I found out about this place from my insurance. I went to them for two cleanings. They also gave me a consultation to take the gems off my tooth. In June, we made an appointment to remove them. It was scheduled for December. I received a call stating that it was scheduled a day later, the appointment was for a cleaning, and that they can't even remove the gems anymore even though they gave me a consultation. They wasted my time when I could've found someone to do the service instead of waiting 6 months for nothing. read more

I had my filling done in the beginning of June. Since then I've been having severe pain every day on the teeth you worked on. I can't eat, drink, or sleep how bad it hurts me. I have called the office multiple times trying to get a hold of some one. Once I got a hold of the Temp assistant there were unable to help me on what to do or how to get ahold of someone else to help. (Don't expect a call back if you leave a voicemail. They won't) All I have been told is to wait until the 22nd to be seen. I called on the 12th. There is absolutely no way I could wait another 2 weeks with this pain after already hurting for 4 weeks as I mentioned to her. I requested multiple times and left multiple voicemails to send over my X-rays. The temp assistant said she couldn't send them and the doctor could not untill the 22nd. Since your office could not help me I had to see another dentist and take another day off of work. Which means I had to pay another fee to be seen and have work done to fix your mistake. My tooth had filling going all the way into my gums on BOTH sides. Causing extreme sensitivity to any hot or cold food drinks even the air touching it. I feel that my appointment was rushed and this is what may have caused the error. I've been so uncomfortable for over 4weeks straight. This is not fair to your patients having to wait so long and not being able to get ahold of someone not even an emergency number or email beside your office email you won't see untill the 22nd. What are your patients supposed to do besides find another dentist or go to ER in an emergency ? I'm concerned that by law you would need to see me or at the very least help and send my X-rays over. read more

It's unfortunate for anh-thy, but from what I experienced I was able to receive impeccable service and I'm a lifelong customer there. I followed them from their previous office at North Capital all the way to this one. There's two doctors there and Lanchi is the one who owns as well as responsible for the more difficult appointments (such as wisdom teeth). The place looks very sanitized and the atmosphere is well...a dentist office, but they have game consoles and comfy chairs for your husband and kids to wait outside. Moreover, seeing that the place is owned by Asians, it definitely does not fit the typical Asian dentistry office. Just for kicks, I did get my four wisdom teeth removed from here and one actually was growing side ways. I removed two at the same time once too and surprisingly my face did blow up just for a day or two and I was able to eat again by the third day. She (Lanchi) called to check if I was okay since it was difficult supposedly, but I was a total happy camper and slept like a baby that night. No pain. Lastly, they have goggles for you to wear so the water won't spray in your face like many other places. Receptionists are kind, although I have yet to see the same face twice. lol They also make appointments for kids as well and I saw a kid strapped onto one who didn't cry because of all the stickers he received. Kind of cute and the dentist was really nice so there weren't any kicks and cries. Overall, very satisfying just try to get Lanchi to do your teeth then all will be well. read more

the services is bad, the office is smell, the station is very close to each other, while they have me wait for my turn, I got almost throwing up because of the awful smell that they were working on the customer teeth in the next station. Never go here for cleaning, coming in with no problem but when you get home your teeth crown is crack and broken. I came back and ask they blame on me for eating something hard even though I wasn't eat any thing after that. And especially the crown was crack and broken a piece is also from their work just few year back. I don't recommend to any one going to this office. read more

If I could rank this place negative I definitely would. My first visit was in July 2009 right after I had my braces removed because I needed a cleaning and bleaching done. My orthodontics gave me a panoramic x-ray of my teeth which I gave to my dentist and they suggested for me to remove my wisdom teeth. However, the dentist informed me that they are unable to extract my wisdom teeth and I would have to see a surgeon. That is fine by me. I came back for another cleaning on Feb. 9 2010 and the same dentist asked me how come I haven't had my wisdom teeth removed. I said because last time I was told that it couldn't be done because of the position of my left wisdom teeth. She said "No no, I could do it. Go make an appointment". So I make an appointment THREE WEEKS later on March 2 (today). I requested this entire week off work because my job is customer service oriented and you cannot work if your face is swollen like a balloon right. Came in bright and early today and guess what they said, that they couldn't extract my left wisdom teeth!!!!!!!! I could not believe what i just heard. I asked her why would we schedule me an appointment in the first place when I REMINDED her THREE WEEKS ago that my left wisdom teeth would be difficult. She then had the nerve to say "I never said that". WOW are you serious. She basically called me a liar!!! I explained to her that she has a copy of my X-ray on file and DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID, "did you tell us about it". SERIOUSLY?! DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU WHAT IS IN MY FILE. I get ONE sorry and that's it and a week of pay loss. What a trade off. I am surprised this place is still even open for business with this kind of customer service. After about 2 years, I've finally made an appointment to visit the dentist. As a new patient here I was welcomed by awesome staff members and assistants. They were very informative and got straight to business. My dentist has taken care of 3 cavities, 1 filling, and 1 wisdom tooth within a estimated time of about a hour. At the end of the procedures, I was amazed that it was all over within that EXACT hour! Definitely coming back for my next wisdom tooth removal and any other dental concerns! read more

It's quite hard for me to believe that this place has bad reviews. Growing up I've always been to a pretty decent dental office, one that my parents picked out which accepted my type of insurance. A few years ago, my original dentist office stopped accepting my insurance so I had to find another one. My cousin recommended The Dental Place. I had so many other problems on my hands at the moment, problems with my teeth was the last thing I would want to worry about. I had braces, with a broken root canal and so much other pain along with the fact that my son was diagnosed with leukemia. For months we were in the hospital and I was his primary caregiver which meant i had very little time to do anything else because his care was the most important. When I had the chance to finally get work done on my teeth, I couldn't have asked for anything better than the job Dr. Lachi has done. She would always show me my x rays, and throughly explain what the problem was and how to fix it. She would give me all of the options available and never pressured me to go one way or another. She was also very nice to work with my hectic schedule. Dr. Lachi is such a sweet lady, and actually gets to know her patients. I've only been to her 3 times but she's always asking how my son is doing. Out of the 3 times I needed work, she didn't once rush through the appointment. I LOVE THAT. I've had a crown placed on my broken root canal, my teeth cleaned with cavities filled and lastly a root canal done for another tooth. Seriously, so much work done but never once had to stress or worry if I was in good hands. After the first visit, I was so happy that it was a perfect fit for me. 1 star because they accepted my insurance...another star because the FRONT desk were very nice...that's all I liked about this place. dr was in a rush, she was talking smack about patients who didn't show up...and was very loud when talking about what I had to have done that the whole office could hear.. unprofessional..no patient privacy. I've never exactly gotten around to posting this review, but I believe that it's a social responsibility and a civic duty to notify others of just how horrible this place is. I've gone here for about four years, and as a child I thought it was normal to feel immense pain while teeth cleaning ( that is, until I went to another dentist and the realization struck--cleaning teeth isn't supposed to cause bleeding, shocker!) There are numerous of times where I've been wronged by this place, but the highlight of it all was when I got my first filler. During the whole process, the dentist did not bother to explain what was going on and what she was doing. Instead, she of was very rude and rough as she was preparing my tooth. As she's numbing me, I literally taste this bitter metallic taste, which I know for a fact was blood. I must have looked horrified because the terror showed in her eyes, as she began stuffing me with a ton of cotton. All she said was "It's supposed to be sensitive there." At this point, I'm well aware that she must've messed up because I'm bleeding more than I should. By the end of the session, she quickly pulled out the cotton pads (which were bright red, confirming my worries.) Sure enough, after two days my right cheek was swollen and in so much pain. Not to mention, she also managed to cause a gap somehow in the filling, causing every bite to feel a cold ache for about three weeks. We had to go back for her to fix it (unfortunately) and she brushed it off as if it were a normal thing, even though she made a mistake. Don't trust this dental place. They'll charge you for services that were not done and have you initial off on them. I had one cavity that was filled and they charged me for two fillings. I trusted them enough to put my initials on the bill. It was my fault for not reading it, but ethically, they are at fault. They just tell you to initial on things and you think they would not try to rip you off, but they do. I have dental insurance so they are ripping them off too. I examined the tooth that they supposedly said they filled, but I don't see anything whatsoever of a filling because they use a white composite that I can distinguish from the metal ones I had before. I'm going to file an appeal and we'll see how that goes. I called them and they said they'll call me back, but that didn't happen. Make sure you look at your bill and read everything they want you to initial. Also they did a bad job on the filling because my tooth is now sensitive to hot and cold food and beverages, which I didn't have before. read more
