Special shout out to our teacher Ms Valayil who goes above and beyond for her students and genuinely care about their academics and well being. This review is for the summer camp, not the school. My daughter attended the first grade academic bridge camp for 4 weeks in July. She's very hard to please. She either hates where she goes, or tolerates it. It's very rare she really likes the camp / school / daycare she's attending. After just a few days, she started resisting going to camp. After a talk with the teacher and director, they said they'd work to make her feel more comfortable and have more fun at the school. Tomorrow is the last day and now she talks about how she'll miss the teacher Mrs. Mandal. She now talks about wanting to switch from her current elementary school to here. I'm really happy the staff was willing to work with me and my concerns to make things better. Pros: For drop off and pick up for certain times you don't even need to get out of the car. They have lunch and snacks you can order daily- no need to pack. Caring staff. Stratford is able to make learning fun. They also teach life skills - just today my daughter was saying how we learn from our mistakes. 4 week summer camp, so you don't have to worry about finding a different camp every week. My daughter has been attending Stratford for almost one year since she was just under 2 years and 8 months old. Initially, I was concerned about her being the youngest and needing more attention, worrying that the teachers might be overwhelmed or that she might be unhappy. However, to my delight, she has never once cried about going to school, nor has she ever resisted attending, even over the past year. I am extremely grateful to her teachers, Ms. Liz and Ms. Nethra, especially Ms. Liz, who has become the favorite. My daughter mentions her name daily, which almost makes me jealous! Feedback from other parents is similar; everyone loves Ms. Liz for her warmth, ever-present smile, frequent interactions with the children, and good communication with parents, which gives us great peace of mind. Ms. Nethra is also very conscientious and careful, even taking off my daughter's hair accessories during nap time to ensure safety. We feel very fortunate to have met these two wonderful teachers.
