I go there with my daughter, and it's perfect for kids. I love that it has plenty of parking, a small restaurant, and reasonable ticket prices. The gardens are very serene, with beautiful paths, koi ponds, and a calming atmosphere that feels like a little escape into Japan right in Florida.

We spent our time visiting the Japanese gardens. It was excruciatingly hot the day we visited. We were glad for the frequent benches to stop and rest. We enjoyed the beauty of the various gardens. Especially liked the bamboo grove as my husband got to explain to a few folks a bit about bamboo and the ingenuity of his grandfather using bamboo on his farm in Georgia as irrigation conduits. The sign saying don't carve the bamboo next to a carved stalk was ironic... In addition to the various plant gardens, there were the rock gardens, the waterfalls, and the pine forest. Liked seeing the koi fish and turtles. Another highlight was the bonsai exhibit. Throughout the winding path, there were stone lanterns and small wooden huts. At the entrance to the area with the original 1977 museum is a laughing Buddha statue of Hotei, the god of happiness. Smaller than expected, you might miss it the first time you pass by. As a caveat, prepare for lots of walking. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat or carry a parasol, sunglasses. They have a couple areas with steps, but there is an alternative "easier" path for strollers or handicapped. And if possible, come when it's cooler. I'm glad we walked the entire perimeter. But for someone very much out of shape, I know I'll be feeling my achy muscles. I'm glad we got this brief glimpse into the history and culture of the Japanese in South Florida. It's one of the most distinctive tourist attractions in our area.

The interior storefront is part ice cream store, part candy shop, and part open seating. It connects directly to Bambini's pizzeria, which is takeout only. However, the open seating is the perfect spot to eat that pizza. Old fashioned looking booths and tables are made even more fun with a ceiling full of vintage toys and interesting items. My kids spent the whole time pointing at things they saw. In the front, there is a table with paper products and pizza fixings. You don't have to eat inside though - there is also eating outside. A small backdoor is the secret entrance to their amazing backyard space- full of tropical plants, statues, some covered tables (although not covered during heavy rain). To go beyond this, you must pay a fee- to see their animals. A very old school florida spot! It was raining so we weren't able to go this time, but my kids loved looking at all the vintage things and drooling over a million candies, that it was fun just being there.

What began as a small shop with local jellies, ice cream, and fruit is now a fun attraction complete with animal experiences! When you first enter, you are brought to a classic ice cream shop. There are delicious flavors of ice cream along with little souvenirs that are sure to grab children's attention. To the right is their pizza shop, which I haven't tried but always seems to have a line of people waiting so it must be good! Out back is where the real magic happens. It's like walking through the Narnia wardrobe. There are several areas for dining outdoors , a smoothie shop, a train ride, and a GIANT area to walk through in using all types of animals . The have goats roaming, highland cows, bird experiences, bunnies, pigs, and turkeys!!! You do have to pay to enter, but it's a small price for all that is offered. They also have food available to purchase so you can feed the animals. I recommend grabbing the veggies bucket because the goats roaming around LOVE the veggies and are very friendly with kids!!! They also offer a petting area where kids are able to interact with bunnies, pigs and goats. There is something to do for kids and adults of all ages!!!!!!!!!!

We also (the adults) sat at the bar and had a salad (shrimp salad and had the strawberries on the side) and my husband had a guinness. The place has recently been taken over by another theatre and it is supposed to become nicer over the next several months (the theatre side). We like to bowl so we hope to come back at a different time. They need to keep having the place cleaned so that people will come back (including the bathrooms - the bathrooms were not as clean as I would have liked them).

It was two hours of open bowling for the kids. There was some trouble with the lanes, the bumpers were not working at first, which made the kids bit upset. As for the service and food. We started with chips and salsa, chips were Nice and crispy and the salsa had nice flavor. They brought out a vegetable platter with broccoli, carrots, celery and red and green pepper slices with ranch dressing. The vegetables were super fresh. After that came out fried chicken tenders and nuggets. The tenders looked good but were breaded very heavy, the nuggets were way better. The served the four different sauces. One was a nice and spicy buffalo sauce. After that was pizza. It was double sliced for the kids and was much better you would normally find at a bowling alley. Our lane servers were pretty good. They made sure the pitcher of what was ordered were never empty and brought out more food as needed. It was a fun time for all. The only thing that could of been better is that there could of been more too acomedate the party.

The room looked like Sherlock Homes filed for bankruptcy and had to furnish his office from a flea market clearance bin. The puzzles just didnt make sense, it wasnt "challenging", it was just a bunch of random shit thrown together, and we were just stuck there playing "guess what the owner was thinking". And the best part? They locked the door and then completely ghosted us on the walkie talkie. No hints, no responses, nothing. The walkie talkie turned out to be just as useless as the rest of the props. At that point it stopped being an escape room and started feeling like a low-budget hostage situation. I've had better communication from people that owe me money. Basically paid $100 to get locked in a bootleg Sherlock Holmes office with zero support. At one point I wasn't even trying to solve clues anymore, I was just wondering if I should start rationing oxygen and writing my will on the back of a fake clue envelope. ------------------- Response to owner: Yes, the walkie talkie was eventually replaced, but there was a solid stretch where we were locked in asking for help over and over with zero response. Not once, not twice, multiple times. At one point we literally gave up, sat down on the chairs, and just started having a full conversation. On the clues... we didn't ask to be completely abandoned, we just didn't want to be spoon-fed. There's a big difference between "let them figure it out" and "let's pretend they don't exist". And regarding the "wrong locks", that kind of proves my point. If everything feels like it could go anywhere, it stops feeling like solving puzzles and starts feeling like you're just trying random combinations and hoping something clicks. For the price this isnt worth it at all if im being honest. The experience just didn't match the price point, especially when part of the game was us sitting there like extras in a movie, waiting for someone to remember we were still locked inside.

Definitely a step above regular theaters. And the seats themselves were super comfortable. If it were just for the movie quality and the seats alone I'd definitely give EVO another 5 star review. However the food service was dreadful. Our movie started at 7:00 and right on the dot we ordered our food, one of the perks of sitting in the dine-in pod seats. Times ticking away, the movies playing, nothing arrives. Literally waited an hour and 15 minutes until I felt the urge to go check and see what was up, missing some of the movie in the process. I get to the lobby where the door to the kitchen is, our order is sitting there on a tray and there's a waiter with his back to me, eating something right over our food. I was absolutely disgusted and wound up not eating it. Also you got to be kidding me with these bathrooms, they are absolutely revolting. Every toilet seat is covered in piss, the floors are filthy, the sinks are dirty, some of the sink fixtures are rusty, most of the soap dispensers have no soap, even the hand dryer was dirty and moldy. It was an absolute abomination. All in all I'll give EVO 3 stars this time around. If they cant improve the bathrooms and the food service, I don't really care how good the IMAX looks, I'm definitely not going to be coming back.
