My memory for doing the steps on my own is not so great, however, my trepidations were erased as soon as I took my first class. This is an award-winning husband and wife team. As soon as I set foot in the door Danny and his lovely wife Catia immediately made me feel welcome. My instructor is Danny and he had me dancing right away. He is great on helping me with my form and helps by repeating the moves until I get it. He is encouraging, kind, helpful and respectful which goes a long way towards easing my nerves. The ballroom is very beautiful, elegant and large. Even after the first few weeks of lessons I had a grasp on the major dances and feel confident enough to go out dancing. Together they make this place a little girls dream, my daughter has been able to meet new friends and enjoy her Saturday's learning Ballet. It's been an amazing experience, she did cheer in pre-K and now here we may explore other options like Hip- Hop dance... they also offer music lessons with instructors. Over-all a great local studio to bring boys and girls and keep them busy. I have truly enjoyed the experience and my daughter has found a place she loves and looks forward to returning each week. It is never too late to begin and you get very professional step by step directions from instructors who are not just experienced dancers but also have professional and kind personalities. Everyone I have gotten to know is so kind and it feels like a big family. Dance has become my sport and I am now in the best shape since I did martial arts at a high level years ago. Through DWM I have also extended my network and built some unique friendships and connections around the country. Because of my desire to practice a lot, I have taken advantage of our option of also training with current and previous World Level professional dancers.
