She, along with the other teachers there are all very caring and kind. Mrs. Emily is the head teacher at Vinci Park. She is very attentive and willing to speak to me via text or phone at any time when I had questions or concerns. The students learn to sing English and Chinese songs, they do various arts and crafts, and their activities are diverse and fun. My son enjoyed going to school every single day! I am very appreciative of Sunshine school and will alway have fond memories of my boys growing up at this school!

Last year he was at the Vinci Park campus where he is in the orange class. The staff at this campus are super loving, caring and friendly. My son was able to quickly adapt and love the teacher here, and he is especially fond of Ms. Huang and Ms. Emily. At one point he refused the idea of going to a school without Ms. Huang lol... One of the reason we picked this school was that I wanted my son to speak mandarin in early childhood. Most of the teachers here are native mandarin speaking, and this is a bi-lingual school. So if you are looking for mandarin immersion experience for your kids, this is a great choice! My son so far is a fluent mandarin speaker and he speaks some basic English too -- I am sure he will pick up that very fast later. My son learned letters, numbers, and some basic Chinese characters read and write by age 4. I am not academic focused and I am very happy with the progress. The school has plenty of outdoor time, and artwork time -- every day my son brings home a piece of work he made at school which is really nice. Last but not the least, the staff are super flexible and supportive of working parents. My drop off and pick up hours are based on my work meeting schedule, and they were always understanding and supportive. One time we went on international travel and after we got back, my son was jet lagged and super moody when I drop him off, Ms Emily gave us a few minutes to work it out, and told me if you need to go, we got it. If you like to spend more time to calm him down, feel free to do so. She checked with us multiple times to check my son was ok as well as I was ok with the delayed drop off. Super appreciated as a working parent!

Kids have some maths and ELA worksheet everyday, but they can be finished in 30 minutes. They also have some maths and ELA exams throughout the year. School provide Freckle or RAZ kids as extension reading practice. Teachers contact parents for kids behaviors. Social worker and psychologist are also onsite to support kids mental needs. PTA organizes some events each year, all family can join. We have some school clubs too. I would recommend this school to other parents.

Our conversations are generally 80% fitness and 20% whatever else. It's nice to start meeting people that have the same level of passion as I do when it comes to health and fitness. Like Basho, the gym comes first (after work).. that is the type of mentality that I have which I appreciate. A few people was there at the school as well but they were catching Pokemon. We just sat and stared up at the sky which is what I never do. It was nice, I guess but it was nicer when we talked about the Spartan race. This school is an automatic chill place when there is no lunch, dinner, or anything else involved - just good conversations. This is a very safe neighborhood. Good school district. This school belongs in the Berryessa Union School District. I moved just recently, I will update once school starts in the fall. Let's see how idiotic the drivers can be when they drop off their kids at school...

In addition, the school also offers extracurricular activities such as band, clay art, debate, and others which they totally love. We had checked out a few schools before landing on MCS, and we were glad that we made the right decision.

They respond to Emails even after 8pm. 2) The teachers are very encouraging to the students. My son asked the teacher a question. The teacher will say, wow you are so detailed. They didn't just reply to the question but gave encouraging words 3) Happy Students. I have interviewed many parents before sending my son here and they all said their kids are very happy attending this school. 4) Polite students. I once took a cake to my son's school and shared the cake with his classmates. When I left, 3 or 4 students came to me and said thank you. 5) Strict discipline. My son was kicked out of school for 1 day because another kid misled him. He had to write an apology letter per the teacher's request. I am pleased with this because I want a school to be strict on discipline. If you are being late or bully other kids or misbehave, and no consequence is given, this is not good for the child. So I am glad my son learned the lesson early. 6) Extremely generous. They give generous financial aid, and I am very thankful 7) A lot of after-school enrichment program choices.

Teaching science to pre-K students requires a special kind of magic, and she has it. My child comes home every week buzzing with excitement about gravity, life cycles, the solar system, transportation, water life cycle, bursting to explain how the world works. My child is completely hooked on science thanks to their amazing experiments and enthusiastic teaching style. She makes every lesson an adventure, and the growth we've seen in our child's critical thinking skills is incredible. I am constantly amazed by the sophisticated concepts my child brings home, all learned through play and hands-on activities. Ms. Swapna haven't just taught our child science; she has fostered a deep, lifelong curiosity about the universe. We are so grateful!"

The decision to move both our kids (4th and 6th grade at SPM) to a new school was not easy. However, the entire staff here was so welcoming and made our kids feel very comfortable since day 1. Special shout out to our teacher Ms Valayil who goes above and beyond for her students and genuinely care about their academics and well being. Also, Ms Pacheco (Spanish teacher) and Ms Shohana (after school teacher) who are so supportive and caring - and entire front office/leadership team at this campus who exceeded our expectations. As we wrap up the school year this week, our family agreed that we made the right decision to be at Stratford and look forward to continuing our education here. We highly recommend this campus to all our friends and family.

Not every elementary school in the district has T-K; it is short for transitional kindergarten. It basically screws over the kids that are born after August something until December. Gavin was born on Sept. 30 which potentially means he is already a year late but whatevs. I wonder who the hell decided on that. Due to costs, I was no longer able to afford his stay w/ his pre-school so I opted for a babysitter. Everyday I get off of work, I see him bored and unchallenged. I paid for someone to keep him locked in a room. He was occupied w/ television and my iPad. No brain stimulation and no interaction. He fed himself (I packed his backpack w/ snacks, drinks, and a sandwich) and threw the leftovers or the plastic bags away. He could have "watched" himself. After 20 days (4 weeks), I decided it was enough. I made all these crazy arrangements to complete his enrollment packet. This school was full but thank goodness they were quick to contact me and let him start school that Monday. Everything was confirmed on a Friday. I was so thrilled. The principal, the office staff, and his teacher made us feel welcomed and at home. The top pillars contain quotes from "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen McCovey. I recognized that right away. I am blessed and cannot tell you how much he enjoys going to school. The school is clean, relatively well structured but parking can be a pain in the ass. I get there 20 min. early just to chill in the car. Thanks, Toyon!
