Back in February or March I saw and met with a representative at the Dulles Expo Center. This business is one of the attractions that caught my eye. Getting some photos taken with my wife could be a lot of fun. Doing nudes or something risky or out of our comfort zone would be fun. Talking to one of the representative gave good feeling and something I would like to try with my wife. I wish I could remember the name of the representative, but her name escapes me. I do remember some of the promotional photos I saw on this website and knew I had found the right business. Talking with this representative gave me the information and feeling that this business is worth doing. Doing business with them looks good because of the way the representative handled my questions.

Well, my passion has always been plus size modeling and my dream is to one day be featured in a glitzy magazine or online representing a classy company like Lavish Boudoir. I was told when I met Leslie in person that I was picked sight unseen for this project. She loved my story. I spoke from my heart and here it is... I decided to change my life 4 years ago and make myself a priority. I learn how to live a sober and sassy life, one day at a time. My daughter Presli was my reason why. She deserves the world and I planned on giving it to her. I worked very hard to put all of my broken pieces back together. I learned to love myself and that I was worth it. When I got to Lavish Boudoir I was in awe. These photos are beautiful. Sign me up! And I'm so glad I did. The whole process made me feel like a superstar. Started with a beverage, makeup done by a professional and a multiple outfit photoshoot throughout various places in the studio. The photographer, Leslie doesn't just take incredible photos, she also made the experience fun. Yes, at first it's odd to be in lingerie around someone you don't know, but because of Leslie and the professionalism of her company I was extremely comfortable and relaxed. I appreciated that there was a lot of communication and support leading up to shoot because I had never done anything like this before and was pretty apprehensive. Additionally, the actual shoot was phenomenal, and everyone I worked with was incredibly welcoming and put all of my nerves at ease. Amanda (the photography assistant) was the first person I encountered. She was so helpful and made sure I was comfortable. I also found it impressive how easily she anticipated the needs of my photographer, Jenny, throughout the shoot. They worked incredibly well together. My hair and makeup artist, Joie, was so fun and had great energy. It really was the best way to kick off the shoot, and I felt so good after she finished up with everything. Finally, Jenny was an incredible photographer. I was so worried about posing and my pictures looking too staged, but she really took the time to show each pose first (with very simple instructions to follow), which was very helpful. I never felt rushed, and she got some really amazing shots that I thought looked natural. As a whole, they all hyped me up and made me feel so confident and sexy. Truly a great experience. Even my reveal session was amazing from a customer lens. Cynthia showed me my pictures and was so patient while I tried to narrow them down. She gave helpful advice when asked, and I left feeling like I had a solid set of pictures picked out (though it was hard to narrow them down because there were so many great ones). I spoke with an associate on the phone, she walked me through the process, told me pricing started at $950 and I wrongly assumed that much money would pay for digital images. After I paid a $200 non refundable deposit, I saw a price sheet that spelled out the specifics for keeping my images. Very expensive and very few digital images are included unless you spend thousands of dollars. I couldn't justify the cost of the experience for only keeping one print so I cancelled. If you're looking to do this only for the experience, I bet it would be amazing but I was hoping to keep the images as a gift.
