I would never recommend this dental office to anyone. My family and I have been patients here for years, trusting that we were receiving the care and treatment we needed. Unfortunately, after recently getting a second opinion from another dental office, I was shocked to learn that several issues with my teeth had either been missed or had not been properly addressed over a long period of time. It was incredibly disappointing to realize that I had placed my trust in this office for so many years only to leave feeling like my dental health had suffered as a result. On top of that, the front desk staff have consistently been some of the most unkind and unwelcoming receptionists I've ever dealt with. Every interaction has made me feel like patients are an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Basic kindness and professionalism seem to be lacking. After my experience, I have completely lost confidence in this practice. I had high hopes for Unident Dentist since they take my insurance and are close to my place, but my experience was pretty disappointing. I booked a simple cleaning, and even though I showed up on time, I ended up waiting over 30 minutes in the lobby before they called me back. Then, after getting seated in the chair, I waited another 20 minutes for the hygienist to show up--it felt like they totally overbooked their schedule. The cleaning itself was fine, but the dentist barely spent two minutes with me, just a quick glance and a "looks good," which didn't feel thorough at all. The staff at the front desk were kind of cold, and when I tried to ask about a follow-up for a filling I might need, they seemed annoyed and brushed me off. The office itself is clean, and the equipment looks modern, but the whole experience felt rushed and impersonal. I get that they're busy, but I'd rather go somewhere that doesn't make me feel like I'm on an assembly line. Probably won't be back. read more

I called the Unident today to make an appointment for me and my wife and I told the staff to add my son in our appointment since my wife and my son don't drive so I requested the staff to give us the same appointment so that way it would be convenient for us but unfortunately the staff doesn't care about the convenience and she declined my request. Since the Unident staff doesn't care about the convenience, I immediately told her to cancel my wife's appointment since they don't deserve to have good patients. I would rather find a new dental clinic for my family but not unident anymore. If I could only give the Unident a zero star of my review, I definitely do that. read more

We have been using Unident for Years. My son had his Braces done there with all the follow up with regular cleanings. He still goes there until he ages out and cant use our Insurance anymore. My daughter went there for years until she aged out and was not covered by our insurance anymore. Dr Can called me directly when I almost made a mistake looking into cosmetic full upper implant. I'm glad I listened to him !! They have specialist that come every month for Endodontist, Periodontist, Orthodontist and Implants. They also have referral services for specialist if needed. Should have read the reviews before deciding to start treatment here. They had me go at least twice and not get anything done. I had an appointment set up for tomorrow 1/4 and I just got a call telling me, they are canceling my appointment as "they have not received a response from my insurance" mind you whatever they are waiting for has nothing to do with my appointment for tomorrow! After explaining to the lady on the phone that my appointment was NOT for a crown, she basically said "we still need to cancel your appointment"! Worst service I have ever received from a dental office. Very disappointed and they also are advertising as the dentist for union workers...what a waste of time, I could have just be looking for a new dentist these last two months instead of waiting for my appointment to suddenly be cancelled last minute. read more

I've been a fan of Dr. Can from he minute that I met him - professional, congenial, personable, not an alarmist all together with outstanding bedside manner. Never met any other like him! His staff including Marisol #1 and Marisol #2 are the best thorough dental assistants around! If you need or want honest & direct dental care without being sold by your typical salesy dentist, Dr. Can is who you need to see!! Even the receptionist today Ingrid in the midst of COVID-19 was professional, warm, gentle, and compassionate. All the staff eliminates any virus spread concerns here. Terrible place! They schedule you an appointment at 3pm and see you until 4pm. How inconvenient is this? I request time off work to make my appointment extra early, might as well make my appointment till 5pm if you cant see me at 3pm. Aside from that the staff is so upset maybe they don't like their jobs. Specially the big one infront I mean I get you might be upset with your life, i would to if I looked like that.. but why should that affect you at work right? That's not all. The braces on my family member were always a discomfort. Always falling off and detaching from the teeth. Terrible service, terrible treatment. Advice: DO NOT come here. A great BRACES place! We have a wonderful experience at Unident. My son was very well taken care of during his 2 years braces process. The staff is so friendly, experienced and skillful. The office always clean with high tech equipment. Font desk staff alway greetings you with smiles, offer flexibilities for appointment schedules and more with reminder calls before your appointment. Orthodontist Kamath, Dr. Bui, Dr. Can are all awesome Dentists. We were impressed and thankful that we have selected Unident for my son's brace and general dentist services for my family. I've been here before and had good experiences. I've been calling a couple times a week to make an appt for a cleaning since early August and get put on hold each time, I never get to talk to anyone!! I've even said please don't put me on hold, here is my name contacts call me as soon as you can so I can make an appt, never received a response back. Just left a message for the office manager to call me, we will see how that goes! I probably should take this as a sign to go elsewhere but they are contracted with my union, the prices are great! My husband has had a lot of work here and always has good things to say. A lot of other reviews talk about the office staff being rude but we've only had good interactions up until now. I get being short staffed, I work in the medical world but this is how you lose patients not cultivate trust and customer satisfaction. read more

I was referred here through my job. I must say over the years things have changed. I will give a comment about the staff they are very nice and will help you understand what's going on. Normally I'm a nice person and don't really pay attention to attitude. But the female dentist there is rude and very short with you when I'm a paying customer. I thought it was me being sensitive the first time but when I went in the second time she rubbed me the wrong way. Unident prices are reasonable but the service can be a bit much. I first learned of Unident from my work and because I'm in the Union they offer us certain specials :D which makes my wallet happy Lol. All the ladies there are great, nice and professional. I have never had any issues booking appointments or with any of the services received. My SON had braces and since he's not the best at watching what he eats they would break often I never had any issues being able to do an emergency walk in to get them fixed. I have been going to Unident for 3 years now and to be honest I'll never go anywhere else. Oh and a Major plus is the cleanliness of the office they sometimes have a candle burning up front that smells so bomb. It's unfortunate but I have been coming here for over a year for my daughters treatment . We are always on time and they are always running behind . My daughter is being treated for braces and she often is breaking her brackets and every time I have to hear her say "You broke it " and gets upset . These are kids ! How dare you get upset for something you can fix and your getting paid for . I'm sorry I had to leave a review I just got my wisdom tooth pulled out they barely gave me instructions on how to handle after care they just me take Ibuprofen.... I wasn't even prescribed no Advils ibuprofen or even pain medicine to deal with this pain. I had to go to the emergency room cause ibuprofen didn't do anything for the pain. And on top of that my appointment was at 2 pm i wasn't seen until 4:45..... so unprofessional. Everytime I have appointment it seems like I have too wait atleast 2 hours !! And the front desk have the attitude of a dentist when in reality there only dentist assistant who went to school for two maybe months .... Lol the whole place is trash do yourself a favor and go somewhere elsewhere it's not worth it if I could leave 0 reviews I would!!! read more

Worst dental office I have been to. Horrible customer service from the front desk they are rude and not understanding of emergency situations. I understand they have other patients, but in healthcare you need to prioritize emergent situations. Once you arrive you spend 20+ minutes in the waiting area and another 20+ minutes once you are in the dental chair. The dentists don't offer patient centered care, they don't explain to you what they are doing, and don't demonstrate interest in your dental care. A family member started their treatment with braces 5 years ago and the dentist says she doesn't know how much longer the treatment will last (since the insurance is paying the whole treatment they are taking advantage). However, my family member is in the process of leaving this dental office. I have stopped going here and don't recommend this place at all. Don't waste your time and money here it's not worth it. I found another dental office that is amazing and the dentists truly love what they do. read more

I LOVE the staff- all of them have been great in the 10+ years I have been coming here. The staff at the front are sweet and helpful and my teeth and I have always been grateful for Dr.Cam. I love them enough to give them the five stars, seriously. My only complaint is it literally takes over an hour and a half to get a cleaning done every time- I don't know if it's being understaffed, overbooked, or both. My last cleaning took two hours. No cavities. 15 minutes for the cleaning, the rest was waiting :/ I would just like to be able to book an appointment and know I will be seen at that time. Otherwise why make an appointment? This place is horrible... our appointment was at 11am, called to sit in a chair at 11:45 and was seen by the doctor at 12:30. My son's tooth (crown) came right off in a matter of hours, returned the next and received the same customer service. It's very unfortunate that I have to leave at one star yelp review to this dentist office, I've just experienced a horrible Experience with them. I had an appointment scheduled since four months back and I was calling all day today to confirm my appointment cause no one called me to confirm or anything no letter nothing. When I show up they tell me that my appointment has been cancelled since few weeks back and they had left me voicemails. This is BS cause the number they had on file was not even mine. They could have at least sent a letter letting me know before have to cut my day short at work and avoid my drive. All I recommend is save your time and go somewhere else, it's not worth your time going to a dentist office that is unorganized like this. Being the parent of teenage boys I knew getting braces for them was inevitable. I checked with my work benefits as to which orthodontists were in the network and nearby. Unident was at the top of the list. I decided to go there for a consultation. I'm glad I chose this office! I've never had braces before so this was all new to me. They explained the whole process step by step and made me aware of all the options for my sons. Dr. Moon and all the staff at Unident are so friendly helpful and very accommodating. So this place is horrible! If you have insurance and can go somewhere else...go!!!! I came here for the first time about 3 months ago because my husband pays no copay here (he belongs to a union). I usually play $20-$30 bucks co-pay else where. So I came here thinking "great no co-pay!" Oh hell no! First time i waited 45 minutes before i was called then to be seated for another 30 minutes on the chair without no one saying anything to me. First time I just walked out, and was not seen! Ok I called to reschedule and the receptionist said "oh you were the one that just walked out last time." I said yes because no one said anything regarding who i was going to see etc. She did not respond and gave me a new time. 2nd attempt I was seen fast...only waited 25 mins in lobby but that is b/c i was the squeaky wheel and asked to be seen close to my appt time. Once i was in the chair still waited and Dentis didn't say anything, just looked at x-rays and said make an appt to clean cavity. he was with me maybe 15 to do cleaning....I was like what oh hell no! Am going back to my wonderful dentist in Campbell, I don't care if i have to pay $30 bucks co-pay. This place is a joke! They treat you like they are giving you welfare or food stamps. Highest recommendation to Dr Ken, Dr Kim and all the staff at Unident. I had an appointment for tooth implant screening; it was my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by the assistant and front desk people; they were considerate, caring and very professional. Dr. Kim took time to explain the procedures clearly and did not pressure me at all. Dr Ken came by to say hi and to make sure I understand everything clearly, he was knowledgeable and professional. The most important thing is the cost, it was very reasonable for out of pocket cost. I would recommend Unident to everyone. It was the best experience I have ever had. read more

My visit at unident today was the most awful service I have experienced. In the past, I have not taken great care of my teeth and am now prioritizing proper care to better my dental health. I am not picky or too particular about things as long as what needs to get done gets done; I would have been okay leaving there with the little quality service that gets done there because I have been there before and my expectations were not very high. However, when 'Dr. Bui' was doing my cleaning she was extremely rough and was really rude. Her unkindness was not only unprofessional but it was shocking and hurtful. BACKGROUND: I am 24 years old and I am usually quiet and to myself (I wish I wasn't). I have been with unident before (because this is where my parents go under my father's insurance). My last cleaning with them was July 2014 (with a different doctor). Now that I am employed I have dental coverage of my own, so I went to A place called Tranquility Dental last month to get a cleaning done. There, they only took my x-rays and listed a variety of things I needed done such as a deep cleaning, replacing filings, wisdom tooth extraction, etc.. They explained my dad's insurance was not taken there, only my employers and that only some of the high cost will be covered.In the end did NOT get any cleaning or anything with that dentist office. Why? because I spoke to my mom about this and she said that I should continue going to Unident, that she did not have to pay to get cleaning or fillings replaced there. So I made an appointment; I wish I hadn't, I'd rather pay the high cost at Tranquility Dental than go through what I did at Unident... -Dr. Bui, you are the worst person I have encountered in a long time and I hope you do not get away with treating people like this. You do not know me, and you have no right or REASON to mistreat me. I wish I had the courage to get up and leave this place as soon as I started feeling your hateful treatment.- First off, I was not bothered by the fact that the dental assistant that called me in did not greet me too kindly or give much instruction, as it seemed like she did not have much experience. she took my x-rays and prepped me. When Dr. BUI came over to me she started off by mentioning how it'd been almost two years since I got a cleaning as she looked through my file I explained that then was my last cleaning and I had a only went for a consultation else where the month prior.This is when her tone completely changed, "well that means this visit may not be covered." I explained that I am covered by two insurances and did not have a cleaning this year so it shouldn't be a problem. She then commented "but that is double radiation". However,when I was called in the front desk girl later came in with a clip board asking me to update my information and then the assistant said "Im going to take your x-rays" and then she started taking my x-rays. No questions or conversation took place. If she would have asked me the last time i went to the dentist i would have answered her. I said that the other dentist office said I needed a deep cleaning, she responded "you don't need a deep cleaning". I then told her that I want to replace my fillings and quickly responded your insurance wont cover that, I said my mom had that done and covered here, "we will see," she responded. The Cleaning itself: I know that my lack of flossing in the past caused gum sensitivity. But my goodness this woman started picking at my teeth and gum with such roughness and rude attitude. She never braced me for the immense pain or apologized. She then got up and said "okay make an appointment to get your fillings replaced at the front desk". She was gone before I even got up". At the front desk I saw her whisper something to the girl at the front desk, and she then turned and left. The girl was nice about explaining that since I have a primary insurance that my dads might not kick in, so the visit might not be covered. Honestly the whole insurance coverage thing confuses me, but I only went back there because I thought it logical to go somewhere I would get coverage (under my dads insurance) for the same procedures I would get elsewhere (with my insurance). Really, I don't care if I have to pay so long I get what I pay for and I am not mistreated physically and emotionally like I was here!!! In the end, now I might have to pay for being mistreated? Dr. Bui left me with no solutions to my dental issues she merely brought up: a developing cavity I have nor information on how to go about a wisdom tooth extraction. The girl at the front desk asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment to replace my fillings and I told her that I did not. I left feeling vulnerable, hurt, discriminated, hurt, and upset. I wish I never went back there and brought them business. I will NEVER return to that office and would not recommend my it to anyone. read more

they totally overbook each hour....no matter what time your appointment is, you are going to wait for a LONG LONG LONG time. you show up on time, but wait 20 minutes for them to call you in....which is okay i guess....then you are finally seated on the dental chair...you wait another 20-25 minutes at least for someone to come help you....ahhhhhhhhhhh, then they leave you hanging and finally the dentist come see you another 15-20 minutes later. i used to go during my lunch hours so i get back to work like 2.5 hours later for a simple cleaning or other work that shouldnt take over 25 minutes. i don't enjoy waiting around when i book my appointments ahead of time...they are packed all the time because they take HMO....but still if you can only handle 3 customers per hour, dont book 6 per hour.....gosh...i hated the experience each time....i switched right after i upgraded my dental insurance to ppo...thank god! to be clear--this is not a complaint against the dentists (in fact when I was there, my dentist was Dr. Can-he was very nice and did a good job too)...it's just the darn WAIT...they got to manage their appointments better. it really drives me nuts. read more

I have been to this dentist four times now and have been worked on twice. First appointment was a routine first patient appointment with no complaints from me. Second appointment was my first root canal. I was ten minutes early to my appointment and was told by the front desk staff the dentist was on time. I was not called to the back until 15 minutes after my appointment time and my procedure did not start for another 30+ minutes. When I asked how much longer till the dentist would start on me the dental assistant replied "Why do you have some where to be?". This is all transpiring while I can hear the doctor talk about football with his buddy/patient in the room next to me. Two and a half hours later and my root canal is done and I'm free to go. Luckily so far the work he did seems sound, I no longer have any pain in that tooth. Third appointment I made sure to call ahead to see how the dentist was doing on time. Front desk assured me I'd be fine on time so I made the 30 minute drive from Deanza. Well guess what the dentist wasn't on time and I did have to wait around to reschedule. However they promised me a before hours appointment as the doctors only patient. Can you guess what happens next? Yea that's right two other patients show up to my "exclusive-before-hours appointment" and we all waited passed out appointment time with no sign of the dentist. Not even anyone to open the doors!! Complete waste of time. One would think when they are spending thousands of dollars on dental work they would be treated with a bit more respect. read more

The office was very clean & the dentist & his assistant were very nice as well. I only have one complaint & that is why I am writing this review. After having X-ray's done & my teeth cleaned, the dentist informed me that I didn't have any cavities! I was very happy & proud of myself, but that's where it all went wrong. After being told I was cavity free I was expecting a goodie bag with a toothbrush, floss & a sticker. I did not receive the toothbrush or floss, & I thought okay no big deal I have that stuff anyway. As I walked to the front desk to schedule my next appointment I was so excited as I thought this must be when I get my sticker! But to my dismay, all I received was a "see you in 6 months." & that is why I am giving them three stars. read more

This dentist office is AWFUL! They never do their procedures correctly. Both my dad and mon went in to get crown replacement and they did the procedures without doing a root canal first. After weeks of pain they do the root canal which is suppose to be done in the first plce. Horrible Service. We are definately changing dentist after this whole debacle is solved! read more

so far I haven't had a bad experience and I've always been nicely greeted by the staff. So far the Dr has done good work on me and the assistant Marisol really nice and funny making it feel comfortable and not let the nerves kick in.
