evening at my home. When he arrived, we surveyed the area together with flashlights. He was able to assure us that the tree would be stable until morning. At 8:00 am the next morning, the Crane Crew arrived! I don't know how they did it, but they managed to get a crane through some serious tight corners without disturbing anything. They moved the tree back into our yard with skill. What a relief! They put boards down to protect our lawn as much as possible and put the large logs by the road. The next day the Log Pickup took the logs away while we were working. This was a big locust tree, and they were out of here in under 4 hours. This is a professional, highly skilled, highly responsive crew. Thank you all for helping us out! Yes, I know, and trust me, not a day goes by that I don't kick myself in the you-know-what for not guarding my money. They are only motivated to finish a job if they haven't received payment, which, at the end of the day, baffles me. I needed a bunch of trees removed and stumps ground. Their communication is beyond horrific and I cannot be more grateful that I have all of our conversations in writing. Excuse after excuse. I was told they'd be back out to grind the stumps they left two to four days after - the service was done on May 12th to give reference. When it didn't happen, I was then told that the owner "meant well" (yes, said this) but they usually quote one to two weeks. The drawn-out string of excuses goes on and on from there but, as I'm sure you can surmise, they never came back. So I asked for a refund and, well, three guesses - although you'll only need two - how quickly that was (not) given. I had to hire another company because this was holding up getting my entire driveway redone and I ended up losing my space because of it. The actual tree removal was also incredibly unprofessional, which I did discuss with the owner after that job was completed. The crew didn't wear any safety gear, and they left a few plastic bottles in my front yard. I'm certain they were under the influence of something, they drove their large brush removal truck through one portion of my yard - leaving a deep and long tread mark, and they dropped a large tree branch on our telephone and internet lines, which knocked out our internet for four days. I was left with a 20' "stump" a damaged fence and my neighbors siding was damaged along with a gigantic mess. After posting my initial review Will contacted me and came back and cut down the rest of the tree, compensated my neighbor for the damage to their home and had my fence fixed.
